Thanks for running this. Been quite awhile since I played Omar. Nothing much unusual as a standard skald build. Rage and spell kenning in the less common areas.

Looking forward to seeing how the Party melds with all the different classes and roles. :)

The Rock is your standard Druid build able to cast and mix it up pretty well in melee. He will be wild shaped pretty well all the time while adventuring.

He is accompanied by his T-Rex companion Ginger. She likes nature walks, chew toys and trying to sneak up on party members.

I think we're APL 7, so high tier, 4 player adjustment as long as we have all 6 players from the signup sheet with the character they are signed up as.

I got the slides linked from my profile and the campaign info; go ahead and fill out slide 2 with your perception/initiative/sense motive rolls, as well as any tokens for you or animal companions/familiars.

Who has matching skills for this challenge? I could try Craft (Weapons) +4, Knowledge (engineering) +5, Spellcraft +5 and Survival +6.

I am ok with ruling this as allowing a take 10. Occult ritual rules have a clause about not being able to take 10/20 even with abilities, but they're also way more complex than the description for this in the adventure, so I'll treat this as more of a standard set of skill checks and allow it.

I don't think every character can do a ritual on a take 10 though, unless I'm missing more long duration skill buffs. To be used as a boost here, the effect needs to last the 20 minutes without needing actions (since you're busy conduction the ritual).

Here's what I have in terms of the rituals people can pass on a take 10:

Orenjii: Sever, Rebuke, Attune
Dexter: Rebuke
The Rock: Sever, Rebuke
Omar: None (All 3 if he can get a +1 to skills effect that stacks with heroism and lasts 20+ minutes, or uses lore master)
Triix: Sever, Rebuke, Attune
Jaakko: None

You can choose Rebuke the Starry Void and one of the other two rituals in 20 minutes, then have the option to finish the last one in another 20 if you want. You can also have someone investigate section 5, since Orenjii got stuck there, or try and do something else for the time.

If UMD can take-10 then Omar can help there (+14 not counting heroism). Otherwise, he will have to use Lore Master on any of the above.

Works for me…then guarantees success on all 3 rituals at the price of 20 extra minutes.

I ended up getting in too late tonight to get this put together, but should be able to move us along on my lunch break tomorrow. Jaakko, I think you still need to accept healing if you want it. I'll assume you follow along the ramps between islands and go to the next encounter unless someone wants to take a different approach.

Accept the surrender of an enemy combatant (other than an evil outsider or undead creature), and ensure his fair treatment until he can safely be released, ransomed, or delivered to authorities for justice. Alternatively, allow such an enemy combatant with no means of escape to flee without further harm.
