Will it be possible to start a subscription with the deluxe editions of the 2nd edition books? I'd like to do the subscription to get the free PDFs but I also want to get the deluxe editions.
No deluxe book is part of subscription.

If you want the pdfs of the 2nd ed core rulebook and bestiary, you need to subscribe to the basic editions of those books. If you want the deluxe editions, you'll need to order them separately. Then you'll have a "deluxe edition", a "basic edition", and a pdf, all of the same books. Don't want the basics? Ebay 'em.

I've still got a problem with start date. I try to select starting with the Lost Omens World Guide, and it keeps reverting to start with Druma, Profit and Prophecy. The same is true of the adventure path line.

I had the same issue. It appears to be a glitch. I emailed customer support and they took care of the issue with my subscriptions.

I'm still waiting for an "accessories" sub.
Sara Marie posted on the July 2019 release thread that "Paizo is working on wrapping up getting the new Pathfinder Accessories subscription up on the website." Targeting June 24th as a possible start date.

I was really hoping the 2E Pathfinder subs would work like the Starfinder subs, where if you subbed to 4 lines, they would throw in the Pathfinder Society scenarios subscription for free. As it is, I plan to sub to the RPG line, Campaign Setting line, and AP line anyway. I've also subbed to Modules to see Fall of Plaguestone, may or may not keep that one up. But an Accessories sub for me would only happen if I got scenarios out of it: otherwise I'm happy to just buy the GM screen and condition cards a la carte.

I posted an update to the above mentioned thread which I think answers most of these questions. For ones not answered there I can answer them here.
The deluxe versions are not part of any subscription. If you want them you will need to purchase them separately. Since they are not part of a subscription there is not a PDF associated with the purchase.
We are aware of the issue with incorrect starting items for some subscriptions being switched to in the cart and the tech team is investigating. If this happens to you go ahead and submit the order (we don't charge for anything until it ships) and ping customer service. We can get the item cancelled and the correct one generated.

Sorry to duplicate, not sure which is the better place to post this.
Diego, Not subscription related.
I had called Customer Service and provided some information here. However, for those who have preordered the World Guide before it was delayed with other items that are not delayed, has there been a decision regarding sending the non-delayed items? I hope that I don't have to wait for my 2E items until the World Guide is shipped.

I already replied in the other thread. As a general rule if you want a CS person to see something it is best to post in the CS forums. We sometimes read other threads but outside of moderating a thread we're really only likely to see something outside of the CS forums if we're reading threads in our own, off the clock, time or someone points us to the post.

Question re Pathfinder Advantage. Do I need to subscribe to the Adventure Path first and then start up new subscriptions to the other products to get the 15% discount? Or, if I order all at the same time, will the discount be applied?
In the past, as long as your other stuff ships at the same time as your first subscription AP, it has gotten the discount. However, afaik, there has still not been official word if anything is changing about Pathfinder Advantage with second edition.

Steve Geddes wrote:Thanks!I don't know for sure, but I don't think they do GenCon discounts.
Subscribing and getting the 15% off that way (then collecting it at GenCon) is probably the way to go.
More specifically, subscribing to the Adventure Path and getting the Paizo Advantage Discount for 15% off other items as well as the 30% of the AP and free PDFs of all subscription items is the way to go. This [EDIT]also gets may or may not get you a 15% off discount on other applicable items you pick up at the Paizo booth.
Paizo has not offered any other discounts at past Gen Cons.

Are they planning any subscription changes in regard to Paizo Advantage? So far, I have seen no evidence that they will be changing the Pathfinder side of things in the slightest.
So far, Paizo staff have not answered direct questions about whether Pathfinder Advantage will stay the same. Witness here:
Will Pathfinder Advantage discount apply to new PF2 subscriptions?
Specifically, I'd like to get the Core Rulebooks, World Guide, Adventure Path, and GM Screen at release. Ideally, they would all have PDFs attached (I understand that is still in the air) and would have the discount applied.
Any guidance on how to go about that, or would wait and see be most appropriate?
Wait and see is probably your best bet. Not saying that to be cryptic, but there are a few tech issues that need to get sorted out to make sure subs work the way we want them to work, and not all of those solutions have been solved yet. :)
As Franz says, PDFs have now been confirmed, but there has been no explicit communication about Pathfinder Advantage. It could stay the same, or it could change to be like Starfinder, where you have to subscribe to more than one line to get the discount, or something else entirely. But they're running close to the deadline to tell us.

