The crowd of spectators utters a collective gasp of shock at the illusory visions of Hell unfolding around Dr Jones....

Already, the Fierce Ones entertain us with a spectacular show.... They take our bland arena and create of it an artistic vision of Hell, far more stimulating to our optical organs, would anyone not agree?

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Aaaaand now I can't imagine anything but this big alien creature with a stereotypical wrestling announcer's voice.

I was thinking more of Greg Proops in Star Wars Episode 1 during the pod race scene...

Male Human (Dwarfblood/Infused) Inquistor 12/ Paladin of Vengence 4 / Chevalier 3| Mythic Guardian-Champion 9 (Lvl 19)

Derrik looks around and looks to the crowd; then back to his party. " This is all just to wear us down, don't use more than you have to. The real fight is up there, those three are the targets, and we are going to force them to realize we are not to be toyed with! Slay it quickly! "

Derrik dashes towards the Bandersnatch attempting to slice at it's legs to soften the creature up.

Well Then... That happened. Er.. next Gets an AoO though.

Derrik soars toward the creature, enduring the Bandersnatch's deadly attack and impales a leg with his chains wrapping around and sending him high into the air.. to slice it's head off with the clean swipe of Excalibur and Dawnbringer combined.

The head of the Bandersnatch cartwheels through the air after Excaliber lops it neatly off....sails toward the box seat where the three star spawn are now stumbling as if drunk to their feet, unmistakable looks of disbelief writ large on their massive squid-like faces!

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

There is a moment of stunned silence.... A hush settling over the vast arena and tiers....

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

Then, the spectators let loose an earthshaking howl of excitement, shock, disbelief, amusement, and gratification that defies description....

The Bandersnatch head tumbles and rolls to a stop beneath the star spawns' box seat, maw drawn back in a monstrous rictus grin....

For a priceless moment, the star spawn are speechless....

A moment of exquisite slaughter, poetry in motion.... The Fierce One known as Derrik Stonesmith is the perfection of mammalian death incarnate.... Once he lived as the legendary King Arthur.... And this is the second life in which he has wielded his legendary sword, Excalibur, King of Swords and Sword of Kings....

Male Human Two-handed fighter 10/urban barbarian 9/cleric of Sif 1; Mythic Champion tier 10; hp 263

Now, dammit, Derrik, save some monsters for the rest of us, m'kay?

Mikey shoots Derrik a big cheesy grin....

The succubi fondle themselves in the demon box, jumping up and down and baring their breasts....

The ropers wave their ropy strands and grin toothy grins....

Male Human (Dwarfblood/Infused) Inquistor 12/ Paladin of Vengence 4 / Chevalier 3| Mythic Guardian-Champion 9 (Lvl 19)

Derrik rides the headless Bandersnatch's corpse down to the arena floor; chains retracting back to their home. He leaps off and faces the Announcer Spawn again, simply cleaning his blades with a swing of his arm. He did not look amused or excited, not even furious. It was as if he killed the Gugs before, he had grown tired of their game already. It was the first life in a long while that did not bleed evil and the fact it was forced here gave him a horrid taste in his mouth. Derrik points to the Announcer.

" Allison, translate for me. Tell him that these small fry are boring, why does he not send the two other lackeys in here so that we can at least have some sport.. and then Himself.. Why not all three.. they MIGHT have a chance then! You will learn to fear us just like your Father shall. "

Derrik looks at MJ and nods " That creature wasn't worth staining your weapon or hands with.. it was forced here too.. it deserved a clean death. "

He admits however that the applause confused him, Why would evil creatures cheer for those who clearly can annihilate them?.... And Why are the succubi always trying to flash him.

The vrocks do their dance of ruin in the demon box, screeching with demonic delight....

The otyughs stomp their stump-like feet and flail their horned tentacles with excitement....

The night gaunts chitter and applaud, beating the air with their wings....

The black-robed necromancers, summoners, oracles, and sorcerers applaud loudly, whistling, screaming, and howling their approval of the entertainment before them....

Golf clap.

The marilith pumps all six fists, screaming in demonic delight....

Rare jewels change claws among the intellect devourers, those betting on the FOs hopping with joy, those betting against glumly turning over their losings....

The faceless stalkers join in the howling applause....

Female Aasimar (British-German) Oracle 1 / Sorcerer 8 / Mystic Theurge 10 | Mythic Archmage 9 (Lvl 19)

Allison raises an eyebrow briefly at derrik's request. A look both asking if he is sure and saying that it seems unwise to provoke the creatures. But she complies nonetheless translating his words into Alko and calling them out loudly for all to hear.

In Aklo: Although we are flattered by your invitation to meet you in glorious combat, even we scions of our bellicose father sometimes tire of waging battle ourselves, and desire to be at our leisure to enjoy the stimulating spectacle of others engaged in wanton bloodshed.... Do you understand, noble Derrik of Earth?

The Fierce Ones are clearly deserving of their name.... Now, let them display their deadly skill against an engine of destruction from a searing, volcanic world in the Pleiades.... The dreaded thrasfyr!

Female Aasimar (British-German) Oracle 1 / Sorcerer 8 / Mystic Theurge 10 | Mythic Archmage 9 (Lvl 19)

Allison continues to act as translator for the group for the duration of their "visit."

Another brief flash of green light heralds the arrival some 60 ft away of a huge, red monster, neither quite bear nor bull nor serpent, with six legs, scintillating crimson scales, and jangling, fire-blackened chains attached to its massive body....

" Though cowardly, they did the smart thing.. We need to figure out how to stop this short or they will keep throwing enemies at us until we eventually perish. They are afraid, they are however careful. I thank you Allison. Tell them I want one of them as a prize when this is all over "

He prepares for another bout.

Derrik didnt know much about the creature, and even he himself would need time to get ready for more to come. He tosses Dawnbringer into the air for a moment it rotating in a circle as a light flashes from that right hand. His armor seems more fortified and any minor wounds on his person gone.

Lay on Hands(Self): 4d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 5) + 8 = 26

He then pulls on the reddish chains attached to Dawnbringer and grips the axe in his hand again.

Radsworth eyes the spawn with suspicion. This was currently "The Derrik Show", and he was glad for it.

As more creatures teleport in, he uses detect magic to watch his surroundings. Is there a bubble, of sorts keeping them in the arena? Does it wane when the green light flashes more monsters inside?

Between bouts he fires off a round from traveler towards one of the intellect devourers in the crowd, observing the effects.

Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

He also takes a moment, observing the Thrasfyr. It seemed like an arcane sort, but what was it? Did it perhaps share some physiology with something he could better identify?

Radsworth knows the thrasfyr is a magical beast of great power, infused with the destructive power of fire, but vulnerable to cold....

He also notices that a dome of force covers the arena, as his round fired from Traveler confirms.... It doesn't seem to weaken or be linked in any way to the teleporting in of this most recent opponent....

Allison looks greatly forlorn at the continued slaughter, (English)This all could have been avoided...

She turned back to the horrific commentators, (Aklo) How much longer is this going to continue? Are we expected to butcher the entire galaxy for some sick form of amusement?

"Yes Allison, I believe we are, until we die that is. Or they do."
