Maybe Saki can just auto-assist Tezuzu while he identifies things by taking 10 on her Spellcraft. +2 across the board might be more useful.


Just a note, you guys did use magic to talk to the other familiar Syvet, and thus knowing it is possible and how to do it, you might consider it for talking to Winter.

I’d be interested in the +4 Amulet of Natural Armor and the +2 Ring of Protection as Fin could use a boost on his AC so he won’t make so easy a target…

Quasit would definitely want the Dex belt.

The headband would be an upgrade to her current +2 Cha headband, and would improve her sucky Will Save. But I would defer if someone else wanted it.

By my count, that’s 177900gp from the latest haul, split 7 ways that’s 25414.28g apiece. If we add in the 27000g we had banked, that raises the per person share to 29271,42g per person, assuming we split that banked pot equally.

If Fin’s calculation of the True Res scroll costing 28875g is correct, then Selena’s share will cover the scroll with a little to spare for fox treats.

I recommend everyone start making claims on the loot and make shopping lists for Zilvazeraat based on those totals. We should endeavor to keep all this moving. I guess if you want to claim gear from the pile, the cost against your share should be the sell price, not the purchase price, since that’s how much the party loses if the item disappears from the pile.

Q, does that total also reflect selling the Sword of Planes that we had prior to this treasure we found? If not, that’s another 1,594 gp for each of us…

And if we can find any more salvageable guns/ammo, perhaps a bit more…

Since no one else has mentioned interest in the amulet of natural armor nor the ring of protection, I’ll figure those into my calculations, unless someone objects…also, if I get those things, that frees up a Periapt of Health and a +1 Ring of Protection for anyone if they wish it, or we can sell those as well…

Tallying up the Loot Sheet, i have a grand total of 209,850 gp. Divided 7 ways, that's 29,978.57 gp apiece. Shop accordingly.

We'll spend Selena's share on a True Resurrection scroll.

For Quasit's loot, if she claims the Belt of Dex +4 and the Headband of Mental Prowess, that's 28,000 gp out of her share. With the remaining 1978 gp and change, I think she'd want to buy a couple Potions of Cure Serious Wounds (750gp ea) and a bottle of Andoran whiskey (?). She might keep a rifle and/or revolver for a souvenir.

Again, if anyone else wants to lay claim on the Headband, they should speak up. That's an amazing item.

Actually, I'll take the headband. I realized that Kalchine doesn't have a Wisdom enhancing item so that will take him up to a Wisdom of 24, which will give a nice boost to those saving throw DC's.

And the Charisma boost will make it more likely Quasit will succumb to his charms the next time he awkwardly flirts with her.

As a sorcerer, any item that improves your Charisma score is worth getting. At high levels, I like metamagic rods as well, particularly Reach, Empower, Silent or Still. You may also want to consider some scrolls for spells outside your repertoire, but which could be useful for niche situations. Armor Class isn't a huge consideration for a ranged caster, but improving a Ring of Protection or a Cloak of Resistance is never a terrible idea.

Obviously there's a huge panoply available, those suggestions are just off the top of my head for if I were playing a sorcerer.

Well, if I'm not getting that Headband, that leaves me with an extra 20k to throw around. I may see about improving my own Ring of Protection to +3 (10k to go from +2 to +3). Or a Sword of Subtlety goes for 22,310gp, that's a great rogue weapon, might trade in the Gloomblade (worth about 4400 on trade-in) for that.

With the amulet and ring taking up most of Fin’s share for a badly needed AC bump, I think Fin’s gonna focus on ioun stones to bolster his ‘to hit’ mod and increase his saves…

We are firmly in rocket tag territory so little is as powerful as going first.

You'd need to put 3 ranks in use mage device, but Ability Mastery is a rotating +2 enhancement bonus to an ability score.

Combat Stamina would give you a lot of utility. Improved Critical is a notable standout for combat stamina use.


A question occurs to me GM,

A) if Selena is rezzed, what mechanics do I need to worry about? Level her up? Stay the same?

B) if it takes the team a while to rez Selena and I build Winter, what happens if Selena is rezzed later?

It's been a couple weeks since we killed Rasputin. So we need to think about pushing ahead with the narrative.

I'm going to impose a totally arbitrary deadline of this upcoming Monday, July 21st, for claiming any of the loot from the current pile and for anything people want to purchase from the vendor. At that time, we send the list and summon Zilvazaraat. You still get your share of the gold, and you can level up whenever you want. But we need to clear our inventory and start Book 6.


Another question for the GM, when Selena is rezzed, will it be her last body, or since this is true rez, will it be her original body?

I expect that reincarnation would reset what counts as her “original” body as that is what makes sense given how reincarnation is an exception to things such as resetting when one would die of old age. But I wanted to ask just in case.

Selena, if you're interested in playing Selena trapped in Winter's body for a while Zilvazaraat could always be delayed in getting a scroll of True Resurrection. Then he could 'just happen' to get hold of one if you get tired of it.

I am comfortable either way, but I’d just go with reviving Selena unless there is a narrative reason to do otherwise.
