Roger. Not enough room for all the coins then haha.may as well get what gear we can.
I was curious if the chest was too large to fit. XD
Julian Fey
5rue that haha. We can at least grab other items then. Post incoming current walking through airport. While pausing to post haha. No running into pillars today...
Ascendant Rowan
That is a relief. I saved my Smite but Smite doesn't heal! XD
Julian Fey
So HL had an update and is now informing me I am missing 15 free spells *edited* I can put these primarily in lvl 1 and 2 spells but huh...
Also I have 5 Extracts missing. so following my above logic I will go 3 1st and 2 2nd lvl.
Hopefully that is acceptable. I don't how I missed this many but... damn.
Julian Fey
I dunno, its really weird. So far eveything checks out. I just don't get how I would have missed that... the problem with relying on herolab I guess. need to read my books more often lol. -.-;
Ascendant Rowan
The only downside to Mystic Theurge is that I don't gain any additional spells per level. Granted I can pay, trade and bargain for spells from others. But it hurts when Oracle/Arcanist don't gain spells per level.
However, case in point, Rowan isn't missing anything. I verified it. >.0
Julian is a lozer!
Ascendant Rowan
Rowan has a few things to do before bed, I am going to return to the Mausoleum in the graveyard and try something out. We are no where near Hallow casting status yet but that doesn't stop me from trying to at least make the Mausoleum cleaner.
It will be interesting to see if Jestak will stick around, I grow fond of NPC's and after Soltengrebbe it isn't a surprise that Rowan would continue to gather, convert and save others to have them join her. Even the saboteur in our midst would be a welcomed addition, at least once we catch them lmao.
GM Rednal
Well, redemption is a major theme of this game. ^^ If you kill someone evil, they just go to their respective infernal realm and make it that much stronger. If you redeem them, you actually take away that realm's power, while strengthening another (often a good realm) instead. It's the truest way to defeat evil in the setting.
Also, I hope someone warned Anathya about the giant mythic chimera charging towards the group...

?????
Will post in a few. long night at work.
Anathya
If there's stuff we still can't carry I've got two sacks and a horse in my pocket. No seriously. I literally have a horse in my pocket.
Ascendant Rowan
I think Primarily its the coinage we will have a problem with. 7k gold is heavy. add in the silver and the copper and it'll weigh a lot haha.
Coins amount to around 250 lb's
Random gems and such would be another 10-20. Aside from that, unless Rednal has anything to say, we should be able toget the rest of those items out with the bag of holding primarily, if it is half full.
Anathya
2 sacks and a horse should be able to handle that pretty easily.
Ascendant Rowan
Sounds good to me! Then we should be able to retrieve everything from Soltengrebbe's redoubt. (Note to self - Rebuild it and keep that as their den. *Squee*) Thanks Anathya and... how do you have a horse in your pocket! XD
Hopefully no one minds if Jestak takes an item or two. I don't think we are hurting too much.
Also Rednal, the only other thing - aside from RPing/Redeeming talk with Jestak - is Rowan has Consecrate, as such she was going to have a go at the Mausoleum. She will inform the others but I was thinking of taking Jestak with us as I try to stry attempt in cleansing the unhallow effect.
It was something we were going to do anyway so may as well try to do something with it. If it will be a waste of time atm then we can move forward still. Just thought I would give forewarning to you.

Because of one of the best magic items ever!
Adventurer’s Great coat. (Contains):
Detaching a patch causes it to become an actual item, as indicated below. An adventurer's greatcoat has each of the following patches (unless noted otherwise, the coat has only one of each patch):

• A large scroll case containing a 2-foot-by-10-foot roll of paper and two sticks of charcoal
• A quiver containing five adamantine arrows, five cold iron arrows, and two silver arrows
• A 10-square-yard roll of canvas containing 10 pitons and a small hammer

• Bullseye lanterns (2; full and lit)
• Daggers (2)
• Disguise kit
• Healer's kit
• Hemp ropes (2; 50-foot coil)

• Oil of daylight
• Poles (2; 10-foot length)
• Sacks (2)
• Universal solvent
• Wand of prestidigitation (CL 1st, 5 charges)

You could do the consecrate thing while I find someone to tell me what Ragathiel needs.

