If allowed, Hexa will have his bow out, I'd not imagine him coming close to a dangerous animal den unarmed. Up to DM. :D
Hexa approaches the den, never once taking it lightly and was completely in his element. With bow drawn and arrow already drawn, he makes sure to keep Tal behind him. As the den comes into sight and despite the banter going on around him he clearly hears something within the den and he tenses up as hisses a warning to the others. "Tuskgutta' iss there'..."
With that said Hexa tries to take up a position somewhat swiftly as he assumed their presence was already known. He readies to strike the moment the boar emerges, aiming his bow with pure killing intent as Vekkel's warnings hadn't fallen on deaf ears.

is it ok to say that my players and I weren't happy with the AP?
or is this just a "positive things only" thing?
Of course not! But elaborate on the issues please!
I know a lot of folks didn't like when the Evil Campaign came out and other AP's at times.
I'm a bit mixed with this one, but with a little fine tuning it works regardless.
Spoilers:
My issue was that, without the Player Guide, it seems that you can't be of nobility and vying for the Throne.
Again, easily fixable for those that want to make that an option.
The only other problem, me personally, I personally am horrible with politically steeped campaigns. I've played with those who are great at it but I picture myself being more like the Hound and not Tyrion.
Overall though! I am realllllly looking forward to where this goes!
Hexa nods at her flurry of words, having little trouble keeping up after being around Wonky and watches her go before chuckling throatily to himself at her reactions. Though it stirred a strange feeling in his mighty chest and he contemplated why he wanted to see more. Finally, he turned back to the task of processing the prey. Preparing it for the feast before it started to spoil.
He planned on watching her cook, minding his tail as to knock over things in the kitchen while learning how to cook a scaleless meal.
Getting on the plane to work soon, so Hexa will be here. Learning to cook like scaleless do. ;)
Hexa watches Wonky and Ahto skirted off to the side, he kept an eye to the sky as he tells Sams, Arisl and Paval casually.
"Death Sshadow go east. Take Hexa's hunt, ssleep no light and bow near 'til firsst light. Svetlana say Death Shadow... Wyvern lives in gods teeth." He gestures to the horizon to the east.
Hexa nods to Arisl, accepting her wisdom before looking at the now stable Tartuk. Ahto's magic may have been wasted but that was out of Hexa's hands with Sootscale demanded Tartuk's head. "Tartuk can no longer lie to Sootscale. Sootscale may try to punish Tartuk by tribe..." He leaves Tartuk to the others, slaps Sams on the shoulder roughly in a sign of approval for the vicious blow he dealt to Tartuk's snout before focusing on the task at hand.
He calls Tal over then and looks to Sootscale before kneeling down again and taking the lead in negotiating further with the Sootscale Tribe Chieftain as Ahto suggested earlier.
Draconic/All who can understand:
"Chief Sootscale, Tartuk will no longer threaten tribe. We will take him and he will pay for all his wrongs done to our people. Our enemies the Mites are wounded and leaderless. Warband slayed most of their great beasts and scattered their weak warriors beneath the old tree. Some remain in the old tree though and I ask for Warriors so we can crush them. For any warriors Sootscale provides, Hexa will give them healing and protection as given by Mazludeh so we may crush them."
Hexa is straight to the point in his words to Chief Sootscale. He holds up his symbol of faith and displays a fraction of his strength through casting a few of his spells. First, a healing spell on himself to demonstrate. Showing that his goddess, unlike Sharptooth, was very much real...
Cast CLW on Self:1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
The healing magic brought a shiver to his scales and as some of his wounds heal he adds.
Draconic/All who can undertand:
"As Chief Sootscale can see, Ahto's Warband..."
He indicates Ahto and the others before gesturing to himself as being included.
Draconic/All who can understand:
"... can be trusted, Mikmek can prove my words. Even though they are scaleless they are wise and fair to those who they call friend. They are seeking many friends to trade and fight alongside with for the better of those that live in this land peacefully. Once we have crushed the Mites Hexa hopes the Sootscales will seek to trade with Chief Oleg and Warleader Ahto to make Sootscale Tribe Stronger. Think on it Chieftain Sootscale."
He watched over the battlefield, the fighting was fierce and his men were fatigued. Unlike their foes, who never tired, never slept and never fell unless completely destroyed. He grimaced as waves of dark magic were hurled from the ramparts surrounding the fallen town of Lenusya. His mercs were smart enough to hold back to where the mages could counterspell but the ramshackle troops from Orlov's noble houses were taking it in the teeth.
Lord Grenalf's dragon laid nearby, the pathetic thing had fewer scales with every day they stayed here. Hawk's gaze swept over it and to the approaching horsemen in foreign armor coming closer with each gallop.
When the ronin had dismounted near him on the edge of their command tent, he gave the tian man an impassive gaze before looking back at the battlefield. Hawk didn't like this siege, it was messy and they lacked the numbers to properly hold the enemy down. The holes in their line would invite further disaster. Finally, he bit what was bothering him. "Whats the word?"
The ronin showed no emotion, like g## d%*n usual, as he spoke. "Nothing, rode as far as the lowlands before being attacked by spiders and centipedes the size of men."
"G*@-d&!n insects. What is wrong with this land..."
"Cur-"
Hawk shot him a glare that ceased his talking. "None of that... injuries we can treat. But panic we can't..." He sighed. "I'm calling it. No more searching, we crush these dead bastards first."
At Hawks word's the Tian man touched the pommel of his curved blade. "She is alive."
"She's on her own." Hawks words were a cutting command, he knew the Ronin's loyalty and for some reason, he was attached to Rhavenna. Like several other members of the unit. Much of the pain in his ass it was, he was fond of her too. "We can't keep sending out some of our best to find someone with the speed of the finest mare. It's pointless..."
He paused as the mysterious Lady Lenusya made her appearance, ducking out of the command tent with two of her personal bodyguard. Hooded bastards gave him the creeps. They had no weapons save for their large muscles and a single shield gauntlet on opposite arms from where they always stood near the Noblewoman. Just plain weird. Though where the other two ran off to this time he hadn't knowledge nor a care.
