I've seen their timestamps be an hour or two off, but it's probably just a wrinkle that they're still working out with the new site layout.
It's not even a particularly bad wrinkle, as it doesn't break the page or anything.
It’s going to be in Pacific time. If you’re in a different time zone, it’ll be off by the difference.

No, I mean that I see the time actually change by an hour or two in either direction when I load up the page, independent of how much time has actually passed. Like the Signal of Screams blog post would say that it came out at 3:00, then say that it came out at 5:00, and it is currently telling me that it came out 7:00.
Then again, time servers are weird, and I might just be getting bounced off of something by a crappy internet service provider. Their site may be giving me inconsistent information because it is getting inconsistent requests. Who knows? Not me, and it's not really important.
What is important is the countdown to the alchemist. [joke]If I don't see what it's transmuted into, I'm going to explode![/joke]

Tumor familiars are now a mandatory class feature. And they sing.

Fast Bombs is still a tax.
You have to spend a “discovery” for mutagen, and it’s not available at first.
Healing others uses up their resonance, and you’re healing a smaller amount on a greater hitpoint pool.
Those seem like things likely to annoy people seeing them for the first time.

Yes. The next freakout will be about the leaked sketch of a goblin iconic. Let me get my popcorn...

Sounds about right, barring something new that we can't really predict.
You never really know what might provoke a reaction, but I'm sure we can defuse the situation and extract something useful from this experiment.Or it will mutate out of control, take on a life of it's own, and rampage through the countryside until a brave band of plucky moderators can tame the beast.
Both would be interesting.

How do we know that already? And how do we know today's an alchemist blog?

We'll let you think about that and see you again here on Monday, when we talk about another class elves' Intelligence points toward: the alchemist!

Oh please please let this be the case! Mutagen has always been a main reason I could never bring myself to play an alchemist. It just runs so counter to what I think of as an alchemist. Making it easier to trade away would be awesome.
Also, I hope fast bombs are totally not a thing. Bombs should be slow (like 1/round) and do a ton of damage. Juggling pistols and chucking tons of bombs just break the immersion for me.

The Alchemist thing was mentioned at the bottom of the Dwarf & Elf blog...

You're both correct.
The goblin iconic alchemist will have a tumor familiar.
And that tumor familiar will have port-wine stain familiar.
And the stain familiar will have a wart familiar.
And the wart familiar will have a halfling familiar.
And all 5 together gain skill bonuses and unlocks on Perform (Barbershop Quintet) checks.

It’s been covered a couple places (a couple podcasts and dev posts, I think). Alchemists will not be pseudo-casters anymore.

The elimination of spell-like extracts was mentioned by somebody who participated in a convention playtest. Others have already provided the quote about an alchemist blog today.

Thankfully, being a caster is also no longer necessary for the thing that alchemists are supposed to do.
Making things that do stuff.
Magic item crafting is now available to anyone that wants to learn how to do it.

Crud, I can’t find the specific post with a hint to that effect. Don’t take that one as certain, but the demo game Alchemists didn’t seem to have mutagens. It might just be one of the things you can whip up later, rather than a class feat.
The class feat lets you pull out two bombs with one action, for 2 bombs/round instead of 1.5 bombs/round.

On the current Know Direction livestream, Jason just mentioned that the next blog is Friday and it will talk about Gnomes & Halflings. And maybe some more about ability scores and how they're generated.
Generally, he says they're guaranteeing Mondays and Fridays and trying for some Wednesdays, but Wednesdays will be used more for art and stuff. (I've noticed the PFS playtest blogs dropped on Wednesdays, so I guess that's the "spare" slot.)

Thanks for giving us the short version, Joe. It'll be nice to see a little of how they plan to take these races to new heights.
