However, online, I have no direct way of proving that you *don't* have one of those, so... *shrugs*.
We operate on the honor system around here!
Well, I like to be sure I'm on the up and up. Some online games require proof and it would be perfectly within your rights/responsibilities to ask for it. I just wish there was a more concise listing of what qualifies.
I'm less fussed about it now that most of the party is passing their saves. I just didn't want to get shoved into a non-consensual game of spin-the-bottle with these things! XD

I usually put such things on my tagline such as T-Shirt Reroll (TSRR) marked with True(1) or False(0). Presume I should add Folio Reroll (FRR) as well.
I am pretty sure you only get one reroll per game though, even if you have multiple options that would qualify.
I most definitely get my reroll now. Bought a lanyard and a bushel of pins!
I'm going to look into the faction pins too, Paloma. Getting a bonus on some skills will help Ryul and a lot of my other PC's.
Glad you got something for that reroll!

Oh, oops. I thought with the true strike cast, you were requesting it. I think only the fighters are likely proficient, but they both have higher damage dealing weapons so they might not want to swap. Also they have both moved away from Faldon, out of handing range.

Chronicles have now been e-mailed out.
Fast work, GM! It's been a blast! ^_^
Does anyone have any journal card items to check off? Maybe recruiting Nigel?
All I have available is to
"Forgo your Downtime to map ley lines attuned to the elements. Doing so requires a successful Craft (maps), Knowledge
(geography), Knowledge (planes), or Profession (cartographer) check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level."
Knowledge(Geography): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
So who's up next? =D

I was going to and I probably still could, even though I'm GMing four games on these here forums.
Also I presume Wayfinders are Core items. Do Core characters get them for free or do we need to pay for them?

.The next few on the list that noone played yet are:
0-37: The Beggar's Pearl (1-2, 3-4, 6-7)
0-39: The Citadel of Flame (1-2, 4-5)
0-43: The Pallid Plague (1-2, 3-4, 6-7)
This appears to be the last discussion about the next couple game options. There was also a great comment about skipping the tier 1-7 scenarios until we hit level 3, so my thought is we run 0-39 next. I am cool with buying and preparing it for play if we want to go with it next. Alternate suggestions are also welcome.

GM, did we do either of these things in this scenario?
Defeat an outsider that has the evil subtype or an undead creature whose CR is at least equal to your character level.
Defeat a divine spellcaster whose patron is an evil deity and whose CR is at least equal to your character level.

They are CORE-legal (being in the Guide to Organised Play, and all that), but you need to pay for them, although the Society gives you a 50% discount... so they cost 250gp.
Gotcha, but if either I or phaeton_nz (Jack) runs The Confirmation for the group, we get one for FREE on that Chronicle. =D
I can definitely run next if Jack is too busy just now. But I think it might have been an issue that you can only play The Confirmation once with a level 2 character, otherwise it is only evergreen for level 1's. Not sure about GMing it for credit.

Ooh, the Vargouilles are indeed evil outsiders. Even though no one had Knowledge(Planes) to identify them. ^_^

Regarding the Wayfinder from the Confirmation, that isn't quite correct.
(Spoiled for those who have not actually played it):
@Ryul: you definitely defeated both an evil outsider, and an undead (although you can only check 1 box per scenario). No Evil clerics, unfortunately.

Ohhh, so that *any* doesn't draw distinctions between standard and core?
Ah well, I can still run next if it works out better. But again, I don't have the three GM TOP mentioned. I do have The Confirmation and First Steps: In Service to Lore, which are both evergreen when played with level 1's.

There *should* be a distinction between the two, since stuff that happens in Standard doesn't port over to CORE, and vice versa.
However, there might be people like me in this group who have done it a few times, so I just wanted them to be aware.
*Cough* Between playing and GMing, I have done The Confirmation 20 times, and In Service To Lore 13 times! *Cough*
That said, I have no objections to doing it again.

If it's ok with the group, I'd like to seize the opportunity and try my hand at running The Confirmation for you - it would be my first pbp game as a GM.
GM school is going very extremely slow: We started in March and will (hopefully) complete the second(!) of six quests in the next few days.
So I thought that - as a new GM - I might as well grab the opportunity to run a scenario in pbp that I played and also ran as GM(!) in person because there aren't many of these...
Just give me a couple of days to prepare the slides.
Would that be ok for you?
If someone happens to have a Confirmation slide I could copy from and is willing to let me do so, it would speed up the preparation phase considerably.
However, I don't know if copying whole maps (or slides) from someone else is considered bad form/behaviour or even cheating(!) around here - or maybe just efficient. (I am a computer programmer, we copy and then adapt code all the time, so it might be second nature to me...*shrugs*)
Just let me know, please.

            Fine with me!
Copying of a lot of things like that is widely accepted. Usually someone asks permission for something and the creator says something like, “oh sure, I borrowed it from ‘x’ and they are good with sharing it so go ahead”. I’ll see if I can find one of my confirmation slide decks but I bet someone else beats me to it.

I don’t think we are planning to require this, but I will still try to do it each session.
Ryul is purchasing the following:
Wand CLW: 2PP
MW Elven Curve Blade: 380g
And don’t forget, until your PC is played at level two you can do complete and total rebuilds for free.

MW Cold Iron Scimitar 330 gp
Acid Flask 10 gp
I'd go for a climbing kit if I could afford it, but alas! I am broke, lol!
Probably better buy my wand of CLW too for 2pp, given our healer will be the GM for this round. Have we lost Faldon entirely? Also will Jack be able to join us for The Confirmation, or will phaeton_nz need to bring a different character?

I have both played and run it, but in Standard, neither yet in Core.
How long do we wait to hear back from Faldon? The last post on the recruitment thread was from someone who missed the sign up, but was interested in filling in if we had an opening.
I have 39 replay points - I'm not concerned.
O_o Wow, I have 5... XD
But I haven't played near as much as some of you, so I also probably won't need any.

This one's also repeatable. The question was more aimed at knowing which (if any) of us might not be familiar with the scenario--if any of us haven't played it, they'd get to lead the party.
Also too, I'm in another rotation with ‘Eκάτη (the other player who was interested in joining), and they've been pretty good.

Given that Paloma will be one of the few, if not the only one capable of operating our shiny new CLW wands, she will not be scouting for this scenario. Instead, she will take a more supportive role and hang with the cool kids at the back of the class. ^_~
