JUST so I'm clear, does Lothan break himself free? Do I need to roll something for that, or what?

You know, after all those crappy rolls by Al, Kyffin, and Lothan, I was thinking to myself today, "Man, I hope Tristain uses disintegrate. I'm thinking that's our only hope at this point. No way Kyffin can take another 120 damage."

And when I finally checked the thread tonight, THERE IT IS! DISINTEGRATE! Then I'm like, "YES!!!" The only thing I was concerned about was its hit points. I was hoping it would be enough to kill it. So I was shocked, and super-relieved, when mott said it only had 18 hp's left. Then I'm like, "WHEW!!!" Talk about sweating bullets. :P

You all did some massive damage in the second round. 231 hp!

You forget, Kyffin is IMMORTAL. None can kill him. It's why he's always up front. :)

Wow, HeroLab works again! I just needed to run the update from 2022 (facepalm)

Al is updated to lvl 16, a few things changed that I missed during the manual updates, mostly skill bonuses and few other dex bonuses.

I'm currently a bit under the weather but will try to level up and re-engage by the weekend at the latest.

I forgot to add the Lend Judgement to Al's last attacks, I think maybe the 3rd attack hits as well with that bonus

Yeah, if Heroes feast is still active, then that's a +1 to all of Lothan's attacks.

And 11 extra hit points. I wasn't sure if that was still going or not.

It lasts 12 hours, so I assume it's still going. :)

Great spell - the most powerful Kyffin can cast at the moment.

You know, it reminds me of a Part 1 of 2 of a big finale of a show that's coming to an end. Ran for 5 seasons, 10 episodes each season, and we have to wait until next week to see how it all ends after 8 long years. I'm like, "What?! You can't end it there! I have to KNOW what happens! NOOOOOOO!" Lol! :D

Will Kyffin make it back in time to save the team?
Can we kill the Old Hag before she blasts us again with another murderous spell?

Crap! Man, I got no updates on my gameplay thread! How in the heck did that freaking happen?!

I KNEW I should've freaking checked it anyway. Freaking A, it's been 4 freaking days. Man, that sucks. Sorry about that, folks. Ugh. I've been anticipating this one and was wondering when it was going to pick back up. Ugh. So frustrating.

A quick congrats to mott, Kyffin, and Tristain for getting all the way through an AP together...as well as to the other players who played a part, both in crossing the finish line and moving the story in that direction before departing. That's an impressive accomplishment. It's been a joy playing with you all, and thanks for putting up with me when I went a bit flaky.

I'll likely do a wrap-up post in a day or three, with Starflit saying her goodbyes and well-wishes to the others, standing up Lothan on their date, etc. Then she'll head back to her Black Butterfly collective. She'll definitely put down her experience on paper, but for her organization's posterity--not for financial gain.

Again, big thanks to mott for running this AP (and inviting me to join), and I'd definitely be interested in a Hellbreakers campaign. I bought several of the Revised Core PDFs to finally make the switch to PF2 myself; then I bought the Daggerheart rules, convinced that Critical Role would be switching to that system for their Campaign 4. Now that they've revealed they'll be using the D&D 2024 rule system...I also bought the three core rulebooks for that system. If I carve out the time and have sufficient remaining brain cells for learning PF2 in more depth, I'd love to game with you all again.

Folks, it has been a blast. Thanks for inviting me to this one as well. Man, the Lothan barbs had me laughing the whole time. So dang funny. So much fun.

You know, I played him forever ago in a Second Darkness Book 1. Hated the guy. Just hated him. Wanted him to die because he was so freaking lame. I told myself if I didn't do something different, I was just gonna pull him out. So, towards the end of said Book 1, I turned him into what you've all experienced. And from then on, he's been a blast. Easily one of my favorite pc's. If not my favorite. I'd have to think on it but he may very well be.

This is the first time I've made it to the end of an AP. I still haven't played one through in its entirety, but this is close enough for me. It was awesome. :)

So cool that mott, and Painlord, and Euan made it the whole way. Man, that is just so freaking cool.

Thank you all for making this game an absolute blast. It truly has been a heckuva ride. :)