She wasn't alone as Lord Grenalf's made an appearance as well, bastard he was... The arrogant noblemen rankled Hawk and he had half a mind to let some ghouls lose in his tent so he could be rid of him. Not that anyone would care about his passing.
As the lord started to blubber about the cold and their lack of 'success' Hawk spat on the ground...
Wonderful...
That Night
Lenusya's walls had held, burning the gates did nothing like the town itself was hell-bent to repel them. The noble houses lost another dozen retainers and thrice that was wounded again. However what irritated him most was his ronin was gone as soon as the battle was called off for the night. He didn't send anyone after him, he knew the man lived by his own code and nothing Hawk could say would deter him.
"He's on his own..." He mumbled in annoyance.
He looked out across the open ground, at the ominous glow coming from the walls of Lenusya. Listening for the sound of music on the wind again tonight. The same sad tune that pervade the air around the dead town...
With that said he continues to work over the dragons limbs, his tall frame managing to move the dragons limbs. He does it without complaining, sweat pouring down his forehead as he moved all around the dragons still form. Laying the limbs back down each time as best he could. He didn't even notice when Aslan slipped away silently. Her face unreadable.
Tidus was no longer as skeptical as he was before. Merely standing there with his arms folded across his chest. When he saw Rhavenna's battered emotions he commented quietly. "'More pain then Hask-Ultharan and more stubborn then a Zastevalian...'" He frowns. "This land is a tormented thing, though many choose to stay. To stubborn or just unwilling to leave."
"If you plan on staying here I will stay with you..."
Seeing the insectoid beast fall and hearing the mites wails Hexa takes aim with his bow. He had been intent on finishing this tribe for good but Wonky's spirited talk distracts him from continuing to attack the already defeated mites. He lowers his bow and nods at her 'thanks' something he still wasn't used to hearing.
Those with no use are driven from the tribe. A harsh expression that Scaleless seemed to not use. He shrugs it off as his head clears.
He puts the bow away when it becomes clear the fight is over, for now. The defeated mites no longer a threat in the face of their warband. However his movements had been sloppy, his response to Wonky is as it should be. Accepting his weakness. "Hexa wass sslow, ssome hurt now..." His tail swats the earthen floor in annoyance before exhaling heavily. The act brings focus and he turns to look at the injured Aoi'Si, Arisl.
He leans forward and inspects her for obvious injuries, she had fallen far after all. "No move." He muttered through his teeth as he touched his symbol of Mazludeh.
"Cure light wound." He intones it in his draconic tongue, his claws giving off a faint glow before he tries touching Arisl's leg.
I've always believed that a cure or healing spell gave off a sort of energy when adminstered.
For Hexa I imagine its like a warm pulse, something that rushes through the senses starting at the point of injury. Like stepping into a warm bath as the energy spreads to remove injuries. But as quickly as it's felt, it's gone.
Pavel's words made Hexa chuckle. "But sshe ssmall like hatchl-" Then it clicked. Hexa tilted his head so far to the right as he tried to comprehend what he had failed to see before. The mites were seemingly lost to him for a moment as he leaned over to look at Wonky more closely, tilting his head to the left and right. Her clothing and intelligence were the indicators he had wrote off in lieu of her overly excited hatchling like demeanor.
After a moment he chuckles, shaking his head before glancing sideways at Pavel. Nodding as he follows the man quietly. Clicking his tongue at the small entrance before saying. "Jock, ya Jock ve'y good." His disbelief made his tongue fumble.
Bluff:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0LOL
He trips as he makes a sidelong glance at Wonky, leaning on Pavel hard enough to probably crumple the man before recovering. Pavel's words now made him doubt everything he knew and it visibly affected Hexa. As he recovered he looked from Arisl to Wonky and his scales lost color. Turning away quickly he focused on the tight tunnels they were about to enter.
He listened carefully, it had been a long time since someone had spoken at length in his tongue. Which made understanding so much easier to retain. He nods at her explanations and understood the mention of growing up with hunger as a companion.
"The Scaled know that well. Hexa would like to see Restov some day..." He leaves the word Politics alone, especially her explanation made it sound troublesome and he had better things to learn. Things he could learn to craft or eat primarily...
He gives another throaty laugh at her final words, nodding as he stood up as well. Then a realization made him tilt his head. "You can make Hexa disappear?"
Now that would make a great hunting trick...
He follows behind Arisl slowly, matching their pace since his gait was usually far quicker.
Emerging back out in the busy Village Hexa looks to be of assistance. If there was no where for him to be then he goes about hunting in the final hours of the day...
Random Assist roll / survival-hunting:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
The intensity shifts back to the fire. Which he is literally stirring up with his bare hand now. Untouched by the flames. "To save what was left of your herd. Fools all, honor, loyalty and what did it get them? Death... ButYou..." He points at Rhavenna with blackened ash covered fingers. ... you are..." His pause is sudden, confused, like he had forgotten what he was going to say. "... what's left... but..." He looks up then.
He stands up, his size turning giant once more as he turns towards the three of you. Mainly looking at Rhavenna. "Yet here you are. Back in Ioberia's grasp." He balls his hand into a fist, his knuckles creaking just as Tidus steps between you both.
"That's enough..." Tidus voice was low and menacing as he draws his blades, it was clear he was more then serious.
The elven man's form shrinks a little at the confrontation with Tidus, though he doesn't step back. "Oh the abomination speaks! You can't protect her with swor..."
Tidus cuts him off pointing at him with one of his drawn blades. "Shut Up! Not another word or...!" Tidus was fired up, angrier then ever before. The strange sounds outside the rock wall had died down, the scrapping and clawing has been replaced with stillness. Aside from the anger rising in this chamber...
After several frustrating minutes, Azlan Rhavenna and Tidus emerge in an area where they could here themselves breathing. Sound seemed harsher after so long without it. Apparently you all had been under that soundless magic for some time...
The chamber was still empty, nothing moved or shifted. The quiet sounds of the water rippling through the room reached your ears but the area of silence stood between you and the hidden entrance. Which stood barred, still.

