"Any rogues among us?" Zaidel turns to the gathered Chosen. "Bard needs his pants and gear in the barn."

Jean looks over at the barn. "Opening doors is not really my thing."
Does the door seem to be open or is there the hayloft open?
Zaidel
Zaidel nods at the half-elf, and tries to quietly make his way to the barndoor and open it.

"I can give him my shirt," Jon offered. "Not pants, as such, but I don't mind walking around topless and it'll cover any indecency." Of course, Jon could offer him his pants, but they wouldn't fit. "Sadly, I am not sneaky. My leg's crap so I move slow, and also..." He made a gesture with his hands for 'biiiiiig'.
GM Wolf
Zaidel and Otto head off quietely to the barn, opening any of the doors you soon find it has a high ceiling but no loft. Tools hang on the walls. Two cows and an oxen are munching on hay. There is a large hay pile that is fenced in. Looking around at the hay you see clothing and equipment including a pair of brown pants.
You hear from within the outhouse, "The door is latched but the main problem is I am stuck in this honeypot!"
Zaidel
The cleric and the arcanist grab the bard's gear and pants while trying to continue to be quiet.

After a moment's hesitation, Drystan says "A temple of whom, praytell?"
Jonathan Garrett.
"Wait, honeypot?" Jon asked. "Alright, well, I can probably break the latch. And remove the honeypot. Maybe?" Was this a name for a toilet that he wasn't familiar with? Because if so someone had a really wierd idea of what happened in an outhouse. Honey was very rarely involved. Usually.

"I think we are going to need to break it before the time runs out." Jean says as he frowns at the latched door.
Zaidel
Holding some of the bard's gear, Zaidel lets of a bleat of frustration.
"For the Sake of F-f-a...!" The cleric stops himself swearing in front of Sam. The satyr drops the gear and clothes into Jacen's arms, as the caydenite tries to open the outhouse door. "Don't worry. I'm a cleric." Zaidel speaks softly through the door.

"This is a place of shrines to the gods. No one specific god, though I might be slightly partial to Ollandra the Elven goddess of fortune. She is the Sovereign of Feast and Good Fortune. Though she can be called upon at this shrine other gods can as well, like Cayden Cailean or Demeter. Chosen all of the gods that were created in your world were inspired by them who exist here." "I am in here all by myself."
As Zaidel pulls on the door you hear a bit of groaning but nothing happens.

Jon reached out with one massive hand, grabbing the door and pulling. The door came away with concerning ease. Jon looked down in mild surprise. Doors getting broken down, sure. He'd worked in a hotel, and drunk people forgot how doors worked and panicked with depressing frequency. But that was concerningly simple.
Looking at the naked man in the outhouse, Jon was not exactly shocked. Crap and naked people held no fear for him, so he just nodded. "I take it you're stuck? Would you prefer a hand, or would you like me to find something to lever yourself out with?"
Zaidel
"Jon, if you agree to pull him out, I'll assist, and have a cure spell at the ready." Zaidel said, crinkling his nose.

Jean thought the smell was bad before they opened the door, but as the smell hit his now much more sensitive door he scuttles backwards sneezing and exclaims, "Wow...that smells terrible!"

I will try to inject myself here, hope I'm doing this right.
Suddenly finding himself with wings, Bill practices by flying through a portal to see a colorful sign and a set of large buildings. "This is amazing!" he says aloud to nobody, hardly believing what was happening. After soaring around for a bit, he decides to investigate the dome-like building that seems the most impressive. Having no idea which of the shrines would be of interest, he decides to drop in on some folks, swooping down from the air.
"Gods, you say? That's very interesting. Is it common to pray to all of them, or devote yourself to just one, as you have?" He hesitates a moment as attention is drawn to him. "Pardon--the name's Bill," he says. "Though in this new world, my name sounds awfully drab."

"You could always choose a new one. A new name for a new life, as it were." Drystan says, turning to the newcomer. Turning back to the cleric, he says "Interesting. I should like to look around at the gods of this place, to find one worthy to venerate. A virtuous, honorable and brave lord. The sort any knight would be happy to call his liege."

