bluedove, were you able to put in to run Wounded Wisp for the Gameday?
Yes, I have registered. We will have to wait until Sept 8th to begin though.
bluedove
I'm going to go ahead and run two tables of the Wounded Wisp for Gameday, one for us and one open to the board. There wasn't a field to state if the table was already filled so it's on the listing as having seats open. Given how few PFS 1e tables are up this gameday, I feel like a heel to just take advantage of the event and not contribute to the players looking for seats.
Just to clarify for our group though, is everyone currently playing coming along for Wounded Wisp?

I am coming along for sure.
Were you by chance only looking at the GM choice tab?

Yes, of course!
GM Kaervek
Will post the conclusion tomorrow, I need to get some sleep now.

Questions: (because this is my first online pbp game as a GM)
How do I report this game?
I need an eventcode (also for the chronicles), so... how does this work?
Do I need to create a new event?

My Account > Organised Play > Gm/Event Coordinator > Create Your Event > Back to Events > Report
...and then fill in the session details.
Alternately, I would be happy to report it to my event, if you prefer.

No, it's just been several years since I participated in a Gameday. They used to be much bigger events, iirc. This looks like slim pickings, especially for CORE.
Well, I set up a recruitment thread. If it doesn't make, I'll just run it for us.

With great pleasure.

Sorry for dragging my feet again. :-(
Our young dog needed to visit the vet two times in the last few days, my partner is currently not home until Monday (which means that I am responsible for the dog all day and night), and my workplace expects me to, well, actually work (from home). So I was/am struggling to make time for posting.
I am currently preparing the chronicles for The Confirmation, should be done in the next 30 minutes.
@Ryul Dathana: I need a Day Job roll, please.

He will do an FJC that will require him to skip his Dayjob roll and donate 100g to charity.
GM Kaervek
Here are the chronicle sheets for The COREageous Confirmation!
Please check if everything is correct.
@Jack Hurricane: I filled it out with Normal Progression. If you need Slow Progression, I will of course change your chronicle sheet-

Good work GM’ing and the chronicle looks good as well.
I should have Ryul ready to go by Monday. If we get links for the next game’s slides, I can put them up top too.

Do we think Urori counts as "a named NPC with a significant connection to the natural world"? =D
Also here is The Wounded Wisp Slideshow
Not much on on it besides the Tracking Info slide so far, but may as well get it in place.
bluedove
Looks like my worrying over a lack of tables was indeed an overreaction. I only got one nibble on the recruitment via PM asking what CORE meant and nothing more.
I've not used RPG Chronicles for a game before but it's the SOP for this Gameday so here is the link to sign up.
I will launch the game about this time tomorrow and allow some time for everyone to get purchases squared away before we get into the action of it. Looking forward to it! ^_^

Me, too.

I signed up too.
I will take part in the game within 24 hours. I want to change Nal's class, I'm thinking about it for now...

Nal switched into a monk. I also plan to dip into wizard later (I don't really believe in a monk without a combination of Shield and Mage Armor spells). You shouldn't expect a lot of damage from him, but he will be able to insure the party here and there (as rogue with high Stealth & DD; as Tank with AC26 at lvl 2 with spells above; etc). Actually, this is the way of the core monk, it seems to me .)
I suggest not to discuss in characters that Nal used to do magic and now fights in close combat. It's still the same LG halfling and the silver Kelinahat symbol is still with him.
bluedove
Weekends tend to be slow on the boards, so I will wait until tomorrow morning to advance the combat. Still waiting on Nal and Paul to act.
I really don't prefer to bot players during combat, so if any player would like to do that for me before I post, I would appreciate it. ^_^

It seems we are a little thin on any diplomatic skills with this group.
WHICH IS FINE.
But... is definitely something to consider prior to all hitting level 2. Is anyone planning to put any decent investment into said skills? I'm not talking about massive amounts, but something decent.
I am considering doing a small rebuild (basically swapping out a trait to get Diplomacy as a class skill) and putting a point into it each level. Maybe looking for an item or two that could help down the road. It wouldn't be anything ground-breaking, but I always like to be able to back up decent roleplay with adequate rollplay.
Cortina Hagen

Well, the player who left us played a bard, so he would have had all the CHA skills covered...
At level 2 Cortina (CHA 6) will put 1 skill point into Diplomacy - it is a class skill for her and therefore will net her a positive skill bonus of +2, that should help with aid another. Unfortunately, she only gets 4 skill points/level.
However, with a positive modifier (CHA 13), all social skills as class skills and 9 skill points/rogue level, Paul Montrose looks like a good candidate for a bit of Bluff and/or Diplomacy and/or Intimidate. ;-)
bluedove
Yeouch! Well, that's the way the fortune cookie crumbles sometimes. ^_~
Shall we proceed on to the Wall of Names or did we wish to make a stealthy attempt here before moving on?
Paloma has decent CHA, but no class bonus for Diplomacy.
bluedove
Ok, we can assume you keep an eye out for favorable conditions, such as Hadriana being on the far side of the Necropolis on her patrol. I have set the map accordingly. You will need a stealth to move in and a separate stealth check to open the mausoleum door at -4, I will figure negatives to her perception for your distance as well.

Time for housekeeping, double check your info on the sign-up link above, looks like the XP, Prestige and Fame fields are not complete on all characters.
If anyone has any Day Job rolls, now is the time.

No day job here.
Who's up next? I could, but not until the GameDay wraps up.
I can run citadel of flame pretty easily, I’m mostly done running it standard in gameday.

You have been very busy! Thanks for everything, John.
Citadel of Flame sounds good to me. I'll leave a little more time today before I finalize everything. Hope everyone had a good Gameday!

I just saw I forgot to post the purchases Cortina made... *facepalm*
Shopping (chronicle #3):
- Wand of CLW: 2 PP
- MW Tool (Date Stamp) for Profession (Librarian): 50 GP
TOTAL: 50 GP and 2 PP
As she just got her 3rd XP I will rebuild her partly.

Day Job roll:
Profession: Librarian, MW tool, Take 10: 10 + 9 + 2 = 21
bluedove
Ok! Session is reported and chronicles are emailed! Let me know if anything is incorrect or you didn't receive.
Have to say I like this RPG Chronicles system. Generating chronicles was always a pain for me, but this makes it super easy. ^_^
Paloma will be looking forward to seeing you all again. As soon as she is done agonizing over her final build just a smidge... XD

The chronicle looks fine. Thanks for running!
I have some gear to buy, but other than that Paul is advanced. He took another level in Rogue to get Trap Spotter and Evasion. Next level he'll start going up in Fighter.

Chronicle is gtg. Good boons.
And that gem is cool, gives a relatively cheap (2PP or 750g) way to bypass magical darkness if you don’t have darkvision (not deeper darkness, but still useful).

Cortina needs a day or two to rebuild - as a reach cleric.
