Sorry to impede on this OOC but I have a question for GM_Todd. I play Fealix in DM Mathpro's Everflame campaign. You kind of disappeared on us and I was just checking to see if you were still with us. If you need to, you can get to the thread from Conrad's posts tab under his profile. Or are you dropping out?
Hmmmm.....that 6-hour "the server is down, blame the goblins" trouble today really caught me short. Making a backup copy of Petry's profile page just in case, I wouldn't want to have to re-type all of that all over again.
I'm wondering, is there anything we can do to improve party morale? Or is it something we have to figure out?
Well, there's a little bit you can do to figure it out, but mostly, something needs to happen (or be made to happen) to lift the spirits.
I'm pretty sure that we are dealing with a El Chupacabra. Watch out for the spines.
Having read Larry Niven's science fiction book "Grendel" about evolving species, are you sure that these dimorphoron don't turn into one after several years?
Can Chupacabra fly? (Maybe they're symbiotes with the dimorphodons...the dimorphodons fly them around to hunt for goats, and get the bodies after the Chupacabra has drained the blood.)

She is mayor of Sandpoint and he is the sheriff. It's pretty compelling stuff.
If they are brother and sister it is even more compelling, family incest drama is the most compelling you can get.
I kind of feel sorry for Kendra and Belor, then--they're probably stuck somewhere on the Crown of the World, waiting for the party to get there.

Hurricane Irene was a non-event at my place in central North Carolina. I am ready - hand-crank flashlights, hand-crank radios, generator on standby with fuel ready, cell phone and land line, lots of canned food and ready-to-eat meals, etc. And I didn't need any of it. In fact, the power never went off today until we had some heatstorms pass through.
I live in northern VA and the power is still out. I've been staying with the girlfriend in southern MD. I work in a school and we didn't have the first day of school today.
I really wish all of you affected by Irene the best of luck and hope you're getting through it well and healthy and with your homes intact.

When we last left our intrepid castaways they had surrounded the charmed last survivor of the failed cannibal attack and were attempting to communicate with him. My own awesomely clever use of Google Translate to represent various learned languages was ruined by the apparent pause in gameplay as well as a few last-minute action questions.

Looks like it's past time to stick a fork in this one. Too bad! We had a quality DM, a good mix of characters, and a lot of excellent RP.
Sadly, unless GM Todd comes back with a vengeance and manages to gather all his players back together, it doesn't look good for our castaways. Pity. GMs of GM Todd's class are unique. In fact, out of the three PbP campaigns I was playing in, two have gone silent. Finding a GM who's amiable to allowing psionic characters is ultra-rare for me.

Not many GMs on the boards like to use 3PP, and that's where psionics are right now. I've been impressed with the work that DSP did with their update, but it's still a non-Paizo rulebook that someone needs to buy if they want to include psionics.
Actually Dreamscarred Press' Psionics Unleashed psionics is now part of the OGC PRD, so you don't have to buy the book. GMs can also double-check their psionic players with it. But yes, too many GMs dislike non-core concepts.
ATTENTION PLAYERS
GM Todd's been gone now for more than 30 days, going on 60 days. My other PbP game stalled out as well. I'm about ready to GM my own Serpent's Skull - and open it up to ALL 3-party products.
I'm going to give the players from this game first call. In respect to GM Todd, you'll have to make up new characters - or separate names with the same stat rolls, I'll allow that. I'll wait a while for replies, and post 27-28 October on the Recruitment section. That will also give me time to buy the book.
The game will be our second attempt at Serpent's Skull. I am not going anywhere. The goal is to finish the AP. I can't play my psionic character since I'm the GM, but I'll allow psionics, and would love to see "outside the box" players. Any race. Any combo.
I would like immediate feedback / opinions on this. I've been waiting and waiting for 1.) another Serpent's Skull, and 2.) another GM to allow psionics, and I've disappointed in both for too long at Pazio.com.
