@ GM Hmm: Ok. I will get my purchases sorted out and then send to you as PDF when I'm ready. Hold off on getting Doom Comes to Dustpawn; some of us can pick that up for you.
Not to be a party poop-er - but we shouldn't send watermarked materials ie purchased PDFs to others.
What I was talking about and I'm sure Juniper was saying the same was to gift the pdf to Hmm as we purchase it. So nothing hinky like that would happen.

My bad! I was unaware that you could get a pdf as gift other than from like a Paizo gift card.

Yeah, I was talking about two different PDFs. One is the PDF of my chronicle when I add in my purchases. The second is the PDF of the module, and we have a couple of options here, but it seems that the easiest option if several of us want to chip in is with gift certificates.
The smallest denomination is $5, but for those of us who spend a noticeable amount of money on paizo.com, there are ways to make smaller contributions if you'd like.*
Everyone chipping in $2 would cover one module; everyone chipping in $5 would cover 3 modules.
*: For instance, if person A gifts me $7, and I gift him back $5 and add $2 to my contribution to GM, then A has contributed $2 to GM and has given himself a $5 allowance on a future paizo.com purchase.
Edit: I'm comfortable acting as the escrow, but only if everything is done in public (not in PM). But it might be simpler for some of us just to contribute $5 each and not worry about it. :)

Kiku and Harsk, can you please double check your chronicle sheets? All fixed?
I sent an email into Jesse as well to get the reporting fixed.

Mine is perfect! Thank you. Sorry for the inconvenience :(

Yeah, if we each give $5, that will be enough for three modules. I don't mind. That was already $5 worth of entertainment, there. And if anyone wants to opt out of chipping in, that's fine too.

I sent a $5 cert.
Things to be aware of: (1) you need to change the dollar amount. You can do so when you view your shopping cart. (2) I was charged sales tax. I live in the same state as Paizo, so I'm not sure if that is a factor or not. Our sales tax here is steep. (Because we don't have income tax.)
On phone, so quick update. I received four certificates so I will purchase both modules and look them over.
Thank you. Guys, this was not needed but I appreciate the gesture. Any overage I'll use to pay forward to another deserving new GM who's just getting started.

I've read through #7-06 and it looks like it is too long. I would worry about running it and not finishing both parts in time for Kiku to join the rest of the group for Doom Comes to Dustpawn.
Is there another scenario you all might be interested in?

Maybe one of these?
#5–20: The Sealed Gate
#6-04: Beacon Below
#6–17: Fires of Karamoss
#6–23: The Darkest Abduction
I have not played Fires of Karamoss, and I'm not sure about The Sealed Gate. I've played the other two. Really didn't care for the Darkest Abduction, to be honest. That's my least favorite scenario in a year or so.
I'll just have to see if I can pick up TJaS 1 and 2 at a local gameday, then. I definitely want to get both of those before she hits 8, though.
I am fine with Fires of Karamoss. I would probably use a more tech-appropriate character: Psycho Mantis or Serpent Shogun at low tier and Valais at high. Otherwise, I would need to slow track Kiku.

Ok, I'm consulting with a couple of other people who want to play as well. I'll make a new thread soon, and direct everyone who is interested to go there. :)
After tonight, I'll be getting up a gameplay thread that you can dot and delete for Doom Comes to Dustspawn. That way it can be in everyone's campaigns.
Once I set up the new thread and provide a link, I'll probably close the doors on this campaign unless you guys have some reason to want it open for a couple more days.
I did purchase both modules to see what Curse of the Riven Sky would be like, and to see if it would be a fitting trilogy close given its setting and topic matter. I'll read it and let you know what I think!
I'm running Cultist's Kiss tonight. Any words of advice from the veterans at this table? Throw them under spoilers if so!
I used minis for all 13 cultists when it came time for the branding ritual. The party didn't want to mess with that many opponents surrounding them, so they went through with the branding. They had no clue they were just 2hd Commoners.
Be flavorful with the NPCs they meet. One of the females I remember RPing with glazed eyes like she just got out of a rave, and reacted to everything the party told her with wonder and enthusiasm, regardless of what they were saying.
Use minis for all the cellblock patients. As the PCs were talking to the Dhampir I had one of the patients outburst, which gave the "nurses" a reason to be there.
It's a long scenario if run properly, though. If you're crunched for time then the RP can suffer.
Nefreet, I'm not poor. I don't mind being gifted with a module that I'm doing for a group, but I also don't want anyone to ever feel obligated to give me money for GMing.
I had enough to purchase BOTH modules and did so. I'm currently reading Curse of the Riven Sky to see if it might make a suitable story finale.
No other donations desired! On the other hand, you do owe me an in-person hug should we get a chance to meet at Paizo con!

I have an aesthetics question.
Do you want the new gameplay thread to be attached to this discussion thread, or have its own separate one? I can have multiple gameplay threads attached to the same discussion thread, but it looks a little clunky when you're in a discussion thread with multiple gameplays attached.
(You can see what I mean if you look at the discussion thread for my Overflow Archives campaign.)
