Ting flinches as he watches the creature seemingly float toward Brallenera and attack her. "Watch out 'air Missy, tha bloody bugger is dangerous wit 'at pointy stick, wroight." Not wanting to get too near the large hole in the floor of the bridge, ting stands his ground and attacks the devil with his anointed bastard sword.

Las' actions come BEFORE Brallenera's, so..

Las strkes the smokestick, takes a 5' step, and tosses it.

Aiming to put the smoke so that Ting an Bra are covered as well as the 5' in front of each of them. This means they will have total concealment from the devil.

Ting Tang, i don't know about that.
Nice hit, btw, makes me feel less guilty for the previous fight.

Las Lajas provides a smoke screen for Ting Tang and Brallenera.
Though given them stepping forth to attack the devil, they now have only partial concealment.

Ting Tang scores a mighty hit on the devil, it hisses from anger.
Brallenera's aim is not as good, though.

Las, judged by the sound of the fighting that at least Ting and Brallenera are having some success and taking some wounds. Against his better judgment, but taking confidence in the smoke and his own invisibility, Las, pulls out Ting's wand of CLW's and crosses behind Brallenera as he attempts to heal Ting.

UMD on CLW Wand to heal Ting: 1d20 + 10 + 1d6 ⇒ (20) + 10 + (4) = 34

Ting's looking slightly better, after Las Lajas activates the healing wand.

I thought ting higher than 14, not that it matters I did the math, 64 points of damage minus the 10 heal is still 54 HP damage, so he is really dead... we will talk about the cost of raising later ;)

FYI, one of the reasons why Oil of Bless weapon was so important to this scenario is that you automatically confirm criticals against Evil creatures when using it.

...In addition, all critical hit rolls against evil foes are automatically successful, so every threat is a critical hit. This last effect does not apply to any weapon that already has a magical effect related to critical hits, such as a keen weapon or a vorpal sword.

And with that auto-confirm, Brallenera strikes down the Magaav.

Otherwise it'd still be alive, and made for 'exit, stage left'.

As the devil collapses in a heap, Las hands Ting's wand to Joseph so that the bard can reliably heal the wounded soldiers.

"Desna's beard, the gods were with you on that one! You two are lucky to be alive. If not for those oils and some lucky hits, the venture captain and I would have been contacting your next of kin."

Las is still invisible but if he were not, everyone would see him shaking his head in disbelief. After Joseph heals everyone up...

"Let's get this done. I'm worried that whoever brought this devil here might summon a replacement. I still have about three minutes of invisibility and that can work to our advantage if we encounter any more resistance. We also have two more oils of bless weapon if need be."

Las gives Ting and Brallenera one touch each from his wand of Infernal Healing (Ting then Brallenera).

Las searches the devil while the group waits, then searches the bridge.

He'll regain his 10 hp over the course of 1 minute.
Brallenera will be fatigued for 2x her rounds spent in rage mode.
Which is likely a minute as well.

If healing Ting and Brallenera further with the wand of IH, add 3 mins if you're waiting for it to complete. Or, but i don't know how much charges are left on Joseph's wand, it would be in probably just another minute instead, tops, depending on the rolled results.

Only one charge from my IH wand, I don't want to wait around for 2 minutes. Ting's got a wand that's got 40+ charges on it.

the wand that ting gave Joseph had 46 charges, minus the one Joseph used in the last round. So, due to Las using infernal healing, ting went from -10 hp to +10 hp and became conscious ;)

Slowly becoming conscious, ting remarks "Wells, 'at's a pleasant surprise, I's reckoned I's were a gone'r, wroight."

Sitting up, seeing the smashed carcass of the devil, ting lulls his tongue in a Tengu smile at Brallenera. "From tha looks o' 'at pile o' paste missy ya fig'ered out 'ow's ta 'it tha nail on tha 'ead, so's ta speak!"

Cocking his head he begins to scratch his head, his tongue still lulled out of his mouth "Maybe we's should call you's somet'in' more's appropriate's, hhhmmmm, Brallenera tha basher babe, no no no tha Lady o' Lamblast, no no no." holding a talon in the air, still sporting his tengu smile he blurts out. "I's got it's "Tha Mistress o' Mayhem"" Turning to Las and then Joseph he ask "'At's tha wroight one's wroight?" you get the feeling that this is an attempt by ting at humor...

Once the infernal healing has ran it's course he asks "Lord Joey, would you's mind usin' 'at wand I's gave ya's ta finish 'ealin' me's an tha basher 'ear?" nodding his head at Ballera.

while Joseph is healing ting the bird asks Las, "Well's gov'n'r did tha bloody bugger 'ave anyt'in' woith takin'?"

Once Ting is healed he retrieves his bastard sword and takes a running jump across the great divide and approaches the doors on the opposite side of the bridge. He then investigates the doors for locks and traps, waiting for the rest of the team before the opens them.

As it looks like everyone can take 10 to jump the gap, you all make it across. But the drop would have been a very long one, you can judge.

The red glow of lava dimly lights this vast room. Rivulets of molten rock thread the hall’s floor, fed by streams of lava flowing down the walls. Four enormous forges are spaced evenly around the room, with large hammers, bellows, anvils, and tanks of water dripping on the lava below.
A circular ramp rises gently near the center of the room, looping above the lava channels before disappearing into the gloom above.

At one of the furnaces, stands a dwarven smith, who just finished crafting a spear point.

As she speaks in some harsh, deep tone he can't decipher he starts to hear a familiar voice laugh.
