He has skinned before and his practiced hands show it but he is far from a master. As they skin he asks questions, "So you are a sorcerer, right? What is your super power? Do you have any questions about you being protected by me? It's kinda like Wheel of Time. The warder and his mage." He says between bites as Davin watches. It does make it easier to show Davin some techniques of how to skin, in which he remembers really well.

"Yeah, with the primal bloodline, which means I'm kinda like an arcane druid, as I have a close connection to nature, animals, and plants. I have extraordinary luck as my super power. Back on Earth, I was nicknamed Lucky or Lucky Monkey, among others." He replies to his friend's questions. "Okay, yeah, I get that, I read the Wheel of Time. Actually, now that I think about it, you kinda remind me of Elyas. Who was a total badass! As awesome as the Asha'Man were, if I could, I think I would rather be a Wolfbrother. That scene in Lord of Chaos, when Perrin calls upon the wolves. 'They have caged Shadowkiller. We come.' gives me chills just thinking about it."

"Alright Mr Delathor, I'll see what I can do." After they finish eating, he excuses himself, and goes outside to attempt his spell.

Casting Call Animal, would like to call a wolf(preferably a non corrupted one, lol), but any sort of predator will do. I'll spend an Inspiration point to take 20(total of 28) on my Nature check to figure out what's around, and call what's appropriate.

When whatever he calls shows up, Davin greets it politely, speaking to it in it's language. Primal Voice class feature "Hello friend, one was hoping one could convince you to stay here for a time, and protect the two legs that lives here. He is taking care of many young, and could use a fierce guardian like yourself." 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (6) + 22 = 28 Diplomacy.

Primal Voice:

You can speak with the primal creatures of the world. You gain the ability to speak to animal, plant and vermin type creatures as if you shared a language. This allows you to make Diplomacy, Bluff or Intimidate checks on such creatures and affect them with language-dependent spells or effects, with a bonus equal to 1/2 your class level. Mindless creatures are still immune to demoralize attempts.

Zaidel pulls up the blue screen Store and goes to the Weapons tab and looks for a longbow.

"150gp?!"
Grumbling, the satyr purchases one long bow, twenty common arrows and a quiver for 152 gp. The weaponry appears in Zaidel's hands as he gives them to the huntress. "There you go. You can't access any blessing from Erastil if you don't have a bow and arrows, I guess. I accept kisses on the cheek as payment."

"Yeah I don't remember it that well just bits and pieces." He says and focuses on consuming the wolves, about halfway through he states, "I don't think I am getting as many bonuses. Listening to Zaidel, Jon opened up the new store menu and looked into the new thing. Maybe he could grab a shield or armour from this thing. Then he'd go see a man about a scroll.


Opening up the store and going to the armor section Jon sees that the light armor is showing first. At the top you can see the tabs for other items and below that is light, medium, heavy, and shields.

Wolf, just an fyi, I hadn't replied yet cuz I waiting to see if you were going to post a response to my attempt to call a wolf and my diplomacy check. Would have totally gone with Locke to help, but didn't wanna keep jumping back and forth in time.

"Well, let's go do that. That's why we were out here anyways. I assume you killed the 'Banshee of the North'?" Davin says, upon seeing Matthew return.

She looks a bit sheepish after his outrage of the cost but before she said anything it was bought. "Yes that is true." She says in response to the mention of Erastil. Then she leans over and gives Zaidel a kiss on his cheek, "Thank you!" She says before bounding outside to try out her new bow.

"Not sure what she was, she attacked me first luckily she used venom on me. With the burst of adrenaline I was able to slice her up with my greatsword. Sure she took me down a few times but with my fast healing I was quickly back into the fight." He relays as he walks to the North.

Under an hour we return to the unicorn's glade. There he goes to sit next to the unicorn seeing if the horn will reattach. Still holding the heart in his other hand.

"Come on, everyone!" The satyr shouts to the others. "Let's so to the unicorn and she if she revives!" Hope we're not too late!


The horn magically reattached and the heart began to float above the unicorn's body. With a swish of energy the heart dissipates and the unicorn's body shudders. It takes some time but within minutes without any help the unicorn slowly recovers.

As Zaidel exits the bar and calls again, she claims her arrows from the tree she was shooting at and followed.

Davin grins at Locke "You, my friend, are a total badass. You'll have to tell me about how your powers work at some point. If we're supposed to be akin to Warder and Aes Sedai, it would help if I knew about your capabilities."

He stands in awe as the magic of horn and heart returns the unicorn to life. "Holy wow! I can't believe that worked! That was amazing! Such good jobbers Matt!"

