There's an ocean's worth of difference between preset vanilla characters and fully customizable characters spanning both player cores and a few supplements.
Fingers crossed that they have a built-in option for importing mini models.
I see the quote, thanks! "Fully" and "lots" leaves quite a range, so I still hope for specifics. Hopefully you can make your own party and without losing out on a bunch of content.

I thought this game was cancelled, since the Kickstarter page does not open. Not sure why though.
Is it based on Pathfinder Remaster?
By the way, wasn't Aeteperax in The Dragon's Demand a green dragon? It seems that there appears a black dragon in the teaser trailer.
This is based on remaster!
I have not played nor read the original adventure, but if they were a green dragon, that means that now they are a "horned dragon", and they can be pretty much any color now. :3

Does it also include mythic rules?
It goes up to level 8. So I'll go out on a limb and say no.
The original PF1 module this game is based on also ended at mid levels (6 or 7 I believe) and had no mythic stuff.
I'm more curious about the inclusion of archetypes, multiclass and otherwise. So far, we no nothing about which archetypes will be included - or if any will be included at all.

The number of ancestries is a bit low, but hardly a deal breaker. Really good selection of classes; all the core ones.
"Play as a dwarf, elf, gnome, goblin, halfling, human, or an orc."
"Choose their path as an alchemist, barbarian, bard, champion, cleric, druid, fighter, investigator, monk, oracle, ranger, rogue, sorcerer, swashbuckler, witch, or wizard."

What is it with people assuming that Kickstarter = Scam?

Ah, no Psychic or Kineticist? That's not a dealbreaker, but those two are my favorite class that have been released (otherwise, I'd include the Animist).
And yeah, not a bad pool of ancestries, just limited. You'd think kobold would be an option though.
...Do we know if there will be any Archetype/Versatile Heritage options?

Most likely they have been burned by one or know someone that has. Myself, there was the $1.4M Robotech Kickstarter that failed to produce the products promised before losing the license so that some items could never be made. So I don't think they are assuming it's a scam, but acknowledging that kickstarters can go south with the backers with nothing [or less than expected] to show for their money.

Because it has all the characteristics of a scam. You pay upfront and the promise of delivery is weak. The buyer takes all the risk. If you are with a reputable company - as in this case - then you can feel reasonably OK. But there is still no guarantee of quality. For example Kingmaker has a lot of good material in it which I have gotten value out of, but if what you were after was functional rules for establishing a town you would be disappointed.

Well, there's always stretch goals. Adding an additional class or two seems like a good stretch goal if the kickstarter goes really well.
That being said, it seems unlikely that Dark Archive or Secrets of Magic classes will be included since that would expose the game to the OGL which I assume nobody wants. Not sure where Gunslinger and Inventor land legally once GnG is remastered.
And yeah, not a bad pool of ancestries, just limited. You'd think kobold would be an option though.
They might be avoiding anything that's not entirely humanoid to reduce their work load a bit. Fitting armor pieces and boots onto an ancestry with a tail and talons is probably more work than just resizing it to fit a halfling.
...Do we know if there will be any Archetype/Versatile Heritage options?
No info on that so far. Though given the vast popularity of archetypes in PF2, I would be very surprised if you don't at least the multiclass archetypes for the included Core Classes.

I really hope this gets funded. Ossian made good campaigns for Neverwinter Nights and got shafted by Atari at every turn. It would be nice to see what they can do when they aren't being undermined by a license holder.
Me too. I know Luke Scull (lead designer/writer) - he's a fellow author from the same city as me, and since he's a mate, I obviously want it to get the green light. It's over 50% now which I think puts it on course but means it could go either way.
I've played a ton of D&D but never tried Pathfinder. But pretty sure I can handle it in a game.

They've said they will accept late pledges after the campaign and might shuffle around some stretch goals depending on backer Feedback.
So in theory every stretch goal might still be on the table. Be sure to make your voices heard! I assume they'll do polls via their upcoming discord or Kickstarter updates.
I'm really really glad we've got the multiclass archetypes in the bag! During the AMA they've also mentioned that they might add those archetypes to NPCs and enemies. So don't be all surprised when a barbarian chucks a fireball your way!

The extras I took for my digital deluxe edition (two dice sets and the gold coin) count just as much towards hitting the end goal as everyone else. ;) But, seriously, thank you to everyone for hitting that particular mark. Archetypes are great.

I think this game is going to have some very nice immersive sim qualities or at the very least allow for some very varied encounters and solutions.
They are letting characters jump, climb, and create ways to climb when you are normally can't. And then eventually players will be flying around. I also believe one of the lead designers said (when asked) that they are making the game heavily system based so if you manage to get somewhere that would be incredibly unlikely, that the game will be able to account for it.
I wouldn't be surprised if maybe they get inspired by the Make an Impression/Attitude systems to do a basic disposition system like Morrowind or Oblivion.
I'm not expecting Baldurs Gate 3 or Tears of the Kingdom levels of systemic driven gameplay: but just having a basic generic persuasion system, a stealth system, spells, and vertical movement, should make this game at least move it towards the level of design.
As opposed to a modern Bioware game or CD Project game which go for a traditional scripted game design.