"Bill, some worship many and some worship one. It is left up to the worshipper. Most gods are good with seperate praise. Now... knight... it sounds like you are looking for Sarenrae, Irori, Heronius, St. Cuthbert, or Apollo. Sure there are others." The elf states.
GM Wolf
The bard nodded and reached his hands towards Jon. "Quickly let's get this over with."
After a horrible sloppy noise, most clear out. Luckily the 'Breeze' kept the smell away. With a cure spell from Zaidel and prestidigitation from Jon, the bard was looking much better. "Thank you all for your help," He states as he dresses himself, "I don't have much to reward you with though. Here if you accept it take my buckler, my leather armor, and my backup dagger." You don't each get the 1st 3 rewards but those are given to the group from the bard.
Then you all get a blue screen that says:
Quest Accomplished

Fetch me my brown pants

Find the bard in need of rescuing and help him out of a sticky situation. Yes you did!
1st Reward: leather armor
2nd Reward: buckler
3rd Reward: dagger

Zaidel
Zaidel takes the leather armor. "Thanks, buddy."
In the hands of the satyr it looks like ordinary leather armor, but once Zaidel awkwardly put on the armor, it shrinks and molds to the satyr's body. The lower half of the armor shifts to a leather kilt, giving his goat legs lots of room to move.
"Well, lads. I'm going to see you guys back in town. I need to return Sam back to his pit duties." Zaidel puts Sam back on is back. "But first, let's to a circuit around the town. What'd say?"

"Well I say we should ask Sam if he has ever seen his town ... from up above! Maybe he will grow up to learn to fly, and I would be happy to give him a lift. Roland was good to me and it would be a small favor to the lad."

"Everyone could certainly come hunting with me, I am sure that would be a shared quest, and even if it isn't, we could make it one. Track some wild boars for Roland, and then split the reward? I could only bring them back 1 at a time myself, it would actually really help."

"Sam, do you want to fly back?" Zaidel asked the boy, concern in his voice.
Jonathan Garrett.
"Hey Sam," Jon said slowly, Prestigiditating the worst of the...muck...off the bard. "Don't suppose you know the fletcher's daughter and where she might be?"
The main quest sounded interesting, but Jon had always preferred to get beefed up before fighting the first boss if possible. Making a boss cry was always hilarious.

Bill raw power would be Kord, Hercules, Nethys, though nearly any God gives power to their faithful.
The boy nods his head and says, "Yes, I think that would be great. Thank you Zaidel for carrying me. I know the fletcher's daughter, Emily. She should be with her father up North. Or hunting up north."
Jonathan Garrett.
"Then I shall head north. Have fun, kid, in ways that result in less trips to the outhouse." Now that the toilet drama was done, the missing girl came next.
Zaidel
GM Wolf, what time of day is it currently on Arcanium?

Bill nods. "Very well. Then I shall study these."
He begins to learn about the different Gods, but neither Kord nor Hercules seem at all appropriate. Nethys seems intriguing--the power of magic? He put a pin on that as he continued exploring.
And then Bill comes across something intriguing. A pentagram. Surely the sign of evil magic, no? That was what he had learned, from his previous life. And yet he sensed a bargain to be had. As he knelt before the shrine, he saw a contract materialize beside a ritual knife. He read it. A deal to trade servitude for power. While the other gods demanded grand faith for uncertain reward, here was a god that was clear. Bill certainly understood contracts, and this one seemed more than fair. Is this the path of corruption? he wonders to himself. But he pushes the thought aside. Even if there was darkness, he himself was not evil. Biting his lip as he gently pricked his index finger with the ritual knife, Bill signs. But in a different name. SAGE LI he writes in a bloody scrawl.

Drystan spends some time browsing the temple, looking though various books and collections of statues, before he comes across one that immediately jumps out at him; an angelic figure, with five flaming wings rising from his back. The statue is labeled "Ragathiel, the General of Vengeance". After a bit more searching, he is able to track down a chronicle that speaks of Ragathiel. A risen devil, now a burning angel who commands heaven's armies, guards its boundaries? This is the one." Unsure quite how deities are addressed in this...place, he does his best to address him nonetheless. "Ragathiel, if thou canst hear me, I beseech thine holy aid. Guide me in this place, and make me your champion, a force for good here, and burning punishment to evildoers. Amen." He looks around. Hmm. How do I know if that worked?