Oh damn! Take your time bud. That sucks!
Good luck and I hope you get a great settlement out of that. Like house paid off. Not because you/yours are like that but getting hit by a big tractor is career ending sometimes for the victims involved. That's a huge f-up on their part. I know only because I drive big rigs. :/
Best of luck and let me know if i can help out. :/
@GM Glyn if you don't like having to choose options like that, let me know. But its totally in your court as to how she proceeds. Regardless she is attacking, unless she has no clear shot available. Like firing into melee, but with how big this creature is I was thinking that the group wasn't providing total cover.
Your call, I respect whatever decision i made. :) Also I'm not angry, a bit annoyed only because I have procrastinated my decision so long.
I couldn't find if I could throw a weapon, but it says it can be done as an improvised weapon with only a 10ft increment if I read that correctly. so -4 there. -x whatever else you see fit.
"I think we shouldn't mess with that...""She's gonna get us killed." He mumbles quietly before giving Rhavenna a nod. "I thought the same but I don't know of any giants, nor met any. He's... different." He fidgets a little before frowning. "And for being so large he has the lightest steps i've ever heard. Or not heard. I mean one moment I'm alone and the next he's rising up like he had crawled out of the earth."
He nods towards the tall passage, where the webbing clings to the walls and ceiling. Wrapping its way along stalactites and stalagmites in the cavern you're standing in but strangely it was some twenty feet away from the water...
"I think for now we take his advice and we follow. Armed of course though. I don't like this webbing at all."
He leads the way out drawing his swords and nodding to you both before he stepped off into the dark tunnel.
Following Tidus and the giant elf:
The tunnel is tight, though the webs seemed to be pushed back far enough that if you keep to the center of the passage you have little chance to get caught in them. Tidus walks through the dark with a practiced step and in no time you are passing several tunnels that dot the walls of a wide section of the passage. All of which are plum full of webbing.
The entire walk is filled only with the light steps of your own passage. That is until the sounds of the outside world start to fill your ears and eventually the light of day reaches where your walking. Eventually the three of you emerge, surrounded by thick trees and what could only be described as a verdant landscape. Marred only by the presence of the webs, though these webs appear burned back to the cave entrance.
The Giant Elf is standing there, he eyes each of you impassively before lifting a hand and speaking in draconic.
Spoiler:
Dragons breath come forth.
Flames shot from his outstretched hand, spraying across the webs and igniting them into a ferocious conflagration that spreads rapidly back into the caverns you had just left. He lowers his hand and turns away as the fire spreads rapidly and deeply behind him. "Come." He spoke briefly before striding off into the trees with well practised steps.
I'm willing to give up my slot for anyone who hasn't played Kingmaker before. As much as I love it and want to try a Lizardfolk, I'd rather let someone who hasn't played it have a shot too. So long as the character is what's needed too. Just FYI. :)
This is a hard one, I ran into this before and when it came down to it my Paladin jumped on his sword. Killed the bad guy because they were irredemable and threaten to murder the innocent. Though he gave them several chances they didn't flinch, so in the name of protecting the innocent, the Paladin accept his fate. Lost his power and atoned, harshly, for what he had done.
10/10 would do so again. Don't think taunting a protector of the innocent means you get a 'I get to live because your code sucks' card. Totall went games of throne like Ned Stark with a greatsword and that ended the threats, permanently.
She had just entered the druidic circle when she felt it. Like a slight static shock to her finger tips, though this was a familiar pain and she turned towards the scattered stones. Raising a hand and calling in sylvan for the runes to show her what the disturbance was.
The stones formed and the great pool at the center brought forth terrible images of carnage and death, though the glowing red blade and the dying worgs was a familiar sight. She knew the blade and in turn knew the wielder in an instant. The pool shifted and shimmered until it showed a great mound of dead wolves lashed together and the unknown slayer hefting the dead worgs onto their shoulders. When Signe's eyes fell on the armor she gave a sigh of relief. "From the winter storm returns the mountain lord. To reclaim lands lost in times of darkest absence. To drive out the usurpers who dance and jeer of things untrue. Return does the Mountain Lord to her home." She waves a hand over the pool, intoning another sylvanic spell. But the spell doesn't do as she hoped, it doesn't compel the Mountain Lord to return with haste, the spell fails and this brings Signe great alarm.
