Yeah, I'll take the Solarion. Wanted to play a degradant (Sith) Solarion but seems like they got rid of the subclasses. I'll wait till the rules release officially before I have something to show.
Unless something has changed drastically post playtest, I think Solarion is a frontliner.

I plan to technomance. Which I think means I will be action starved for a while - until the final class comes out - but that should be okay at tier 1-2. Current pre-build is tech priest of the Newborn (It is awake!).

Yes, SF2 uses the same structure as PF2. Just more spacey.
(Technically PS2 and SF2 are cross-compatible, but I don't think mixing is allowed in Society play yet.)

Thanks to ThrabenU_gaming's coverage of Starfinder 2e's classes, I had enough material between him and the playtest to put together a draft of my Solarion - see the alias.
GM (and players), let me know what you think (ie if it needs more detail, if I am missing some vital item like a rebreather or if the statblock is otherwise unclear). I do not yet have the Player Core but I hope this is enough to at least spark some discussion about team synergy.
The long and short of it is that he can handle the Athletics and Dex skills while being able to Treat Wounds. He could do Crafting too but I didn't have enough money for a Repair toolkit.

Think I am fully updated and ready to go.
I will be traveling for a work conference from August 7-13. I will have access to the boards and be able to post, but probably slow and definitely limiting myself to brief posts.
Also, what are the chances that this game is complete by the 9/5 deadline to earn the Skittermander boon for PF2? I know these are supposed to be shorter than previous scenarios, but I don't know how much shorter yet.

Happy to try and move this game along as quickly as possible to earn the Skittermander boon, ie minimal roleplay and daily posting.
My character sheet looks good - please let me know if there are any mistakes. It seems like AoN received SF2e content in my absence.

I see the announcement page, but cant figure out how to look up “human” and “envoy” and “weapons” etc…

Whoa, they really spruced up the Envoy!
+CHA to damage on Get'Em Strikes, that'll boost Laurel into being a proper shooter, no doubt.
Also, Size Up is now a Class Feat instead of a Class Feature - I'm taking it back, ha ha.
Ooh, they streamlined the Lead by Example into action compressors! Looks like I can help everyone draw grenades as a Reaction. Keep backup weapons, folks!
Anyway, reverting him back to Level One as we speak, and grokking the Playtest vs Actual rules for Envoy, etc.

Looking for suggestions from folks with more SF Lore than his player - he is from the "big city" and is looking for 2 additional languages to speak as well as one Settlement Lore and one City Lore (it's okay if they are somewhat redundant). Cheers!

Absalom Station is the biggest city in the setting, and gives you an excuse to have pretty much any language. Based on the season info, I think Akitonian is a good choice. Whatever the anacites speak would be good too--I have to check on that.

With the addition of a big beefy d12 melee Soldier, I will switch my Solar weapon from Two-hand d10 to 1 hand with Reach. This way I can liquidate my Commercial Medkit for 5 hand grenades which scale off my Class DC. With a 1 hand d8 reach weapon, I will have a hand free to draw a grenade as a reaction - which might be handy versus fliers. Would generally prefer to keep my reaction for Nimbus Surge though.

Mayhay, your header is still too long. I'd suggest removing speed, Class DC, and most of the details of solar weapon/solar shield.
Wa Cjacaga, your header is also too long. If you remove spells and conditions, it will probably be short enough.