Mausoleum Consecrate Attempt (at failure nyan)
True, and without a 9th level cleric or buying/finding a scroll of Hallow. Which will be unlikely in the Worldwound I think. For Rowan though it is a matter of Faith, she should be healing not only the living but trying to preserve the sanctity of the dead. To her it makes sense to try and set it right at least, repair what is broken and at least try and sanctify the place. With the Rosary she feels more obligated to try, and since getting the Armor of the Pious she has two items that are enhanced in a way through prayer.
Cohort
Without modifiers she has a leadership score of 14. Though that means a max lvl of 10 cohort but being only lvl 9 that means Rowan can only have a lvl 7 cohort.

That Magic item is Awesome!
GM Rednal
@Julian: Indeed. ...Although that resurrection potion is particularly so. You literally can't buy or make it, because it's created from a genuine artifact. Use it wisely. XD
@Rowan: I was actually kind of surprised at the lack of in-game options for getting rid of it. Removing an unhallow is pretty hard to begin with, since almost nothing works on it, particularly at the PCs' level when they arrive... might've been an oversight, actually. o_O Also, this unhallow is a bit weird anyway.
...
Try using your Rosary's Dispel on it. o vo

a scroll of move earth
Weapons:
(+1) flaming heavy crossbow
an efficient quiver containing two javelins of lightning and 19 (+1) magical beast bane arrows,
Armor
a suit of (+1) ghost touch full plate.
The chest's contents included 633 cp, 1,427 sp, 5,786 gp, 376 pp, nine garnets worth 100 gp each, a pearl of power (2nd level), a rod of metal and mineral detection, a scroll of divination, a set of stone-carved dwarven figurines worth 600 gp, an expensive pair of vases worth 250 gp each, a silver coffer worth 350 gp, an elixir of climbing, a potion of neutralize poison, a wand of nondetection (23 charges remaining), and a dose of oil of life (crafted from a cure serious wounds potion and the quicksilver from a philosopher's stone, and acting as a True Resurrection - unlike the rest of the items in the chest, it has pretty much no value because it's so obscenely rare and difficult to make that you can't put a price on it, and Meiyun almost fainted from shock when she saw it).
Despite these incredible treasures, the most valuable object in the chest may well be Staunton Vhane's journal (and a quick perusal suggests that Staunton was the one who kind of exploded into a cloud of insects). This journal records events from his life, recited from his childhood in the Five Kings Mountains to his time spent in the First Mendevian Crusade searching for the lost Sky Citadel of Jormurdun, on to his betrayal of Drezen and his time spent serving Deskari and Baphomet alike.
During the height of the First Crusade, as the initial wave of demons was forced back into the heart of the Worldwound, the crusaders began to build fortresses in fallen Sarkoris to hold the defensive line. The greatest of these fortresses was built by a small army of dwarven crusaders-worshipers of Torag who drew upon the architectural styles of their ancient Sky Citadels to create Citadel Drezen, a squat, almost bunkerlike fortress situated atop a rugged bluff in the northeastern corner of the region. The citadel was completed in 4628 AR and played a key role in the successful end of the First Crusade. In the years after that crusade's end, the citadel drew more and more crusaders, and a town of stone buildings grew rapidly around the citadel's walls. For a time, Drezen served as the unofficial capital of the crusade, and it was in this fortress that many of the crusade's most beloved and sacred relics came to stay. The greatest of these was the Sword of Valor-a magical banner once carried into battle by Iomedae herself during the Shining Crusade. Under the aegis of the Sword of Valor, several crusading orders struck decisive blows against the demon armies, and its presence in Drezen was believed to make the Citadel's walls impregnable to demons.
Unfortunately, the Sword of Valor offered no such protection against traitors. When a second and much larger invasion of demons surged forth from the Worldwound in 4636 AR, the crusaders rallied again to the fight. The Sword of Valor remained in Drezen's walls, to protect the citadel and the city that had formed around it, and its presence repelled several attacks over the course of the next 2 years. But in 4638 AR, Staunton Vhane fell under the influence of what he believed to be a warrior-princess from Kyonin.
