"Godsdamn!" Zaidel breathed. "That took a turn..Oh sh|t! ACCEPT MITE QUEST!!" The satyr shouts to the mist. A blue screen pops up and says "Quest accepted."

"Everybody okay?" The cleric asks.

"Any pain in the joints or is it just this gash?" The satyr examines Angelica's leg, running his fingers along her elegant leg.

Zaidel looks up to where he hears the half-giant's voice in the mist. "Jon, there are times when I feel like the weakest link.
Matthew's a literal Beast, Jean's a multiattack madman, and you are so fricking big and strong! You guys are the 'stars' that hang in Aeria Gloris's sky, as far as I'm concerned."

From the mist you hear the crunching stop and hear his gravelly voice echo, "I would still be buried if it wasn't for Davin. We joined your group. Jean and I are likely the only ones who can sniff out these mites. Like you said, we are a team and that is what matters. We just need to get proper gear and in New Faces I can show you a lot of the hidey holes that hold great bonuses. Ah there you are!" With that he goes quiet for a bit, soon after returning to the group. Looking at Zaidel and asking, "Do you have prestidigitation, for all of this?" He indicates the blood on his shirt, neck, mouth, etc. His pants look like they never got touched, though they are green cargo pants not like the basic linen brown leggings he had before. Also you see he has a fancy set of black gloves on as well. Two bags are now attached to his belt. His greatsword rests in one hand and his shoulder. In the other hand he holds a suit of hide armor.

Once he has been cleaned up he puts on the hide armor and secures the bindings. Rearranging his gear to work well with his hide armor.

DM:
As the screen came up, he stopped for a moment and accepted his rewards. The sp would come from the mayor. He leaves the wood Reward for later and accepts his Random loot box.
3d100 ⇒ (84, 18, 13) = 115

He puts on the gloves and replaces his pants with his new pair, putting the old pair in his bag of gold. But before that he pulls most of the gold coins and puts them in the blue screen store, 475 gp of it. 25 gp still in the bag with his dirty pants. Using 30 gp he claims a suit of hide armor.


With the last swishing sound and the following thud, a blue screen appears before all the Chosen:

With emotion in his voice, Zaidel replies, "That does it, Mister. You are getting a big hug!" After the caydenite cares for Angelica, Zaidel finds and jumps up to give Jon a hug.

Zaidel was originally after the loot boxes, but decides against them and chooses cedar wood. If the blue screens give an option, the cleric will store the cedar wood in the Blue Screen vault.

Before Aeria Gloris goes inside to enjoy some food and rest, Zaidel stops everyone. "I guess together we are pretty powerful. But we can always be better." The satyr takes Davin's Wishstone from his pocket and holds it aloft.

Wishstone:
Zaidel is deliberate and slow in what he says. "I Wish that every member of the adventuring group, Aeria Gloris; past, present, and future; transform to the gestalt classes of their choice!"

As Zaidel makes the wish he nods in appreciation. Letting the magic suffice his body. He thinks on what other class he would take and asks, "Should I become a ninja or sorcerer?"


With the selection of cedar wood a cedar chest appears on the ground. A key is in the lock, with a simple twist it unlocks and you can open the chest finding many gold coins within it. After counting them you find 25 gp.

You do gain all three rewards and may claim them later as necessary. Though sometimes you must claim them from vendors, in this case the mayor of Owl Port.

"Thank you for that healing, it should be enough for now." Most of the dagger slash has vanished leaving only a raw red line.

She drops to the ground moaning softly. The wishes magic seems to have overloaded her.

Wish magic has been detected. The spell shall be refracted and distributed based on the original wish." With that said rays of magic hit each companion within the group. +2 to two ability scores of your choice.

"Woohoo!" Zaidel bleats, as he unlocks his cedar chest. So is the cedar chest the random loot box or is that a separate thing?

The magical ray shoots through Zaidel's chest, granting him the ability boost. Once Mia floats back down, Zaidel catches her with a sad look on his face.

"Mia, does this mean the wish failed for you. You can't become a gestalt class?"
Zaidel takes the +2 in both Intellect and Wisdom.

Jon started at the words 'Wish', worrying for a second the cursed scroll he was carrying had someone activated, but it seemed to be another random loot thing. Interesting.

Taking a breath as the light touched him, Jon's knee...cracked sharply. It clearly wasn't the most comfortable thing ever, but despite the wince the giant waggled the leg, clearly moving it better. Not completely repaired, but he was likely faster now.

"Gestalt means acquiring a second class, right?" Jon said, pondering himself what else he should be. There were...a lot of choices, after all, and he had a few ideas for ways to become a better warrior.

Rolling a shoulder, he decided to see what loot item he got, putting off the additional class for now.

Does the gestalt kick in now, or when we level up?

I don't even have a class. Do I become gestalt dragon(s) or a celestial dragon...


The cedar chest is a seperate thing from the Random Loot box. As is the 18 sp you can claim from the mayor.

