SHONNE'S HIT POINTS, a 5 page paper
So I have Shonne reaching -10 hps during the last fight.
She's at -2 hps on round 2 before the called for Con check, which she failed. That brings her to -3 hp on round 3 and another failed check puts her at -4. (At this point you have her at -2 hps.) 5 more damage from fiery death, puts her at -9 hps. She fails another Con check just after that so, -10 hp.
"Such a nasty fight. Many thanks for the assistance. Let me save my friends here and then I can attend to your wounds as well." Inkita says to the two guards...

Before this fight started. After you moved past Brallenera, the dretch scraped you.
Then this round Caleena pewpew'ed you.
'Takes a shiny wand and points it at you'.
Unless activating an item is considered personal casting, she's not taking concentration checks....to my knowing. But i'm always open to learn.

I'm using the top right corner of the space Shonne's in for line of sight/effect. Basically she's shooting around the corner. On the flip side Caleena can still see Shonne. The elf just has concealment/cover from her. If Shonne were standing out in the open like Brallenera you could draw a line from a corner on Caleena's square and have it hit any corner on Shonne's square without intersecting any cover. Shonne however can do that from either of her square's two top corners - discounting whatever cover she might get from the charging dwarfess.
It's like any shoot out in a library except this time one of the shooters has homing bullets. :[

I forgot to take that in account:
L2-Guarded Life (Ex): While raging, if the barbarian is reduced below 0 hit points, 1 hit point of lethal damage per barbarian level is converted to nonlethal damage. If the barbarian is at negative hit points due to lethal damage, she immediately stabilizes.
As I was Raging just before the mage hits me with her wand of pewpewpewing for 6 Hp and I was at 5HP, I guess I'm stable now...

When Caleena's spell takes hold to stun Inkita, the dretch stands down and disappears.
The next round and onwards, Caleena quadruple times her way out of the crypt, her valuable papers on her.
When Inkita comes to again, there's still opportunity to heal Joseph, whose wounds are shallow, but not stable.
