If there is anything you want noted on your chronicle sheet (expenditures, etc.), go ahead and put it here and I'll try to remember to stick it on there.

In case you haven't seen it elsewhere, there is a PFS/PbP survey that just got launched. I wasn't part of putting it together, but I like data. I feel like people can make decisions based on data. Feel free to add data! (Or not).

GM Pedwiddle |

Well, we've still got a little bit more to go, but if anyone has any criticisms of my GM'ing (and all that it entails), constructive or otherwise, I'd be interested in hearing them (either here or in a PM).

I definitely took that survey - thanks for letting us know about it.
@Pedwiddle: You're doing great!
Quick tip/request: could you add the link to the map to the "Short Description" box in the Campaign Info tab? The access would be much easier. Thanks!

GM Pedwiddle |

Done, and thanks. While my request may have come across as fishing for complements, that was not my intent - I'm interested in whether the pace is okay, if I should be more elaborate in my descriptions, etc. While I feel I've got a pretty good handle on things mechanically, and I've had a lot of good GMs to pattern myself after (you know who you are...:-P), it's weird enough being on this side of the GM Screen that I don't feel like I'm able to judge the more esoteric bits very well.

I agree with Veviane, I think you are doing great! I think playing in this format helps us all get a better understanding of the characters and who they are, so that makes it easier as the GM to build a better scene without feeling like someone's going to shout but my character would never do that! I like the clarity with which you are posting mechanical actions. I've been thinking about adopting something like a spoiler which is a bit more explicit (more like what you are doing) and then trying to give the narrative outside that. The pace is good, keep it up!
I'm really looking forward to the end of this, it's too few and far between when a scenario itself (and not just the character interaction) has strongly impacted my character in a meaningful way and this one is going to be a doozy!

I think you're doing fine. Know what knowledge roll is appropriate for combats has been nice. Depending on how you've been doing them and what the enemy is, it might speed things up to put the info in a spoiler tag. Although I still haven't figured out myself when it's best to go for a spoiler tag ahead of time versus not.

I'm just dropping a line to warn you that my posting will be shaky at best these next few days. My 7-month old son is in the hospital, so I'll be mostly AFK. Feel free to bot me if I don't respond within 24 hours, if that's okay for you.

GM Pedwiddle |

Sorry to hear that - I know first-hand how that sort of thing feels. Best wishes, and hope everything works out okay!

GM Pedwiddle |

...and there you have it.
I'll try to get chronicles out this afternoon, but no guarantees. Thanks for putting up with my first attempt at GMing a PbP, hope it went okay on your end!
Question: how do I get an "Event" and "Event Code" for the bottom of the chronicle sheets?
Oh, also, here are the basics for the sheet:
+1 XP, +2 PP, +507 gp
Items available from this chronicle sheet:
Bracers of armor +1 (1,000 gp)
Cloak of resistance +1 (1,000 gp)
Potion of cure moderate wounds (300 gp)
Wand of endure elements (CL 1, 28 charges; 420 gp)

You'll have to set up an event. Go to my account > Pathfinder society > GM/event coordinator tab (middle one), then hit "create your event" and follow the instructions. That'll give you the event number (you choose the name). When you're done you can report the game - it should appear in your GM/event coordinator tab.
Thanks a lot for GMing this game for us! Was it a good experience for you? It certainly was for me.
Finally, some good news, my son's much better now, still not able to leave the hospital but I think the worst is behind us. Thanks for the messages of support!

@Veviane - Good news about your son!
@Pedwiddle - I think you handled yourself like an old pro! The game was a lot of fun!

I posted in the other thread first, but its great to hear he's doing better!
And Pedwiddle, I thought your GMing was top-notch! There were no issues that don't come up in just about every PBP once in a while, and most encounters ran pretty smoothly. Thanks!

Haven't downloaded yet, but it looks close.
Only issue is starting Prestige. Since we failed the secondary in Prince of Augustana, we only have 5 fame. And I spent 1 PP on a way finder.
But I can use a correction pen on my own to fix it easily.

GM Pedwiddle |

Ah, not surprised I got something wrong...I'll get updated copies uploaded ASAP.

DM Kludde |

...except for Veviane, who was GMing and gets full prestige.
I honestly never fill out the prestige part (it's not GM only), so extra points for doing so.

![]() |

Yes, you're not supposed to fill in the "starting exp", "final exp", "starting PA", "final PA". The boxes you have to fill are greyed out (exp gained - though not in seasons 0-2, PA gained, gold gained).
In any case, thanks a lot for GMing this scenario for us! It was also enlightening for me because it was the only Blakros scenario I hadn't played or GMed. It puts things into perspective for the season 4 one!
As a side note, no purchase wih gold, but I got a wand of cure light wounds this time.
