Is anyone else seeing the Pathfinder 2e Bestiary 2 showing up as both the book and the pdf in their subscriptions? Did I miss something about the pdf no longer being free with the subscription?
I don't have a link I'm afraid, but that's been noted by Paizo as a display error.
There hasn't been any change in policy and it shouldn't actually be charged. Keep an eye on your authorisation charge later this week or early next and get onto CS if it seems to be screwy.

The special edition subscription doesn’t seem to have made it into the monthly threads yet.
FWIW, it wasn’t there last time either but shipped out just fine, so I suspect it’s just that these are cut and pasted and haven’t yet caught up to include the existence of the new sub.
Yeah, normally I wouldn't be worried but there is the possibility of publishing issues right now.
In February, the GMG deluxe did get its own entry on the releases thread. That's why I'm double checking. :)

Hi folks,
I've updated the thread to include the Special Edition Rulebooks subscription for clarity.
The Bestiary 2 PDF will be complimentary with subscription purchases of the Bestiary 2 or Special Edition Bestiary 2 as usual, and you should see the issue of the PDF displaying in your subscriptions clear up before we begin order creation!

I have the subscription and I don't see anything in my side pocket for the Bestiary 2. Also, did the Absalom guide get pushed back?
Yeah, the Absalom book has been postponed indefinitely. Heartbreaking because I am dying to read it! It might only be partially related to the Rona, though. None of the other offerings have seen delays any longer than a month at this point, so there might be other factors involved here.

The good news is my order spawned, and the three things (Bestiary 2, AP #154, AP #155) all were included. And the Bestiary 2 digital charge was not, so that's wonderful.
Still, a couple important things and a question:
1. The bug is still there that prevents the system from pulling the full order amount (tax included) from the store credit. I don't think it will be a problem for my order this time around, as the card I put on file for my subscriptions has more than enough to cover the shipping charge. But I thought it important you know that particular bug still needs squashed.
2. While I'm thrilled the order itself spawned and appears to be playing nice with my card, my three book order was split up into two separate shipments. Instead of including all three books for the $8+ in shipping that was foreshadowed, it sent out two books with a $7.89 shipping fee as one shipment and the other, singular book with a $5.65 shipping fee.
My question is...Was this an oversight, or is this just the new normal with shipping? It added nearly $5 toward my shipping cost, with three books totaling $13.54 in shipping and handling. That seems...excessive.

I received an email stating that the next issues in my subscription of Pathfinder (#155) & Starfinder (#28) adventure paths were pending. However, for the first time in the years that I have had these subscriptions, my bill states that the two books will be shipped separately and I will be charged double for shipping. I checked my status on the subscriptions and I have never changed any shipping instructions. Please ship my subscriptions in one package and please alter my bill to reflect this change. Thanks.

It's probably an oversight as my shipment contains the same items and is in one package for $7.26. Unless you're an international customer?

I remember reading somewhere that the split up shipping was "safer," but I don't recall an explanation for how or why. I'm hoping as things return to normal this too will revert because it's certainly an extra expense. If it's keeping warehouse employees safer I'm okay with it as a temporary measure.

I’m an international customer and normally my shipping fee is around $7, but this month my shipping fee is $37, surely this must be an oversight.
Normally your shipping is just softcovers, there's a hardcover this month and these are fugly expensive to ship overseas via USPS.

I understand what you mean but for instance back in Feb my shipping fee for gamemastery guide and softcover AP came to $5.74, $5.63 in March and April for just softcover APs, and now this month for bestiary 2 and AP $37.80

I all fairness, I jokingly said that last month. Regardless, this is my third month of "APs that used to ship together that are split in two packages with separate shipping" and I'm ready for it to stop.

Separate from the split shipping issue, I had an issue trying to start a subscription. I had the SE Bestiary 2 in my side cart, because I thought there was a post about how starting a subscription would automatically move it, but the second email now has a charge for the subscription and the non-sub instance of the item. I've also added the issue to my order post about a separate issue with an order from the pdf sale.

My email looks good (no charge for the B2 PDF).
but for what it's worth, I had a second authorisation process today and whereas the first was fine, today's shows an additional Bestiary 2 special edition.
That was reflected in the second credit card charge, but isn't showing as that in my order history.

Will say that my order for this month looks good, but the upcoming subscription shipment with the spell cards says 4 shipments and will cost over 20 bucks.... feels off. Will bring that up when those side carted items get turned into a pending order though.

I have seen a few people in some groups im in say they have gotten their shipping emails.

Well, I saw the message that they were looking into split shipping issues, so I waited for my two shipments to be combined. Today, I got two emails that my two subscriptions were shipped separately, so in fact nothing was done and I was charged double shipping. At this point, messages posted in this forum don't seem to reach customer service at all. There is no reason to ship two paperback books to the same address on the same day in two separate packages.

Same here. I understand that Paizo is struggling to keep operating during the pandemic, and that customer service is likely overwhelmed with trying to stay on top of everything, but I'm beginning to worry that this is going to be a situation where the only response we ever receive for the needlessly inflated shipping costs is "there was a bug in our procedure, sorry," rather than refunding us the money lost.
