Question regarding the kitsune's Change Shape ability. I know it can be cast once per day (assuming per rest), however, does that start once cast or once released? Kin'zu usually holds her human form unless circumstance requires her to revert to her true form.
Therefore, does she need to rest before she can resume her humanoid or doppelganger forms, or can she revert to her true form and then assume another?
Is there a clarification somewhere or is it GM's ruling?

Also, according to this obviously biased information page, Kin'zu's Realistic Likeness feat has unlimited casts per day so long as she is in her human form... true?
And bite attack... piercing damage??

The way I read the kitsune shapeshifting ability I do not see that it is limited in any way. I believe kinzu may assume either form pretty much at will with the listed time limitations as far as time it takes to transform.
I think a bite attack is considered piercing damage.

Oh, I also wanted to let everyone know that per PFS leadership there are no plans to remove kitsune, tengu or nagaji as playable races for the time being and definitely not by Gen Con. If and when they do switch it up, however, they have indicated little warning will be given. They are also being cagey as to what the lock in requirement will be. If they follow the aasimar and tiefling model, then it is one chronicle. If they follow summoner, it will be two full levels. My guess is that it will fall in between those extremes. To be safe, we may think about trying to the characters at risk to second level.

That would be appreciated on my end, though I know it seems to be hard to keep two campaigns going at the same time.
And for some reason I read somewhere that Change Shape was once per day. Rereading I do not see that anywhere.
So, theoretically, if Kin'zu decides to take the Swift Change, she could literally run through the streets assuming a new form every corner she turned. Woe to the ones who ever try to trail her.

Have fun in DC. Make sure you stop at Philips Seafood along the waterfront. Great food!
All of the museums are great, at least those I have been in. Just be forewarned that the Holocaust museum can be a bit of a sobering experience. It is something that everyone should visit but I would do that on a day that you want to be in a more reflective mood and not something to see at the beginning of your day. The new WWII memorial is also much better to see at night, if it is open.

I'm back! Once again sorry for the lack of posting lately but I had a few trips planned back to back. I was hoping to have some time to post from Gen Con, but between near non-stop gaming and lack of decent wifi from the hotel I just couldn't do it. In any event, game back on!
Izzy, I am sure I should have used my time at the Con to expand my horizons, but me and Ark basically played PFS the whole time and could not have been happier. The GMs were great, our tables had great players, and the vibe in the room was hopping. We played the special, which was nearly 1000 people playing the same module at the same time. It was nuts, but a great time.

Yeah it was nuts in the best sense. Nothing like 1000 gamers all working on a universal objective, with points awarded to tables that hit the objectives first that in turn advance the scenario for all 1000 players.
I was impressed how friendly and helpful both Paizo and Hero's Lab folks were. I spoke with a few of the corporate big wigs who are about as real and down to earth as you can get.
Highly encourage you all to try a Gen Con, Paizo Con, over something along those lines.
The 7 year old GM was impressive to see. Yes, 7.
I am still processing the 6 chronicle sheets and 4 boons I earned.
Great mature attitudes by all in a family friendly setting, with lots of things offed for little kids to do as well as non gamer spouses.

Wow, the well issue ended up being a saga and a half. The more issues that got fixed, the more things went wrong. Being a out-of style relic did not help matters, either.
That being said, when the well guy was putting his things away and getting ready to leave, he made a comment about one of grandpa's notes (he made notes about EVERYTHING) - the last time the well got maintenance was back in '94. After 21 years, no wonder it needed some TLC.
Arklore |
Yup it needed it and it looks like before we seel my parents cabin, we will be replacing the pump as its 45 years old.
On a PFS note, just remember that you can use/consume any item of worth you find during the adventure. One you get your chronicle sheet, you can by the item to permanently retain it at the original state of discovery. So if you use a scroll, you can buy it back at the end of adventure. Same with potions or anything. In addition, we call purchase it so no arm wrestling over who gets what. This is very different from D&D and NWN.

Wow. Some guard cats I have; my bad for thinking they would keep other animals away from their food.
Had a big fat coon up by the house just now eating their food while three of the six outside (farm) cats just laid within touching distance of it chillaxing and watching it gorge.
They'll try to maul each other if their personal bubble is invaded by another of my farm cats, but a big fat coon that would probably run at the first sign of dominance has to be chased off by the stoopid human. It would be more effective to chase it off with a hose if said hose wasn't attached to an outside water pump with virtually no water pressure and surrounded by a ton of vegetation that I want to take a machete to just to find the blasted thing.
