This is described as a heavy door, which would suggest you'd need to exert your normal pressure to open, instead of a flick of the wrist.

How can people be so uncoordinated? I mean I cleared fifteen feet from a standing position how hard can five feet be when taken at a run?

And she makes it.

Break check maybe? Enlarge person lasts 3 minutes and Brallenera could still move through, it's just tight to fight in. In fact she could just reach across and climb through. And did we even try the nob? I realize it is a door and we're adventurers but really we know how to use doors properly--even though bars have those swingy ones.

Being enlarged would be a problem, imo.
As to squeeze through a medium door would require her to move through the trapped square, opposed to acro check as medium.

Hustavan is standing at the far end of the room, as Joseph makes his jump.
By some ill twist of fate, the weight of his equipment makes his jump go poorly, and he stands on the square.

While Inkita sees to Joseph's injuries, Shonne and Brallenera now have their sights on the new room's interior.
A half-moon-shaped cliff splits this room in half.
The lower side, along the south wall, is twenty feet below the higher side along the north wall.
The cliff is rather smooth, seemingly absent of handholds or any easy way to climb it. A solid, oaken door leads out of the room to the south, and two simple wooden doors lead out to the north and east.
The room smells vaguely like cooked meat.
The climb check for this 20 feet high wall is 25.
Aha! A set of hand supports, this will certainly reduce your climb check to 10.

Elven parkour. We have my rope from before but DC 10 is pretty low without any distractions. Still after Shonne dispatches the Balrog at the top she'll drop a line and offer aid.

Shonne notices nothing unusual when she got up the wall, aside from two doors, to the north and east.
A row of nine open coffins stretches from east to west across
the north wall of this room.
Each coffin is made from a dark
wood, painted black, and polished to a mirror finish.
The inside of each coffin is lined with green fabric and holds a ratty
blanket and musty pillow.
Boxes, crates, and barrels line the
south wall on either side of the simple wooden door there.
One of the coffins has the body of a male elf in it.
Heal DC 15: They died of poison.
The body of a male human lies next to another coffin.
If proceeding east, another perception please.
