Gang, GMG has been having some difficulties getting back to any PbP gaming. How do you guys want to handle it? Close out the game now? Get a replacement to finish things?

Skimming to look at the map, we're in the final area. At least a couple fights remaining.

Do you guys need some help getting to the end? It would be too bad to get almost to the end of a long module and then get stuck. I'd be willing to help you out, as long as you're OK with a pace that might be a little slow due to my RetroCon responsibilities.

I won't say no, but I'm also fine with just putting chronicles out.

I agree - I prefer to take Redelia's offer, since slow pace has been the norm for this one anyway. But if you all want to take chronicles and go, I am perfectly fine to do that as well.

We will see if Scratcher has any strong feelings. I'd be willing to push us through to the end, but I know we're not supposed to take over GMing a game we're playing in.

Grisaia, it's actually OK to switch from player to GM to finish off a game, it's just that you can't stay a player and also GM that game. (although you may need to introduce a pregen at the same time to meet minimum player number)

edit: (actually, in campaign mode, it's even not technically against the rules to be both a player and GM; you just can't get both types of credit for the same run)

Huh, interesting point. We're not in campaign mode, so I'll just be patient. At this point we've earned full credit on the chronicles, so completing it is just a tribute to the fallen.

Hey guys, sorry for my absence. My computer dying, working retail hell through the holidays, family issues really took its toll on my end of Dec through January. Things have slowed down and I have recovered things on my end, ans I apologize for not communicating any of this.

It's going to take me a few days longer than I thought because I've come down with a bad cold. It will only be a short delay.

I apologize that delay was far longer than I intended. My entire family came down with a bad cold. We are definitely on the home stretch here, everyone. There are at most 3 fights left, and perhaps as few as 1 depending on choices you make.

Almost my entire office has been down with colds this past week. I'm lucky I haven't caught it from them or my wife.

Uggh, family still taking turns being sick. It's been three weeks of this; I am barely able to keep up with overseeing a special.

Get the special done, work with us when you can. We can handle some months after years.

Also, did we ever fulfill this Season 6 Silver Crusade Faction Objective?:

Rescue a named NPC who is a divine spellcaster with a good-aligned deity or a named outsider with the good subtype.

Alternatively, collaborate with the NPC to overcome an obstacle directly related to the PCs’ success conditions, such as
defeating a foe; summoned outsiders do not contribute to this goal, but called ones do if not coerced into service.

My understanding IS that selecting the full Shackles Paragon precludes the other three bonuses, right?

Took a bit to find it, but no. Whichever XP/PP/GP option we take, we still get the boons.