A bit flabbergasted that it was talking Davin likely began to speak first.


With the aid of the channels the unicorn recovers quicker. It is upon its feet after the fifth channel but embraces the wonderful feeling of positive energy. It lets out a long neigh and then says in common, "Thank you my heroes, you have vanquished that evil fey and restored me. I am glad that my horn was returned within the time, otherwise I would have perished. How can I ever repay you?"

It takes a few moments for Davin to recover from the state of stupefied awe he was in as the unicorn comes back to life. "You are most welcome, though if I am being honest, it was Locke here who slew the fae. Was there a particular reason she killed you, other than she's evil and probably wanted your horn for vile purposes?"


"As far as I know, those were her intents." The unicorn replies.

"Well, I'm not sure how you can repay us, but if you'd like, you can accompany my fellow Chosen and I. We've been tasked with battling the dark souls and keeping Arcanium safe, and having a unicorn as an ally would go a long way towards accomplishing those goals." Davin is a bit at a loss for words, as it's not every day you resurrect a heckin unicorn! and then get to talk to it!

1d20 + 21 ⇒ (10) + 21 = 31 Diplomacy, +1 if it's helpful or friendly. Gah, bad roll, gonna use my Luck power to re-roll.

Niversal will walk out with the group getting out of the construct and walking at half speed all the way out to continue to work off steps until they arrive at the unicorn. Niversal will look at what the quest reward was for completing this quest and if the device knows how much further to go in steps to remove the curse of the loadstone he got as he wants to be done with that too.

It took several hours but the group of Chosen trekked out to the unicorn's grove, to witness the unicorn (a live unicorn) chatting with the missing sorcerer and his warden.

Trying to push his anger down, the satyr is overcome with the feeling of relief to see the unicorn alive and well.

"See me alive again? Did you meet me before?" The unicorn replies a bit confused. "Oh... I see. Thank you for helping me. I feel a bit queasy, gassy, and I ache all over. But I don't hurt."

You can barely tell as it sounds like a feminine voice but a few little clues make you think the unicorn is male.

Davin bows respectfully. "I would gladly accept your ward, provided doing so does not rob you of an extra defender for your domain."

Addressing Niversal and Zaidel, he says. "Sorry I chose to stay out here with Locke, but I couldn't just leave him alone. We apparently have a bond like the one tween Warder and Aes Sedai from the Wheel of Time. He would be my Warder, but he's also my friend. It also gave me time to connect with my inner primal nature." He hopes his explanation is enough to soothe any hurt feelings.


"She is not that experienced, she is what I offer. You can also choose to not take her." The unicorn responds.

You believe that another reward would be in store for you should you refuse the ward.

Davin chuckles at the unicorn's reply. "That's okay, we're not very experienced ourselves. She can learn along with us." He responds graciously. "Oh, before I forget, do you have a name? And may we call upon you for aide, should the need arise?"

perhaps taking a friend from the unicorn might be a problem on two fronts. First we are getting into danger a lot with our quests as chosen. Second the unicorn could use such a friend more then we can. Niversal says as he looks at the menagerie of chosen standing around to make his point.

"Mia tends to travel with us. I am not sure its wise, but the ward was mentioned in the blue log. We may just need to come up with a way to protect those who are starting to follow along with us." Jean says in reply to Niversal. He shrugs and then continues, "But she seems to be hinting that we can choose something else instead."

But, like Davin said, Mia is learning with all of us. And is an important member of Team Cayden!" The cleric pats Mia's shoulder in support, but then a shocked look comes over his face. "Oh! "Anyway. Forest Lord. I would like to ask for two of your tears, please? One for me and my companion."


The unicorn responds, "If you are in my neck of the Winter Woods, you may call upon Elizabor when in need."

"Show me the wound or the vial you want my tears in and I shall oblighe you." He says in response to the request of his tears.

He would give up to four tears right now and then states, "I need some water to drink and collect my ward. Please wait here and I will be back shortly." I am sure someone would offer some water and he would accept it. He runs off to the North and returns after about an hour. Upon his back is a cloaked figure. Once within 30 feet he slows down to a stop and she easily dismounts from the unicorn.

He would take a step forward after she asks for protection, he would look to the others and let them offer their services first, if no one does step forward he would.

He would pull out his poultice and unravel the string holding it together. Then balancing it he would approach the unicorn and receive the tears.

Zaidel takes out his bill pillbox, now empty. The satyr opens the pillbox and places it under the unicorn's eye and receives the two teardrops.
