Awww, I've got another idea. Songbird, Healer, get your backs to the wall.
Brallenera gets on her belly and crawl on the trap, using her shield to protect her face if possible
Don't know if I can use total defense or partial defense while crawling, but I guess being prone will mean the projectile-whatever that is-should pass over my head.

GM Chyro |

As our brave dwarfess crawls towards Shonne, who looks at her like an owner would at a new cute puppy approaching, she hears a click.
A magical acid bolt flies at Brallenera.
RT: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12Acid: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
Accursed magic traps.....
Acid damage for the next three rounds. 2d4 ⇒ (2, 3) = 52d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 52d4 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8
The trap is now disarmed.

apologies, had some legal issues to resolve with my ex. back now and catching up. many thanks for botting Inkita

GM Chyro |

Where to?
The wolf, seeing but not being approached, returns and wanders off.
1d2 ⇒ 21d4 ⇒ 3

![]() |

Awww, that hurts. Seemed a good idea at the time... can I get some healing before we continue?
21 points on damage on the first trap, max 32? Come on, that would have nearly put unconscious anyone but me, and killed perhaps. That is a bad omen. We'll all get killed again.

GM Chyro |

Well the other team had one suffer 18 from it too.

As our brave dwarfess crawls towards Shonne, who looks at her like an owner would at a new cute puppy approaching, she hears a click.
Assuming that owner was in middle-management and currently had a stomach complaint. Perhaps it was because even though Shonne was a ranger she still only just tolerated animals. Sure they could be useful but really most had too much of--what was that thing again--personality? That's it. Personality. Shonne hated that in coworkers too. It was just so bloody inefficient.
Then there was the fact that this particular puppy was, in Shonne's view, a bit slow in the obedience department as well a the repeatedly-getting-beaten-with-the-rolled-up-newspaper department which had it's offices right next door. Still the elf had to admit that no matter how much damage was inflicted upon the supposedly invulnerable rager, Brallenera always looked to to Shonne to have that inquisitive Collie look on her face. And Shonne guessed that was something. What, she wasn't quite sure.
"Done?"

GM Chyro |

As there is but one true danger down here, i'll just need to know the way you're headed.
Should you just head north first, you'll notice a large pit, 10ftx10ft, interrupting your path. Marked on the map.
So first to give me a general route, as the map's revealed, gets this ball rolling.
I'll roll the wolf's pattern from there.

![]() |

Shonne looks to the east from cover.
"The wolf looks to be trained to avoid the stair. A guardian perhaps? Does your friend perhaps know anything that could be of help?" Shonne nods toward Hustavan (wherever he is).

Cowering behind you guys, like the weakling that he is. :)
"I don't know....like i've told you, there was talk of traps having been set. I've not seen any wolves down here before." :(

Inkita casts Barkskin on the dwarf...
"I feel you may be needing this protection sooner rather than later..."

GM Chyro |

"I feel you may be needing this protection sooner rather than later..."
You might be on to something there.
Hustavan: "Your elf friend pointed north. Are you really looking to kill it? Couldn't we just, you know, avoid it? Or it adventurer's creed to kill anything evil?"

![]() |

"You are still alive are you not?"

GM Chyro |

O_o'....."I, take that...as a yes you want to kill it..."
Hustavan stays around the corner, however.
Alright, i'll roll for routes.
1d3 ⇒ 1
1d2 ⇒ 1
And you encounter it at the same spot the others met it.
Get ready, and keep your lights with you.
The team heads north, but instead of the trouble of jumping the pit, you take the corridor to the left. Niches with statues and coffins flank you, it has been a long time since anybody had properly maintained this place.
As Brallenera comes to a fork in the road, she looks right. Looking back at her, is the wolf.
Oh, and did i say wolf, i meant ZOMBIE WOLF. Grrrr :)

Anyone else have a light? Shonne can back track and get around the thing but doesn't want to leave anyone in the dark.

Shonne gives the bard a shove to get hir(?) attention. "light." Then she backtracks.
Two moves. the second at stealth speed cupping the wayfinder with one hand giving her some light to see by. She has her spear in her other hand.

Brallenera's axe hits for maximum impact, cleaving into the zombie lupine's shoulder.

Inkita targets the lupine zombie with a hex to affect their attack abilities.... and then moves to the nearest intersection to cover both the dwarf and Shonne in case she needs to move quickly to either one...

Joseph has his rapier out and steps forward, toward Brallenera to assist her in taking a stab at the beast.
Is that considered a hard corner where I am so I won't be able to hit the beast?

GM Chyro |

Hard corner, so +2 AC for it.
Wouldn't you also benefit from a light source?
You have a hard time seeing anything in darkness.

GM Chyro |

We'll take Joseph casts light on his rapier and steps forth.
Inkita hexes the zombie wolf.

GM Chyro |

When you see it up close like that, Joseph, i'd say it's enough to recognize...ZOMBIE.....as it's showing the same dead eyes and discolored skin as typical for them. :)

Since well, the tank's been KO'ed. :)
As Brallenera earlier mentioned a secret door.
You notice some inconsistancies on the floor behind it.
The ground looks unstable, and it would take an acro check to get safely past it.
DC 10 acro, from stationary, given the lack of the distance required for a running start.

by my count it should be 23 on the first. after the last mission Inkita bought a second wand with the loot so she still has a full healstick on her after this first one runs out. just stops her from getting anything else until she can get some more spells and hexes.

You can have at least 3 of those charges back (see spoiler above). Basically your first three application match what healing Shonne provided in repairing Brallenera. Basically, I picked up the wand mostly for her anyway. I just didn't know how we (everyone) wanted to divide the responsibility of keep the group weapon active.
PS In regards to the hp counter on the map page, Shonne healed up earlier.
Edit, I've updated my charges to reflect 3 more uses.