She searches the pool for answers and when she finds none she is about to cast more spells when the pool shifts. The Mountain Lord's image is lost as black tendrils wisp out of the sides of the pool. The entire pool was black as pitch until a pair of eyes appeared at its center, followed swiftly by the chants of a language banned from ever being uttered in their woods.
She raised both hands, dispelling the power she had awakened in the druidic circle, but as the stones parted she knew she was oo late. The bones around her started to shaek, rattle and gather together. To form a host of beasts that should no longer walk the earth. Animals and fallen foes alike started at her with long empty eye sockets that now had a buning flame of hate within them. A hate for all that which lived.
But the words that beast had uttered chilled her to the bone. Especially as she rained flame and stone on the dead that were trying to break awy from facing her. Break away and run west, run west towards the Mountain Lord and any that traveled with her. She shifted then into her proud form, the might bear towering over the dead as she roared in challenge. "I won't let you!"
The words still echoed in her mind even then, so much so her roars would summon her warriors to her aid. To aid her in stopping that which sought to end her sister. A fate she opposed with all her might.
He was more then nervous, he was downright fearful. The abbess had a temper as raging hot as an injured lynx. He had hoped to avoid coming here, but with what was pursuing them he had little choice. He was guided into the Abbess chambers, the familiar smell of lavender incense tickled his nostrils, though here was the hint of jasmine mixed in as well. He removed his armor and settled it across a broad chested manikin, oddly similar to himself in size, setting his weapons and pack next to it.
The abbess had left him there, sitting next to a low burning fire and bristling with anticipation as to the tongue lashing he'd receive for his decades long absence. After several long minutes he started to almost nod off, the fatigue of the road and his age getting the better of him. That was until he felt a gentle touch across his shoulders. The touch weas almost electrifying as his fatigue and tension melted away.
"Uh oh. Now I know your angry, your being far too nice." His words are answered by a chuckle as the dark skinned woman lightly wraps her arms around his neck, hugging his head against her chest as she spoke. "Iomedae scold me but I couldn't find the words. I'm just glad you decided to see me after all this time. Though I have some news you may not like." Her voice was light, sensual like a whisper as she released his head and started working his shoulders again. Releasing bursts of divine power to ease his injuries.
He chuckled then. "Must be bad indeed if your worried for me."
"I'm not the one whose furious with you. I'd say our daughter wanted to meet you more then anything..."
No longer fatigued the news was like a hammerblow. "Daughter? But..."
She shushed him with a single firm grip on his shoulders. "She carries your odd trait of agelessness, she is nearly forty but still burns with primal youth. I'm sent her to Nerosyan in Mendev for training but she will return and I have little choice but to tell her you've entered Ioberia once more." She was quiet then, her hands working his shoulders, his neck and eventually migrating down to his arms. "... but yes, I was barren whn we me. I'd not expected our parting fling to birth such an event and I'd not change it either." Now standing before him she was smiling broadly. "Though she was raised in this remote place, she became the light in my life when you left me. When our adventures ended I had hoped you'd stay after founding this place, but you were too wild and she carries your burning spirit. You've got a thunderstorm coming your way and most likely very soon."
Faldirk smiled, pulling the Abbess into a firm embrace, during which she noticed his missing eye. "That won't do... I liked both of your eyes..."
He smiled at her then. "As did I, but a rabid bear tore it out. Ambushed me, but we bested it in the end." His words trailed off he cupped her cheek before kissing her gently. "After all that had happened I was afraid of staying in one place too long..."
She cups his hand and rubs her cheek into his large palm with her eyes closed. "I know and your old nemesis is still alive... I'm sorry, but Ioberia is worse off then before. You'll find few friends there but the Priories doors will always be open to you. Always. So lets discuss something else and leave this nastiness for morning briefings..."
They embraced again before she guided him to her own private bath. They had much to discuss and many years to catch up on. Not a moment of which was wasted between them...

