I claim this new page for AMERICA!!!

I claim this second post of the new page for International Waters!

You're both too late.

I have already claimed it for BRITAIN, slaughtered 80% of the inhabitants and forced the remainder to enjoy trousers, cricket and lukewarm tea on pain of a jolly good spanking.

A jolly, good spanking?
What if I want a dour, bad spanking!?

Not that I can be spanked mind you...

Scarab Sages

Wherever there's a Closet, I have a claim (betcha didn't know about the one In International Waters - *it's a secret!*).

I, gory C.H.U.D., toil in mines.

Don't you go inserting commas into my friends.

*gulp*

We have... measures for dealing with those who deal in commas with no thought to the consequences...

, , , , , Chameleon.

So now we're changing al the dots for commas?

You come and go, you come and go

To be honest, these days I'm a bit more sedentary. The knees gave out back in '06, and what with my angina, it doesn't do to just be running around town like a man without convictions. Also, I have several convictions.

Ah Billy Ocean.

*scuttles over 80s pop references*

*Scries on thread*

Nothing to see here...

You miss billy ocean FF no need to cry... oh Scries nvm.

A simple mistake, and one I nearly made as well. However, at times like this, it is important to remember who you are dealing with, or rather, who wants you to be making deals with him, and since he is a Fiend, it is obvious that 1) making a deal with him is likely bad, and 2) that he wouldn't be crying.

I mean maybe Billy Ocean has a special place in ff hea... oh right ok fair enough.

And now i'll do a neat trick.

I drop everyone's jaws, it seems, by declaring i will have to look up, who this Billy Ocean is.
----------------------

Yup, way before my time.
Not the music genre i listen to either, to further the reason why i don't know of him.

You can all pick your jaws back up from the floor now.

I had to Google it, but I have to Google a lot of references that people make here.

Goo-what now? Why not just Ask Jeeves?

HE GLOFFY.

*burps*

That explained everything.

I too needed Wikipedia as a point of reference for Billy Ocean.

...
Though after looking at him, I do think I've heard a few of his songs.

Sovereign Court

That's quite interesting, although it's true that I have had to look up a few references on the internet, being a 90's kid I actually grew up listening to lots of songs from the 70's and 80's. Which is probably why I don't care for most of the songs that were released from the year 2000 onwards.

"Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact."

Queen released their first album in 1973, so that date is pretty accurate ;-D

There were many musical sensations in the 1980s. Billy Ocean & Queen were two of them.

This is, in fact, true, as evidenced by this list

I mean, hooked on a feeling is on that list, and honorable mentions should also include: Sweet home alabama, and Cat's in the cradle. Not every perenial classic is gonna show up on the top hundred list, unfortunately.

Arrh, a life on the Billy Ocean waves.

- Ahoy there, Billy {waves back}

A life on the LFG Roland C, which was an advanced German reconnaissance aircraft of WW1

A life on the Billy Ocean waves (again).

- Are ye drownin', Billy, bein' nibbled by prawns, or just bein' friendly?

Is the only life for meeeee.

I would comment on the nonsensical nature of that post, but it does somehow strangely fit into the spirit of this entire thread in it's lunacy.

It makes complete sense. It's all clear... if you could only see my cork-board with all the pins and color-coded yarn...

I'll pass, but thanks for the offer.

Oh my gosh! Johnny Depp Puppet! Huge fan! I loved you in 21 Sesame Street!

Silver Crusade

*waves*

Johnny DEPP!!!

Say, aren't you a puppet from a different pantheon?

Silver Crusade

*looks up at the sky, shrugs*

Johnny Depp?

Johnny Depp....

Yeah? Okay then... I guess you can stay for a while in that case.

Silver Crusade

*draws tiny cutlass, uses it to cut way out of yarn mess, then points it at Dr Pirate*

JOHNNY DEPP.

Here, let me help you with that...
*makes cutlass into a major artifact with vorpal qualities, and automatic crit threats every time you hit*
That should work better...

I just hope your a Heavy Metal kind of guy FF

That might be a bit heavy to my taste, i want to hear a song at least without the grunting.

I like, among other things,
Rock, Symphonic rock/metal (think Nightwish and the like), Lindsey Stirling (went to a concert of hers last friday), Alestorm, folk metal.

It varies.

I do like me some folk metal.i <3 me some korpikalani. how about Sabaton or dark tranquility?

Those are indeed musical genres.

You definitely made a post their.

I love most kind of metal but Symphonic Metal is one of my favorite genres.
