Well, I'm automatically more interested in this one purely because Crystal's the boss on it. I haven't read any of her work I haven't liked, so since I don't have great expectations of Strange Aeons I'm happy to hear this.
Personally, what I'd like to see is another trek across the world, but starting in Southern Garundi and ending on the Crown of the World. Because fighting from the burning deserts to the frozen remnants of the pre-Azlant civilization in the frozen wastes, and going through the usual areas at mid-levels, somehow appeals to me a great deal.
Plus I really wanna know about the folks around the whole Azlant thing happened. And snowcaster elves seem better than regular elves. 'Cos they sound cooler.
...you may bow before your Pun Lord.

Or bow. (The one that rhymes with drow.)
Or bow. (The one that doesn't rhyme with drow.)
The really important question:
Drow like dough
or
Drow like now
Obviously the second one is the correct way - however you could run for president with the quote above.... covered either way....

Or phantom-powered dreadnought-launching mountains. Now admittedly, that last one is several words. But you get my point.

I can't favorite this enough!

I have woken screaming from dreams wherein there is no adventure path after Strange Aeons, because the return of the Great Old Ones brings about the end of the multiverse. After Strange Aeons, there are only board games and one off modules set in pocket dimensions that have yet to devolve into madness-- pocket dimensions whose reality is only evanescent, and whose doom haunts their inhabitants' nightmares.

Dang that would be a sweet module...*pipe dream time* after Strange Aeons, have it be one in which the Elder Gods have already won, and the PCs are fighting in a bleak, hopeless alternate future Golarion. Sort of "Days of Future Past"-ish.

So the party starts as cloud-herders, wrangling the clouds and chasing away evil thunderheads infected with parasites their first contact is a bard who uses a bow with the tension of a composite, but he design of a re-curve as a weapon. This bard trumpets out tales as his perform check while bowing at court. His instrument is a plastic vuvuzela.

So clearly the next AP involves Bill the Cat. I had been hoping, since Berke Breathed resurrected Bloom County last summer.

You know, Old School could refer to a Conan-esque theme. That would make the Land of the Linnorm Kings camp happy.
Or, Old School could refer to a more Tolkien epic Good vs. Evil theme - which could be far reaching across much of the Inner Sea region - bringing together many races to stand against an army of Zon-Kuthon. So Nidal building armies and making an alliance with Belkzen to cause chaos and destruction.
Or it could be Dragons, good and evil, much akin to a Dragonlance theme.
I think I could enjoy any such "Old School" AP's.
But one day, now that there are occult classes Jalmeray and Vudra would be just as fun as an end to end Tien-Xia.

Lots of dungeon crawling?
Mummys Mask, Giantslayer, Iron Gods, all those have lots of dungeon crawling.
Maybe some people need to overcome some cultural aversions to see how good some of the stuff is.
And how more classic than Giantslayer can things get? Just insert a dragon to slay there? Or do you want something like 1E, where taking the wrong direction at a crossroad gets you killed instantly?
Hells Rebells is a pretty classic intrigue campaign btw, centered in one city and a perfect match for vigilante stuff.
Mummys Mask features one awesome dungeon after another.
Iron Gods is very dungeon happy as well.
Don´t like the theme of that stuff? No tech, no Osirion? Just leave it away or change it.
And i think Conan is a way better fit for east Casmaron.
In truth, we need more Tian Xia though!

I'm thinking we're going a bit more traditional after Hell's Rebels, Vengeance and Aeons. Thinking lots of wilderness and dungeon crawling. Maybe Arcadia finally? Or even finally a return to Darkmoon Vale!?
I'm starting to hear traditional as boring. In my opinion, Giantslayer was a sort of knee jerk response to Iron Gods. Or to put it another way, it was Paizo's way of saying "listen, we know that the sci-fi elements of Iron Gods didn't appeal to everyone, and a lot of you are concerned that we're straying a little too far from our roots, so here: Giantslayer! It's super traditional."
Strange Aeons will be another weird one, based as it is on the (yellow) king of weird fiction. I just hope Paizo doesn't over correct again afterwards. Because as much as I loved Iron Gods, Giantslayer just fell flat to me.
For what it's worth though, and to contradict myself a bit, I think Giantslayer could have been great. My problems with it mostly revolve around the utter similarity of the third, fourth, and fifth adventures. Shattered Star and Hell's Rebels were pretty solidly traditional, and I loved those.
So who knows.

Garund? A new war between Holomog and Geb that the PC's are caught up in... something in that vein? Actually I'm not fully versed on the lore but could be interesting.
If Paizo did an AP about the war between Holomog and Geb, I think I would have to eat my dice...
(Not because it wouldn't be a totally cool AP, but because it would be such a Nex-tease).

I wish Giantslayer did something interesting like make the final boss a unique earth based(maybe female) Titan that many thought was some kind of unknown type of giant.
It would be cool to see an AP give us a variety of terrains from plains, forest, mountains, to deserts, arctic tundra, and even underwater. Also having some unusual dungeons like a misty magically strengthened hedge maze, an anti-magic crystal cavern, a mansion warped by the first world, a temple to a forgotten fertility goddess that is infused by positive energy, a maze like city inside a giant tree, a floating island home to an imprisoned and insane (maybe earth) kineticist, an abandoned mine that has become highly magnetic, etc.

Yeah, I don't know why Giantslayer turned out like it did. #3, 4, and 5 could all be summarized as...
-First, enter a sandbox-type area with a large, widespread giant population. That would be Minderhal's Valley, Skirgaard, and Ashpeak, respectively.
-Next, mess with/sabotage/kill the giants in the immediate area, which allows the PCs to then...
-Finally penetrate the main stronghold (Cathedral of Minderhal/Skirkatla's Crypt/Domain of the Fire Giant Monarchs) and, after a heavy slog, kill the Big Bad.
It just felt like the same adventure three different times. I know for a fact that Paizo could have made these three adventures way more unique and diverse, and your ideas would have been plenty cool. I just don't get the repetitiveness. Because seriously, the idea of a giant tyrant with a floating castle and an army of giants and dragons? That could have been so amazing.
We'll just have to trust that Crystal knows that traditional doesn't need to also mean humdrum and monotonous. Based on the stuff she's done in the past, I am optimistic.
Why wouldn't Hell's Rebels count as "traditional"?
I think you misread. I said that Shattered Star and Hell's Rebels WERE traditional, and I still really liked them.

Hm, aside from going Mythic, Wrath was pretty traditional too. Fight demons, on both defense and offense, and their allies is classic stuff, and I absolutely loved it.
Aeon is going to be the setting-weirdest path since Iron Gods*, and I'm looking forward to that.
Afterwards... I'd be into an 'foreign lands' one. Exploring Arcadia, or being entirely set in a foreign land (dun like the 'spend multiple parts just getting there' stuff. If there's travel to a place, make it part one *only*!). Something like tackling Azlant would be cool, but since we're sure to get Runelords again pretty soon, I don't see two ancient-history ones in a row.
You know, considering he's something of the 'big bad' of the setting, there's an odd lack of vs Rovagug paths.
*as opposed to theme-weirdest, which is Hell's Vengeance, or rules-most-unusual, which is Wrath