Laptop cratered on me, and then paizo was down. Fun day not had. XD
Julian nodded to Kariel, though he wasn't pleased still by this deal. Though his predisposed dislike of it melted when Rowan moved his eyes to hers. Under that gaze he couldn't do anything but give out, with a heavy sigh he responded. "That isn't fair. You know I trust you, but you are too easy. All you damn holy warriors are, like you owe the world something. Except when your gone the world moves on the moment after." He abandons his position then looking towards the ground for a moment. "I have no small amount of dislike for Iomedae, or this god forsaken war either. It's taken a lot from me and I was tired of seeing more sacrificed for little gain." He looks back to Rowan then, a small smile on his face as he slugged her in the shoulder. "Okay. If I survive this, then sure, I'll take care of Sarkoris. I also won't allow your role to be forgotten either. And when you've killed all of Iomedae's foes for her and are finally able to lay down the sword, you will have a place to retire."
He steps back then adding. "Excuse my interruption."
Einherjar vibrated on his side. <:Your thinking of a big ugly statue aren't you?:>
Julian's smile remained. <:Yes, not ugly though. But big. No one will forget what she gave for them, I won't allow it. That is, if I live that long.:>
Like a sight in his head Einherjar responded. <:Your too predictable and if you abandon that reckless streak you might outlive them all.:>