And there it is! Awesome. I appreciate the grandfather clause.

Looks like I got what I wanted! Now time to figure out what subscriptions I should keep. Not going to lie, I only picked up Starfinder maps/pawns/accessories to get the free SFS scenarios. Now that I only need 6 total, I should probably slim down. Though that whole "Charter Supersciber" tag is pretty sweet...

So, as someone who has Paizo Advantage both ways, the answer I am waiting for is which subscriptions I can cancel without losing Paizo Advantage.
I am more confused than ever. It mentions you get Pathfinder advantage if you have the the Adventure Path subscription.
It also says:
To gain the Paizo Advantage, mix and match any combination of 4 qualifying subscriptions. With 6 or more qualifying subscriptions, subscribers will receive both the Pathfinder Society AND the Starfinder Society scenarios!
So do we need the Adventure Path Subscription OR any combination of 4 subscriptions?

Afaik: The old (1e) system was that you get Paizo Advantage if you subscribe to the APs. If you have Paizo Advantage already from this, you can maintain it from now until you cancel the subscription. You can still get this version if you subscribe to the APs using the last of the Tyrants Grasp AP as your starting product, before the 3rd of July.
The new (2e) system is that you get Paizo Advantage if you subscribe to at least 4 subscription lines, and then you also get (your choice of) either the Pathfinder Society or Starfinder Society scenarios for free (or both of them, if you subscribe to 6 or more of the subscription lines).

As a suggestion, it might be time to prune some old forum posts from some of the subscriptions' product discussion pages.
It's confusing to click on the link for the "new" Adventures subscription and see some posts about Gamemastery subscriptions, and monthly module release schedules...because they're all from 2007.
These really old discussions are confusing at best and actively misleading at worst.
(And obviously at some point the page for the subscription itself needs to be updated to change the names and whatnot, but I assume that's on the giant to-do list).
Also, it's pretty neat that Paizo doesn't regularly go through and remove old discussions, blog posts, and the like from the website. I hate it when I find links to articles or whatever on other websites and they literally go nowhere.

The subscriptions page:
https://paizo.com/store/subscriptions
Still says "As a bonus, when you sign up for to Pathfinder Adventure Path or four physical Starfinder subscriptions you'll qualify to gain access to the Paizo Advantage, which grants you a 15% discount on most products available on paizo.com!"
From what was posted above it sounds like PathFinder advantage will now require 4 subs also, and not just the Adventure Path Subscription?
I am trying to start with 2E Pathfinder and get the advantage on the rulebooks, but the comment about it not being available until the first one ships makes we wonder on the timing?
"Qualifying subscribers automatically receive their Paizo Advantage discount once their first subscription item ships, and only as long as their subscriptions remain active."

David knott 242 |

For example, if one of your qualifying subscriptions is the Campaign Setting/Lost Omens one and you start it with the Lost Omens World Guide, that subscription won't count with your Gen Con subscriptions because nothing from that subscription has shipped yet.
People with Starfinder subscriptions would be very familiar with this issue, especially if they signed up at a time when there was no way to get any item (past or future) from a given subscription that month.

If you already have an AP sub for PF1, you only need the AP subscription; it's grandfathered. Even if you only sub to the last volume of Tyrant's Grasp (#144, which will ship with the first 2e AP volume), it counts as long as you're subscribed by July 3rd.
See here:
Current Pathfinder Adventure Path subscribers keep their 15% discount. If you ever cancel your subscription, you need to meet the new criteria for the Paizo Advantage to get the discount.
It’s not too late! If you subscribe to the Pathfinder Adventure Path before July 3, and receive Pathfinder AP #144 as part of your subscription, you’ll lock in the 15% Paizo Advantage discount!
Otherwise, yeah, because of the delay in the Lost Omens line, it can't count as one of your subs at release. You'd need 4 of the following 5: Rulebook, AP, Adventure, Accessories, Maps. Or you could start your Lost Omens sub with Druma, which will ship with the first 2e stuff.

Thanks! I changed AP back to 144 so i’d be grandfathered.

Another subscription question.
I am now subscribed to 5 subscriptions. Do I get Pathfinder Society Scenarios free? I don't have to subscribe to that right, it just happens?
Happened automatically on mine, but I believe I had to go into my account options to select which society (PF vs SF) to receive.

As Nyarlathotep says, you need to choose between PFS and SFS options from “manage my subscriptions” on your my account page.
It will only be granted once four of the subs are active - meaning they’ve each shipped you at least one item.
