GM Chyro |
Hafshi, round 9
Tig Tang is getting his fix...a small dose of feel-good energy.
-----------------
Hafshi (-25)
Wall of fire deals 1d4 ⇒ 3 to Brallenera.
"Had enough yet, dwarf?"
Trip: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28, and Brallenera falls prone.
Upon which Hafshi whips Ting afterwards.
Trip: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23, he bumps into a step with his poor beak.
Mace vs Brallenera: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 4 = 281d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
A weaker hit, it's not enough to take Brallenera down yet, who shrugs off part of its impact.

What round is this?
Ting Tang |
feeling the healing power of Josephs wand he lulls his tongue out of his mouth in his tengu smile, "Tanks yer lordyship" Then, turning to the woman, "Ya 'at's wroight, focus on tha girly!" He then slashes up at the demon worshiper.
Attack: two-handed, power attack, furious focus, +1 temporary enhancement, studied target
attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20 for damage: 1d10 + 6 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 6 + 2 = 23
GM Chyro |
You're standing up first..
AoO, mace vs prone: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 4 = 291d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Ting takes a (BONG) to the head, before attacking Hafshi.
Hafshi ducks aside, and Ting's sword hits air.
"Keep it down, bird brain."

"Could you stop being so bullhead stubborn? You want healing, then you come to me. Why you think everyone should have to stand up there and take burn damage is beyond explanation."

I'm guessing Las' teachings is a pass?
If not so, please share your plans. :)

Las Lajas |
Las will ready a UMD to use Ting's CLW wand on anyone that comes in reach and needs healing.
GM Chyro |
Ting Tang took that aoo for you.
If you wish to get down and past her, you'll have to roll a pretty good acrobatics. DC 27.
Las Lajas |
Past who? Is there some place Las can stand without getting burned and Brallenera can reach?
GM Chyro |
To go down the stairs, she has to get through Hafshi's square, since Hafshi is on the square where you go down the stairs/come up the stairs from.
If Brallenera does somehow manage that DC 27, she can move to the space between Joseph and yourself.
GM Chyro |
She could try, but Hafshi's CMD isn't piss.
Las Lajas |
How can Haifshi block the square that we've been using to go up and down the stairs? And if she's been blocking that square, then we'd have LOS on her, which you've never announced.
GM Chyro |
She jumped onto the square, you guys had gone down prior to her getting onto that square.
Unless you have x-ray vision and see through stone ceilings, your position doesn't allow you to see Hafshi.
Ting is fighting her, Joseph has some sight of her, now that she's this close.
I had thought the map was properly showing that.
Las Lajas |
Brallenera never left the upstairs. You can't see, but your comment suggesting the map shows anything clearly with regards to the stairs has me laughing.
GM Chyro |
Ting left...
Well at least i've done a positive by having you laugh. Though i wonder why the placement of people, which should give some indicator of vision, is worthy of laughing. >_>
But let's get on with killing Hafsi, and stopping this madness, shall we?
Las Lajas |
Brallanera was the first up the stairs. She moved forward and I don't recall her moving back. How would Haifsha get past Brallenera to stand on top of the stairs? How did Ting get back up there if she has been standing on the opening?
GM Chyro |
Originally, Brallenera occupied that square a couple of rounds ago.
She then stepped back, giving Hafshi space to jump across the lava, onto that square.
Ting is standing on the square to her right, and can thus attack her.
Las Lajas |
Okay, then Las should be able to go up the stairs and attack her without being in the burn area, correct?
GM Chyro |
Joseph would have to move, giving his healing activity on Ting Tang a break. If he does, then yes, with whatever you can attack her with from range.
Brallenera Thalkham |
Awww, you gimme an headache. Let's kill or be killed. It's simpler that way.
Getting back on her feet without being attacked, Brallenera strikes
Axe: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 16
dmg: 1d10 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 7
GM Chyro |
I know bottleneck sucks, remember the infernal vault?
The other teams's fight lasted 15 rounds, due to failing to hit.
Brallenera's axe misses Hafshi.

Mace: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 101d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Brallenera drops prone, but Hafshi's fury is hampering her aim.

Ting Tang
Brallenera & Las Lajas
Ting Tang |
seeing the evil lady go after Brallenera ting calls out as he swings the sword, "Leave tha Mistress o' Mayhem alone, wroight"
Attack: two-handed, power attack, furious focus, +1 temporary enhancement, studied target

Las Lajas
Brallenera
Las Lajas |
There is nothing Las can do, unless you have a suggestions.
Brallenera Thalkham |
Most people would stay down, or crawl to safety, for fear of getting hurt, of dying maybe.
Not Brallenera. She gets back on her feet, despite the pain and threat of getting whacked on the head by the priestess's mace, throwing herself face first in the danger in an act of foolish , last-ditch bravery.
Awwww.. I aient dead yet!
if she survives the AoO: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 29
Dmg: 1d10 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 10
GM Chyro |
Hafshi can't help notice the dwarfess getting up not matter what.
"Will you just stay down, in the dark lord's name?!"
AoO, vs prone: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 4 = 19Bump: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Brallenera takes the force somewhat less than another person would, but the mace is enough to cause her to take a nap.
Stabilize roll please.
Las Lajas is forced to remain below, with Joseph and Ting Tang occupying the steps above.

May i propose a bit of shuffling in the back rows?
Las Lajas |
How did that hit? You added +4 for Bra being prone and only got a 19? Bra's AC is 21.
GM Chyro |
My mistake for thinking her in rage, it's been a long day yesterday. My apology Brallenera.
I'll properly update in the morning.
Brallenera Thalkham |
Aww, I was still in rage (14 rounds per day, we were at 9th round I guess), as I included the Rage bonus (+2 to hit and dmg)in my attacks. So I'm should be at -5-8 (rage ends as KO)+4 (Guarded Life:While raging, if the barbarian is reduced below 0 hit points, 1 hit point of lethal damage per barbarian level is converted to nonlethal damage. If the barbarian is at negative hit points due to lethal damage, she immediately stabilizes.), Total= -9 HP but stable automatically
GM Chyro |
I recall you having raged a few round earlier in the devil fight, but you had 1 or 2 still left. Okay if you wish, -9 & stable.

Hafshi, round 10
Joseph uses his wand on Ting again.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
After that, he moves 5 feet back, to give some space for Las Lajas to get sight of Hafshi.
-------------
Hafshi (-25)
The firewall's heat deals 1d4 ⇒ 3 damage to Brallenera.
"Now for the next one!"
Trip, higher ground: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 = 16
Trip, higher ground: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 1 = 13
Mace, higher ground: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 1 = 191d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Despite her attempts, Hafshi fails to land a hit on Ting Tang.

Ting Tang & Las Lajas
Las Lajas |
Looks like I have one extract of Adhesive Spittle left? I think I only used one on Gali. If that's correct. Las will drink his spittle where he can take a move action and then use it on Hafshi. Las will also make sure he has his shortsword in his hand.
GM Chyro |
I don't recall any other spittle use.
I had noticed that spittle uses 2 standard actions to use, though.
Both the brewing and the attack are standard actions.
Las Lajas mixes a brew and holds it in his mouth. He moves past Joseph towards Ting, now getting los of Hafshi, drawing his sword as he goes.
Ting Tang
Las Lajas |
Both the brewing and the attack are standard actions.
Yes. You have to drink it the first round, then spit it the second.
@Ting - Las only needs LOS. No to hit roll