Now that he was calmed down he noticed several weapons drawn on him, he chuckled as he realized why Einherjar was so amused at this point. "Apologies for startling you all, I need to borrow Anathya for an unknown amount of time. Next time I will announce my presence more preemptively."
<:I'd have been interested if they had shot you.:> Einherjar of course interjected its marvelous whit as Julian's near fallout with the new Ranger team. <:Next time Redeemed focus on her face more then her body. There lies your trouble, you get all... Bothered by details.:>
He grabs the hilt to silence Einherjar as he nods to Anathya's rangers, having, he'd been so fixated on finding her that her rangers were a minor detail. As were their drawn weapons. hough now that his urges were repressed once more his eyes returned to their normal colors of Violet and dark blue. Much to his relief he became less intense and was able to focus more on her question. "Indeed and yes. Here." He hands Anathya a stoppered extract. "This should reverse the density of your physical form and make you more buoyant with an added touch of self propulsion."
When they were ready he flies upward once more and wheels towards where he last saw Kariel at the citadel, the chamber that housed the Sword of Valor.
Yep, he has no bluff. 1d20 ⇒ 4 lol Yeah... Stalker of the year award.

"Where did I see her last... Where. Where. Where?" He taps his chin as he walked, looking at faces and wondering where his Last companion was.
<:Your talking to yourself has been most odd lately.:> Einherjar vibrated as it it jabbed at Julian's musing's.
He smiled at Einherjar's self amusement. "Hush you, too much on my mind to internalize. To much to control and repress... Oh. There's that." He hesitated the slightest of moments, unsure if he should do it or not.
<:It's a slippery slope Redeemed, you know yourself best. Though I doubt Kariel would approve of this.:>
"She told me to gather them and I will... Now let me focus." Julian closed his eyes and focused on what Anathya looked like, the definition of her figure and the way it brought an entire room to pause at her entrance. Angelic bronze skin, golden eyes and that confident stride. Perfection. Another reason why he hated Aasimar's, so perfect it was sickening to resist. He was able to resist Rowan for their combined past but Anathya was someone he hadn't thought of but if locating her was easier then he'd do it this once.
When he opened his eyes next they glowed a dull red, his lips parted in a devious smile as his wings snapped open. In a single graceful motion he shot skyward. To hunt.
Take ten + 15 perception = 25 to hunt down Anathya
For expediency or if Anathya decides to post ahead of me. haha. since they work nights most ofthe time.
Julian flew low over the closer of the plaza's his black wings easily catching and guiding him through the gusting and shearing winds within Drezen's loose streets and when he finally found Anathya he landed behind her softly. Slowly bringing his wings around her as though he were going to smother her before realizing exactly what he was doing and instead quickly fluttered them before tucking them behind his back again. He was trying to remain focused as he spoke, his red tinged eyes staring straight into that exotic bronze toned face. "I want...' Despite his vast intelligence his hunting instinct was far more brutish and blundered its way into his speech. "... you, to follow me." To which his reason recovered, less than gracefully as his voice cracked.
<:Smooth.... I'd applaud if I had hands.:>
Cha 10 - Not the smooth Romeo...
He clears his throat, his wings fluttering slightly as he started from where he should have. The beginning. "The light before wasn't the banner, but an ally come to see us and they have a tight schedule so we need to move quickly." He leans in and whispers her name, not wanting people on the street to hear. "Archangel Kariel."

Julian was only slightly surprised at Kariel's sudden appearance and he bowed deeply in respect before accepting her request. "Good to see you, Kariel, I shall do as you ask."
He goes about then, looking for his companions where he last saw them. Failing that he looks for where they most likely are. Rowan was most likely schmoozing everyone into joining the faith or was at the forge with Meiyun. Anathya though was probably with her rangers or with Rowan, they were oddly inseparable lately.
Tidus face was unreadable as his mouth literally gaped at Aslan's comment momentarily before he closed it and grunted in response. Seeming at a lose of words in the face of this barbaric woman.
Later In the rooms of the Priory
Tidus makes himself useful by getting the blankets arranged in what could be assumed as Aslan's room and helping set things up in the other room. He looks at the bed, which was set on the floor already, before nodding to Rhavenna. "Much better than a stable, which I bet was what she was going to suggest."
TygWho i momentarily forgot about wasn't so lucky, though to the Priories inhabitants surprise the Stag willingly went to the stables. Either too tired to fight or seeming to know that Rhavenna was safe, though he had looked back at her as he was led away by the wary guardsmen.
She looks at Aslan, the woman's face an unreadable mask as she looked the larger woman straight in the eye. Several long moments passed before she answered in her same quiet whisper. "Of course, our doors are open to all. I will pass word to the guardsmen to be ready to expect you." She looked to the two who had helped open the doors. "You will remain here and open these doors when she returns. Be fully armed and ready of course."
She looks back to Aslan then. "If you haven't returned by first light then don't expect us to go looking for you. Outside these walls and beyond our sight you are on your own." This was a plain statement and pointed as she turned on her heal and went inside. "Good Luck to you."
A wave of fatigue hits the entire group, your legs become shaky as the heat and the sense of safety saps the last of your strength. The womns urgent words brings you back into focus, your vision had started to double as your eyes must have been crossing from exhaustion. "Easy now, don't collapse on us or else we will have trouble moving some of you."
She leads everyone to what appear to be a pair of unused guest rooms, save for Rhavenna as the rooms were not meant for Centaur's. The woman was about to say something when Tidus starts to shift around the furniture to make more room. Much to the terrible glare of the woman's dour attendant. "There. Now you can fit in here Rhavenna." The woman, with a bemused expression on her face comment lightly after Tidus's remark. "Far better than what I was going to be forced to suggest. Though There are only these two rooms." She points to the Elder. "We have much to talk about, your usual place is prepared." She nods to her attendant who whisks the Elder away almost forcibly as she turns to the rest of you. "I will have the cook bring warm soup and plenty of broth, we will get additional blankets for the larger of your companions as our home tends to get a bit drafty. Tonight I suggest you eat hearty and get plenty of rest. Introductions can wait until the morning. Enjoy~"

His father was Incubi after all, so I play up his urges as appropriate. Especially in the 'Wound. I would imagine this land calls to his dark side, temptations are much harder to resist. ;)
Post coming soonish, work is being hectic. Ice plugging flowlines is not a fun thing in Oil Field land, but we are clearing the lines now so woo fun!

