I can TOTALLY see him standing there in deep thought, looking at the rest of the party and wondering if he can get a majority vote - and feeling pretty good about it - on leaving the archer behind. LOL! :D

Got to admit, this is the only game I've been in on the forums where a character takes as much guff (Is that still a word??!!) as Lothan, but his player's been a great sport about it all. I've actually felt a bit guilty about this and stopped Starflit from piling on. Besides, Tristain's doing a great job on his own.

I'm trying to refocus on the game some. I noticed over a week ago that Starflit had this new ability called 'greater bane,' thought to myself, "Hmm, that sounds important!" but somehow got sidetracked from looking it up. Since I'd never changed/updated the bane ability on the stat lines underneath her avatar or in the crappy Word document I've stored some of her attack and status macros in, it became a case of 'out of sight, out of mind.'

Now that Lothan's apparently survived the period of time where 'Flit's additional bane damage was half what it should've been, I'll start using the full 4d6 extra damage going forward. :)

@Starflit: Hey, I'm gonna be honest, it's difficult to play a guy like this and other players roll with it as well as y'all have. I love it! Between Tristain's bashing and y'all's reactions to some of Lothan's stunts, oh man, I'm just rolling over here ALL the time. So much fun. Man, y'all keep me laughing. :D

I could totally see Starflit sneaking in some "subtle" jabs in on Lothan simply due to the type of person she is. Hopefully not 4d6 damage-worthy jabs, ;) but definitely some subtle ones. So don't feel guilty! Seriously.

I love this game. It's a blast. :)

As far as treasure goes, Tristain will claim a Cloak +2, a Ring of Protection +2, and a AoNA +1, and toss back his +1 ring and cloak.

Tristain would also like the Belt of Constitution +2, but understands that others might need/want it more. Mostly, if you're a doddering old coot and the belt will keep your fart-seeping moldy carcass upright for a few more months, you should take it. Likewise, if you found yourself knocked out unconscious by the woman you were trying to woo all book and you think this might gird your loins to try again with a different barbaric slaver, then you should take it as well.

I'm good with whichever. But if I were to lean toward one or the other, I'd probably lean toward next year myself. I'm going to try and get Lothan leveled up today, but I doubt I will be able to do that. I have too much going on IRL and am not sure where I will find the time for it.

But I'll manage as best I can if we keep rolling. No worries.

I've hit a busy stretch but will try to get Starflit's character sheet updated today or tomorrow. I'm good with keeping things moving, even if a little slower than usual.

Nope, more of a metagamey thing: I noticed she has a free ring slot and figured every little bit of AC helps. The bonuses stack, correct?

With the new cash, that puts Lothan at 11,500. He'll spend his cash on upgrading his armor and his boots.

Armor of the Celestial Host goes from 16,200 to 21,000 gold.

Boots of the Elven Spirit goes from 5,400 to 7,000 gold.

1,600 gold.

Which is 6,400 gold total, leaving him with 5,100.

Does everyone get a share of gold? Starflit claimed loot worth more than 7,000 gp--is that her share or does she get the gold as well?

Since out GM hasn't ruled we can't upgrade our equipment before (again) heading off after Lowls, I'm going to upgrade Starflit's starknife at some point in the near future.

So there are some encounters on the way to your destination. I'll give you a chance to stop and handle them, but if you want to continue on you can. They're not necessary if you want to bypass, but there may be some benefit to you if you play them out.