In fact, this elven beauty was a disguised glabrezu named Jerribeth, who convinced Staunton that Drezen was adequately protected, and that the Sword of Valor needed to be carried into battle once again. Believing that the leaders of Drezen were cowards who hid behind the magical banner for their own personal safety, Staunton stole the Sword of Valor and brought it out of the city to Jerribeth, who had promised to bring it to the front lines. But when Staunton delivered it, she revealed her true form after accepting the gift, and made Staunton watch as the marilith Aponavicius led her army into the city and took it in a single ruinous assault. Thousands died that night in Drezen, and many more died in the weeks to come as they fled the fallen city into the inhospitable wilds. Staunton was the first and last of that night's victims, for as the battle ended, he was brought before Aponavicius herself and given a choice-death or servitude. Staunton chose the latter.
The loss of Drezen triggered the official start of the Second Crusade, but this time the demons were better organized, more numerous, and more powerful. The crusaders did their best, but in the end, they were forced to abandon Drezen and its holdings as they raised the wardstones along the river banks bordering lost Sarkoris.
Scholars still debate the identity of the person responsible for the city's loss - and this journal finally provides definitive proof of what really happened that day.
Other notes of interest include the following:
• A list of dozens of sacred and holy weapons and armor he and his brother have successfully tainted through the use of something called a "corruption forge" (the notes include information on how to use it).
• A description of the Sword of Valor, including Staunton's frustration over Aponavicius's desire to keep it as a mere trophy and not to attempt the banner's corruption.
• Several detailed pages of how he hopes to someday torture Irabeth for "ruining nearly everything" when she confronted him almost a year ago in Kenabres.
• Notes on the shadow demon Eustoyriax, an unusually powerful shadow demon who came to Drezen a few weeks after Staunton fled here from Kenabres. The shadow demon arrived in the possessed body of a crusader named Maranse (a man the diary records as now being long dead after having been turned over to the succubus Kiranda), and bore gifts from a place called the Ivory Sanctum - five elixirs of distilled power brewed from powdered Nahyndrian crystal. The notes explain how Staunton volunteered to take one of the elixirs to test its strength before Aponavicius used one, and of the powers the elixir unlocked in him. The notes go on to describe the grisly deaths the elixirs inflicted on the dragon and xacarba servants Aponavicius tested them on, and that only the chimera Soltengrebbe survived the transformation. The notes conclude by revealing that the shadow demon Eustoyriax remains here in a chamber below the citadel, where Aponavicius has placed him in charge of protecting the Sword of Valor.
• The Ivory Sanctum is the central stronghold of the Templars of the Ivory Labyrinth in the Worldwound, a fortress led by a man named Xanthir Vang who also happens to be the regional leader of the Blackflame Adepts. Staunton records his sole meeting with Xanthir Vang, and indicates he would rather not meet him again-apparently something about the man particularly revolted the anti-paladin.
• Finally, Staunton mentions a special prisoner who's been kept in the Drezen dungeons-a succubus by the name of Aureshalae who was captured by Aponavicius. Staunton knows the succubus is some sort of Abyssal heretic and that the marilith wanted her kept prisoner until a special oubliette in the Rasping Rifts on the Abyss was ready for her. The fact that the succubus escaped not long after Aponavicius left Drezen in Staunton's hands is a major point of worry for the dwarf He's sent several minions out into the Worldwound to track her, noting that her loss of certain demonic abilities is the one saving grace and hoping her inability to teleport or become ethereal will allow his agents to find her and return her to Drezen before Aponavicius finds out she's managed to flee into the wilds of the Wounded Lands. The final note in the diary talks of how he hired an annis hag cultist of Sifkesh to track her down as well, and that if this final attempt fails, he intends to seek out Arueshalae himself once "this matter with the so-called heroes of Kenabres is settled."