For Rowan
Response to Aanthya
Minused from Rowan's shares Rednal. Consider the gift delivered in a week to Arles. And Anathya has the right of it, she is trying to keep morale up and keep the city upbeat. Especially those warriors who struggled the most.
Rowan's smile dimmed some, she exchanged a meaningful look with Meiyun as she considered what Anathya had mentioned. "I am sure we can make something together. I fully admit that Meiyun is a Torag's daughter reborn, a forge and crafting goddess who I have the honor of learning from." Her smile returned full force as she doused herself with another wave of refreshing water. She dipped the tankard back into the barrel and offered it to Anathya then. "It is also bloody hot down here. I'm starting to understand how dwarves are so good at forging. Apparently my kind were meant to fly in the heavens, not forge beneath the earth." She gives a laugh like silver bells
"I am looking into the means to hasten the rebuilding of Drezen but it may cost the rest of what I have. Itf it works though, Drezen will be restored much, much more quickly."
Day 29 - Partial
Having sent a warm night sharing a room with her companion and leaving Rowan to be grabbed up by Soltengrebbe. Much to her amusment. Rowan started to delve into the creation of items that would benefit the city as a whole. eing in the Worldwound meant that the earth was tainted, so fresh water was a must. Rebuilding the city took precedence and she remember a few tricks her more well-off Sword Sisters used to stay ahead year before.
K-Arcana - Items that can aid in construction or city development?:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
K-Arcana - Items that can provide clean sources of water?:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
K-Nature - Creatures or Plants known to purify the ground and ground water they live in?:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
She spends most of her morning researching this, enlisting the aid of other officers as needed. Starting with Anathya as she was closest at hand. "Do you know creatures or objects that can aid in city building, water supplies and purifying the earth?"After saying it she laughs aloud, in her head it sounded fine but spoke aloud it made her sound mad. She chuckles almost to the point of tears. "Forgive me, I do mean it in the most useful sense. I was pondering last night as to what could be used to give us more ample and pure water supplies consistently and aid in rebuilding this city more quickly while purifiyng the ground surrounding Drezen. Trying to put my funds to good use, but it does make me sound daft."
Baby calling again, more to come! I wrote down his ideas while he was semi conscious. Pain meds knocked him out hard...

Haha sounds good Rednal.
questions from the somewhat Lucid Rowan.
Is anyone capable of casting Fabricate among the NPC's, if not is there a qizard we could hire to cast it. Reason for this odd question is she wants to create a Lyre of Building. Which its use is obvious of course. XD
She is also looking to make three rings of sustenance. One for each member of the group.
And finally, she is interested in knowing if anyone can cast Control water.
Julian
Baby is calling, not sure when I can get the posts up. Expect something by monday or tuesday because I will be back at work and less crazy hectic schedule with kids and baby. Haha. Shes an alright baby but she is a night owl. So I tend to sleep during the day and spend all night trying to get her back down and feed her. Life is fun. Can't wait for the next couple months and a smoothing out of the schedule.
But Rowan is in and out due to pain meds. Being discharged soon though so that is a relief.

Yeah, Rowan hasn't had much opportunity to be a ranged combatant. Not since we lost Tarov.
Julian being the Glass Cannon that I made him, he won't stand alone against something that hits hard for very long.
Post coming in the AM, apologies again. Going to see Rowan tomorrow and getting some dad time away from the new baby haha. Most likely though she will be coming with to see her uncle. XD But will have time to catch posts up for both of us then.

