I'm ok with discord. Knowing me I will be a little inconsistent in posting until I get it worked into my routine. That is just how my brain works but I'm a pretty consistent poster so I won't slow things down.

My PC will have served under Grognar (battle oracle dual cursed), my PC who completed Rise of the Runlord and his son is Erond Niroden (evangelist cleric of Erastil), help reform Sihedron and must live with that.

The first draft of a quick character sketch.

I'm going to flip around some of the obvious assumptions of the trait because that is more fun. In this case, the scion is the father rather than the more obvious son. He was a former low-ranking military officer who enlisted more because of a family tradition than any more noble reason. This took him away from his family for long stretches of time. In his mind, this resulted in his son becoming bookish and obsessed with Thassilonian archology. Though he gets along with his son, his son's immense magical power, responsibilities in the Pathfinder society, and fame make him the one who is now rarely around. Cats in the cradle and the silver spoon. Hector, nearly sixty, has spent the last ten years in Varisia learning Thassilonian and reading about the Runelords trying to understand his son better. After retiring from his post, he bought a small cabin just outside of Roderic’s Cove though he is in the city nearly every day for this thing or that. Or more likely to chat with people. Hector seems to live off the land and odd jobs primarily and lives a simple existence...

Hector Niroden (Nature Fang Druid) with his Ron the firepelt cougar (Ron is short for Erond).

I'm working on finalizing a charter sheet.

Starting GP: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

I think I'm going with scion of legend for my campaign trait. It works with the character concept I'm putting together.

I'm fine with skipping the BP. That said I think it is an amazing rule in concept. For me, the problem was not the idea but the having to ask about every feat. If it was 'look at these guides the feats cost 2 points per star" then it would be great. As it is, it is too much work and I don't find the rating to power particularly predictable with either the general consensus on the forums or the value in optimization threads so I have never been able to guess the values correctly.

I have no issue with a bloodrager wrecking house. Actaully I'm very happy to not be the primary damage dealer! I have to buff, make the diplomacy rolls, heal, tank, cover stuff like DR and ghost, and still do some damage so I can't be amazing at any one thing. Later I can use spells to be better cater my role to the situation but low levels get tight.

No need to defend RP decisions. I get where they are coming from. It always becomes clear in the RP. But, before anyone makes a decision, as a GM I have to start to think about what will happen next. I think it will likely go 'this' way then it goes 'that' way. I was only trying to express my surprise, not any criticism. Apologies if that did not come across. Some player zig, others zag, you all zog on me sometimes and that is a good thing.

Generally with a high Wis druid. You would go small for wild shape and become unhittable then rain down terror from the sky. It is a build that can hit high 20s AC and fly an level 4 long before most other build have the option. For this natural spell, spell focus, spell pen (but you have Sr no options), and a rod of persistent spell. A third level persistent spell has the DC of approximately a 7/8th level spell. They are a steal at 9000. Bouncing is amazing if you have good single target spells again rod is best.

You have respectable but not fully optimized strength. This mean accuracy not damage will be the obstacle to overcome. Magic Fang helps with this. Typically an animal companion would as well. But you have a bardy cleric in the party and a sorcerer. So your going to want inspire courage + heroism + lots of natural attacks.

If I wanted offense I would go Mammoth Hide (ISC) armor + pouncing dire tiger + inspire courage + heroism + air walk + Death from Above (Combat).

Add in Anaconda’s Coils to crank the damage more. If you find you are hitting easily then add power attack.

Survival kit is +2 to all survival checks to get along in the wild, deal with severe weather, keep from getting lost, avoid natural hazards such as quicksand, and predict the weather. Plus it comes with flint and steel, a mess kit, two waterskins (enough to hold water for 1 person for 1 day), very basic maps showing major landmarks, and a small utility knife. One thing about the items you just received. They are of very different values based on books price but they are all around the same strength in my opinion (the most expensive might be the weakest). For that reason, they have no resale value. Otherwise, I would have just doubled Ben's wealth. Please make a note somewhere on your character sheet that if sold there is no value so you are parting with them for RP reasons.