Wish I could, only 9th lvl and its a 10th lvl ability haha.
Julian Fey
We could go to tenth.... ;3
^^;;;;;;;;;;; Yeah..... making some edits to my character sheet and I am overlapping it a bit there. Trying to use Hl for more of the storage instead of constantly worrying what I may oops along the way.
Julian Fey
Reference bar fixed. Apologies for any waiting on my. Been having a real tough time at work.
Got demoted and though I am grateful to be working, the demotion costs me monetarily so I have to do a lot of restructuring in both time, money and my family. My free time is going to get a bit tighter but I am in a spot where my gaming won't be affected. I just been juggling the RL numbers the last couple of days and finally have a plan forward. *I over think things too much sometimes.*
So still here and going to catch up.
Anathya
I'd like to lay claim to the crossbow if that's ok. The fact that my current one has the called quality makes it a great backup to keep stored so in the event of being disarmed I can teleport the back up into my hands.
Julian Fey
And I am back. Internet went out which sucked. Hard. Its break up season for the ice up here and it was quite awesome to watch the comm tower go down like a skyscraper when a massive sheet of ice slammed into it like a battering ram. Slow gold clap I even saluted it as it went down like a battleship.
So playing catch up!
Working on my spell selection and extracts for the next day so my char sheet may change some. I wish I had a portable spell book thing from HL to copy and past in there as well. -.-;
Anathya! Crossbow is all yours. I use my Einherjar (Scimitar) or bombs and Rowan is a Longsword and Bow type aside from her (his) magic.
Rowan is down again with walking pneumonia, not fun. He is going to post tonight but is like me. Spell research, research, research!
Anathya
The stuff with the ice sounds pretty spectacular.
That sucks. Sorry Rowan.
So while you two hit the books I'll see what Heaven's Punisher requires of my humble self and get it taken care of.
Julian Fey
Still deciding on what items would be useful for Julian if any. will let you know.
Interesting choice in leaving the Oil of Life with Meiyun Rowan. Still wondering as to why but it is fitting in a way haha.
Ascendant Rowan
No worries and Julian. People don't need updates on what happens in RL. I am still kicking and so is Rowan. Finished picking my spells for the next day and I will hold off on the seen at the Mausoleum for now as I went missing on you there. So back too it!
Anathya
Just waiting on a response before I go searching for cleric.
Ascendant Rowan
Well I post a looksee post for Rowan/Anathya/Jestak so Anathya/Jestak will have the jist of the who/what/where in camp. It's still my plan to win Jestak over but if she chooses to go then that is what happens. Better alive then dead imo.
Anathya
Love it! I feel like Dirty Harry in front of a review board.
Anathya
It makes sense. And the Worldwound is a pretty easy place to go astray. Considering my response.
Julian Fey
Updated!
Added the scrolls and less major items to Julian. Rod of Mineral detection and such. The bag of holding is listed on him mainly for the rare books for now.
I left the armor and pearl of power alone, I was assuming that Rowan would benefit from the pearl better then I and the Efficient quiver is remaining as well.
Will make a ore detailed list later, bed time for me for now lol.
Ascendant Rowan
Almost done with my updates. This is why I am a rough wizardy type. Combat types are pretty straightforward, mages haha not so much.
She be done before evening today. See you then!
Ascendant Rowan
S Julian means to say he grabbed everything. Lmao. I am not complaining I got myself some shiny Shiny awesome Paladin armor.
Eventually I need to find a better sword, but for now I am doing great. :3
Julian Fey
Updatedthe character one last time, all good to go! :)
Julian Fey
Just got a chance to look at the link and I agree that is awesome. XD I wonder if there will be anyone else we will get into card form as well haha.
Julian Fey
Will get a post up later today, flying. A lot for training for going back to an old roll. They dropped it on me a couple days ago and I have been too busy to post hardly at all. Should have one up this evening. Apologies for the wait.
@Rednal Is there an option with HL that makes it that any spell can be in any spell list? For some reason I thought Utter Determination was the coolest Extract ever. When I looked it up on PFSRD it was a lvl 4 Paladin spell haha. Maybe I am just an fool when it comes to HL but for some reason I keep having issues. Didn't know if you ran into something similar. -.-;
Julian Fey
That's the weird part, it shows it as a spell I Can select. I went through my HL and found no options selected that should allow this. I went to other characters and any with 4th level spell access have access to it. Again lol I fail somehow with HL.
I am finally settling in back at work, working nights and trying to catch up apologies for the wait post incoming!