Rowans focus is providing Longsword with Bane eventually to soldiers throughout the city. Literally turning the force into a demon slaying force. If we every get steady income she would include armor of defiant nature or enchantment resisting and such as well.
She's got lofty goals.
Also instead of a crafting feat she will take reactive healing, seems prudent with the possibility of being nearly one shot by foes at some point and passing out would be bad.
Aside from Anathya's weapon enhancements Rowan was going to look into improving Soltengrebbe's residence as well, buying the mighty chimera a large bed and other comfort items so that it doesn't forget its friends. The Chimera has a very special place in Rowan's heart.
Arles Jhestander was on her mind as well, the man was a come back story worthy of praise and admiration. Once she was done with enchanting Anathya's blade she made her way back to the chapel and recovered her Defiant Chainmail of Iomedae (+1) and the enchanted longsword they had that was more proficient in cutting. On the armor she bought and enchanted magical wax to imprint the symbol of Anathya and hang from it holy scriptures. In Celestial she wrote in the wax. 'Faithful, Always.'
Let us know what it would cost for the Embellishment and furniture for Soltengrebbe, just a base cost is fine Rowan says. Also if she can exchange the Keen for Bane then she would do so. To make the weapon more effective.
When she had time she delivered the goods herself, arriving in full battle dress to deliver the reward. She of course gets Irabeth's permission before hand to ensure she wasn't seen as being overly favoring of Arles.
She speaks to Arles of how he was an inspiration, though he had been battered by cruel experiance he had made a return. Made a shining example of a man whose faith was sorely tested and when hers was fractured he became a pillar for which to lean on. She spoke of what she expected in the future and ensured that all knew that if ever they were in doubt they could seek her out for counsel. For now that Drezen was rebuilding it was not a time to lose the ground they had bled for to gain, but to continue forward as she had said weeks before. To be the sword of the 5th Crusade and to continue to inspire all of Mendev through their faith and dedication.
"I expect many great things from you Arles, I hope to continue to rely on you and that you use your demon fighting experience with the newer soldiers taht will eventually be coming to Drezen. Also keep Jestak training as well."

Posting for Rowan
Rowan's Day 22+(? see below, involves crafting) - Involves Anathya
The restoration of the forge was a major high for the paladin. She looked forward to redeeming items and making them worthy of crusader hands.
Though her immediate thoughts were on her new companion, her roommate and friend. The woman spent hard earned gold in supplying their journey and Rowan, who felt the gods had graced her greatly, would repay the valiant nature that was Anathya.
So she left her an invitation to meet Meiyun and Rowan in the forge room. Which Rowan had been helping to reorganize alongside the Forgemaster Meiyun. When she arrived Rowan was wearing merely a wrap around her breasts, an armored kilt and a head band to keep the sweat out of her eyes, the heat of the forge room was sweltering to her but a couple barrels of water were sitting off to the side for the pair to douse themselves as they worked the forge.
When Anathya arrived Rowan smiled and nodded in greeting. "Julian sends his regards, but he donated to the cause as well." She waves her hand to the silver coffer she had kept, guiding her friend over to open it and revealing the contents to be six thousand gold pieces. "It is my hope we can improve your gear, among providing good gear and rewards to the other valiant warriors among the faithful that came here. If we need more Julian has already agreed we will provide it."
Depending on what enchantments that may be all Rowan can accomplish this week.

So far so good.
Medlynne is a healthy, snuggly little girl that eats formula / milk likes its going out of style. Sleeps just as much too haha.
Rowan's hands are Out of Order for a few weeks, something he hadn't expected. But for the first time in probably two years he's nausea and random infection free. I'd say knock on wood but he's glaring at me at the moment, haha.
Oh woodworking jokes will never go out of style now, he's defenseless.
Posting his actions right now.
So my post was assuming that we got the hospital and stuff going, which was supplies used from the city btw.
Thanks Rednal and sorry for the wait guys. A lot going on this time home and roads are good, but drivers are terrible. The roads are barely icy yet we have car wrecks all over, people driving too fast or not paying attention. So its been interesting to say the least.

Busy month, posts coming in a couple hours depending if my pad charges.
So updates,
Back from work. Woo! took a week off for the birth of my 3rd child! XD Having a little girl tomorrow. :D
Rowan is on the mend, apparently they had to do several surgeries, instead of the three they initially had planned. Which required them to keep him under for a lot longer then I realized. However he is on the mend, going to take away for him physically but he is on the way up.

He sighted with relief when the whispers faded. "Gah... thank Desna that noisy demon is dea..." Anathya's and Rowan's moment together leaves him feeling... rather uncomfortable. It wasn't that he lacked Empathy but his mutated form had urges of its own. At Rowan's nod though he had reason to leave and quickly. "Will do. Be careful... You are far too overextended Rowan." He gently pats Anathya's shoulder, saying nothing as the woman unloaded. He wouldn't embarrass her more.
He moves out into the main hall leaving the banner with Rowan and flying upwards and down the halls in a quick search of where the caster may have ran too. Same with where Aron was currently...