Gestalt kicks in now once you select your other class. Jean I would say you can gain 2 levels in a class of your choice. Jon do you want me to roll for you, for your random loot box?

He says enthusiasticly, "Wow, thank you everyone, that was amazing! Now onto business, do we want to stop for the night or try for one of the other quests? Wait didn't somebody have some armor they weren't using? Was there any other gear that would help anyone?" With the infusion of magic his muscles bulk up more and he seems more majestic.

DESCRIPTION

This armor is similar in appearance to breastplate of command and functions as a +1 breastplate. However, when it is worn, the armor causes the character to take a –4 penalty to Charisma. All unfriendly characters within 300 feet have a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls against her. The effect is not noticeable to the wearer or those affected. In other words, the wearer does not immediately notice that donning the armor is the cause of her problems, nor do foes understand the reason for the depth of their enmity.

It has the opposite effect granting a +2 to Charisma. All unfriendly characters within 300 feet don't care to strike you, +1 morale bonus to your AC.

Zaidel takes the orange pendant from the bag and puts it on. "Nice." The satyr then carefully removes the duck from the bag. "Be free, little one, and stay out of trouble."

Zaidel, being so worried about others, did realize he was now gestalt as well. he felt the change come over him like ionized air. The satyr raised his hand to the air and snapped his fingers, casting the bard spell, summon instrument. An acoustic guitar dropped into his waiting hands, along with a guitar pick. Quickly strapped the guitar strap around his shoulder, Zaidel began to play and sing.

Jon shook his head at the breastplate with a deep chuckle. More armour...he couldn't wear. Someone was absolutely having a fun time laughing at him and his luck with armour. Well, probably not. But it was definitely becoming a frustration for the giant.

Still, he had some thoughts on how to deal with his armour issue. It was becoming apparent that people his size just weren't easy to equip. Well, if that was going to be the case, then perhaps it was time that he dealt with his equipment himself. If he could not buy what he needed then, hell, he'd just have to create and summon it for himself. "Alright, I've decided."

Brass lines formed across the giants skin as he chose his new class, weaving an intricate pattern of metallic tattoos and symbols as his new powers manifested. Once they were completed, Jon took a breath, admiring the glittering additions to his skin. They looked cool, and Jon could feel it in the back of his mind. Well, maybe I've watched too many animes with transformation sequences, but this should be fun.

Jon will the form he wanted, and the brass lines responded, forming a massive suit of bronze armour around the giant in the time it took to blink. The lines expanded, flowed out, and solidified into massive metal plates, thick and heavy. Joins got a dark leather-like material, to allow some flexibility - but Jon was never going to be a dancer.

A full great helm appeared on Jon's head, too, because he needed his brain, and a thick collar to keep his neck uncut. And a heavy, fur-lined longcoat, because aesthetic was a thing he could choose,

"Welcome to the Bard club, Zaidel," Jon said from within the armour. "Hope you find it fun." Jon was not a traditional bard, by anyone's measure, and now he was...even less so.

I went with Symbiotic Knight Armorist as my new class, because Large gear is gonna be a pain. This way I'm just gonna make my own, and laugh.

His smile grows hearing the new bard's song. His head nods in rhythm to the song. Looking at Jon he states, "Wow, that is some anime craziness!"

"Does anyone know where the other quests are located? If not we should head back and ask about both of them." He points out. As the group still does not respond to the question his face looks a bit pained and then walks into the mist, heading back the way you came from. "Back to the inn then, Jean I will scout ahead."

As he walks he thinks to himself out loud, "Ninja, sorcerer, ninja, pirate! Noo!" He pulls out the phone but still can't look up anything and puts it back.

You can hear tearing of flesh and popping of bones, he adds a howl after the transformation is complete.

"That sounds best", Zaidel agrees. "The other quests aren't timed, so we can complete them at our leisure. Plus we need to find the Mayor to get rewarded for the Mite quest."

For now, it'll get packed away unless someone else wants it. And no, using it in heavy mode - the Symbiote has no ASF, and Armorist gives me proficiency in heavy armour, so this is the one suit of heavy armour I can actually wear.

Zaidel:

You have been transported at least by your Astral form. Your uncle looks at you amused. He then says, "You so enjoy the hard road my little rose. Chosen is not a class that you can take. It is someone making the choice to be the hero. You have already done this by your actions. You must merely accept it and make a wish." With said Mia is transported back to her body.

The satyr sweeps the new paladin in his arms and hugs her.
"I can't believe it!! I'm so proud! And soooo jealous! That's so unbelievably cool!" Zaidel laughed. "No, I don't have any extra holy symbol, but we'll find you one at the earliest convenience!"
The caydenites part as Zaidel puts Mia down, then immediately kneels down before the silver-eyed terrier.
"Hello, friend. It is good to meet you!"

After the revelation of Mia's new gestalt class, Zaidel was in high spirits. The smiling satyr, almost gleeful, approach the torch-beating guards.
