Drawback Feat
You gain a (drawback) feat, chosen when this casting tradition is created. You may take this boon multiple times.

Combatant Caster:

Benefit: You have an increased selection of weapons. As long as you wield any kind of weapon that you are proficient in and can attack with, it counts towards meeting the requirements of Galvanized.

For the purposes of unarmed strikes or natural attacks you are considered wielding your weapons when you are not impeded in using them. Having your arms bound, or wearing heavy chains on your legs are an example of how an average human would be considered unarmed with unarmed strikes.

While wielding a weapon appropriate for your drawback, you gain a +4 bonus on concentration checks while casting defensively, being grappled, or casting a spell while in the area of an environment that calls for concentration checks to successfully cast a spell such as weather or a battlefield.

Special: This feat counts as Combat Casting for the purposes of meeting other prerequisites that depend on it. This feat's benefits to concentration checks do not stack with Combat Casting.

I'm also intending to swap Amber's level 2 SLA's to 3xLesser Restoration as suggested previously.

Before I post Ehren's level-up, I have to make some corrections to Ehren as he is now.

  • Ehren loses the Fetish and Secret hexes, which are supposed to be shaman-only
  • Ehren loses the corresponding Craft Wondrous Item and Furious Spell feats
  • To keep Craft Wondrous Item, Ehren will swap out the Unarmored Mastery feat
  • In place of those hexes, Ehren will take the Defensive Magic minor druidic talent and the Murksight hex
  • Ehren gains mage armor and shield as spells known from the Defensive Magic druidic talent
  • Ehren cannot use Unarmored Training while polymorphed without Unarmored Mastery, so he will swap it out for the Guardian base sphere with the Indifferent Defender drawback, which gives him the Greater Delayed Damage talent

    Changes made to accommodate the new houserules:

  • Ehren is dropping the legendary fighter VMC, meaning that he loses his martial tradition, the Combat Stamina feat, his immunity to nausea and sickening, and his weapon training
  • Ehren gains 3 feats since he is no longer variant multiclassing: Power Attack, Unarmored Mastery, and Extra Druidic Talent
  • Reversing the change from his recent level-up since he no longer needs mage armor - Ehren replaces defensive magic with the healing hex
  • Ehren gains the self-control major druidic talent
  • Ehren is dropping the mythic sphere mastery: equipment class feature he picked up using a mythic feat. Instead he will get Mythic Craft Wondrous Item.
  • The only combat talents Ehren will have now are those gained from his mythic combat talents path ability: Unarmored Training and Force Redirection Technique.
