As the group walks she lets down her hood revealing long and pointed ears. She answers questions and relays information about herself. She is under 200 years old, she hasn't kept track. Her family was from the Winter Forest but Ice Bears slaughtered them. She and her older sister Silistra were saved by the unicorn. She loves nature and has gotten along with fey swimmingly figuratively and literally. She has a unique connection with nature as she has not chosen her domain yet. "Wow! An actual REAL elf!" Zaidel gasped. "Well, as a satyr, I'm sure well get along swimmingly as well! I have a few questions. Can you see for miles in any direction? Can you walk so lightly you walk on snow without sinking? I'm asking because the planet most of us are from only know elves as creatures in legendary tales, and some tales give elves abilties far beyond normal ken."

The talk of connections reminded Zaidel of something he heard about one of his companions.
"Angelica? You father mentioned briefly you had a connection with light. You definitely revere many Gods of 'Light'. Do you have another connection with light?"

Back in New Beginnings before the one who took the unicorns horn was found. Niversal would have went looking for ammunition. The general store didn't have anything. Back with the group he bought cartridges from the 'Chosen' store. He took the first one and slipped it into his bandolier and *POW!* It sounded like his rifle went off but the cartridge was in Niversal. His bandolier shot him! Damage to yourself equal to your rifle. Trust me that is better than the alternative. That is correct I am track8ng all your items for a reason. Please record items on your character sheet. If they arent there then you left it behind somewhere...

After the horn touched her she could feel the magic growing. She was gasping but not to breathe but to get the magic out. Practically dry heaving she looks in pain. Then she lifts into the sky, her head thrown back, and you can see black tar like magic thrusting out of her open mouth.

What do you do?


The unicorn let his tears drop into her mouth. With no luck the unicorn dropped his horn and a light grew upon the tip. With a touch from his horn and a flash of light Mia was gasping.

The unicorn backs up not sure what is happening stunned for the first round.

Looking to the others, Zaidel speaks. "Now I'm thinking one more night at The Pig's Roast might not be a bad idea. Mia could use a solid bath, and a solid clinical lookover to rid her of any damaging aftereffects of the curse. If nothing else, some mouthwash."

"Where is your sister now? As for which domain you should choose, as Zaidel pointed out, I'm a Primal blooded sorcerer. I have strong ties to nature myself, so Animal or Plant would both be good. Though really, all of those are pretty solid choices."

Niversal frowns at what happened and says seems everything I do or get around this place is cursed. I can't seem to have any luck but bad. I have been walking for days and can be rid of this loadstone. Everytime I try to use my rifle it seems to drain me if I can't resist it, and now damn bandolier is shooting me. Nothing works the way it should. If I was to be honest it's quite frustrating and seems as if I was being punished for something. I am tired of it. Any ideas of how to fix all this?

"A simple identify spell should help a caster identify the curse. There should be many casters capable of casting it and helping with identifying the curse." He replies to Jon.

She tries to rest in the saytr's arms. When they get to town she is dozing. She likely gets tucked into their bed by Zaidel and sleeps.

Zaidel asks for one bed for him and Mia, a bath for Mia, and two boar steaks dinner send up to the room. When Mia is comfortable, the satyr sends for Davin to help make sure the curse doesn't have any lasting effects. The cleric stays by Mia's side, caring for his patient and making sure she's comfortable.
Zaidel thinks Mia, now having the ability to talk again, will wish to talk the night away.

"Perhaps we can look for your sister, or at least learn of her fate, as we travel. I had an older brother, older sister, and younger bro before coming here, so I totally understand sibling bonds." Davin replies to Alia.

Once in town, he notes her moving closer to him. "Not a fan of towns/civilization?" He asks as they make their way to the Pig Roast.

He gets them a room at the inn, but offers to sleep on the floor. When Zaidel sends for him, he knocks politely at their door. "I don't know how much more I'll be able to do, but I can give Mia a once over."

Casting Detect Magic, 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10, no bad rolls! Spending another Luck point for a re-roll 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21.

GM, could I roll an Arcana(or other knowledge) check to see if I might be able to figure out what sort of curse Mia had? If so, I'll spend an Inspiration point to take 20, and cast Sign of Discovery(+2 to a knowledge check) for a total of 31 if Arcana.
