Jacen Benedictt
Jacen comes inside after a while, shirt off, but not really sweating. He looks much much more Elven with his hair pushed behind his ears ...
"Are we flying!? Well that's fun, if you're smaller, I guess. Doesn't seem like most of our mothers told us 'don't fly in the house' when we were younger ...
Jacen ascends a few feet also, to be eye-to-eye with Jonathan
"Hi, I'm Jacen ... seems like you may not have always been a Giant, I mean, here I'm sure you have, like, before here ... nice to meet you. You too wyrmling, well met!"
Zaidel
The satyr claps his hands in appreciation of the sight he's beholding. "Wow! That's awesome!"
Jonathan Garrett.
"Nope, before I was a night receptionist. I only ran into people who thought they could fly, and I was only above average height. So all this is fairly new and unusual. My name's Jonathan. Nice to meet you all." Jon began to offer a hand, then thought better of it. "I'd shake, but I'm still getting use to all this. I fear cracked bones may be involved until I adjust, you know? Sorry to be rude."
Zaidel
"Hi, Jonathan. In this life, I'm called Zaidel. And the lovely woman to my right, is my assistant and cohort, Mia." The satyr said up the the hulking newcomer.

"I am another of the Chosen. I was looking for some help on the main quest. I didn't get any minor quests yet. I wonder if we can join onto yours the way you can in some games. Or if they are unique to the different Chosen." Jean muses as he drops back to land on the floor.

"Well I don't know that it was a quest, but I needed to do some side work to get things moving. Bralani are archers, like I used to be, so I wanted a bow, and some arrows of course, so I was working for Roland to get them."
Mia Thornrose
She waves to each of the new people Zaidel introduces her too. She doesn't say anything.
Jean de Montes
|
Jean thinks back to his time at the camp that he dreaded and said, "Oh..archery was never my thing, but I hope your able to get your bow and arrows arranged."
Jonathan Garrett.
Jon consulted his quest list. "I *think* they're shared quests for us all. I also have one to go forth and grab a bow and arrow. Rescue a Fletcher's Daughter? It was next on my to do list, because missing people are important to find, but the one for the bard ends in 30 minutes, so I thought I should rush that one first."
Jon took note of Mia. It was an interesting use of a wish. Could he have used it to bring his wife back? But then, there was also the kids. Future wishes, maybe.

Jean sniffs around using his new senses to see if he can pick up any lingering smells from a male and a group of interested females leaving the place.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Jacen Benedictt
Jacen how much did you chop or how much time did you spend chopping?
Roland nods and heads out back as John takes on a more alert stance.
Too many smells to pick that up Jean plus it was at least 12 hours ago.
Based on the flow, I feel like it was 90-120 minutes; just wasn't sure that would be enough.

Jim starts moving until he gets to a small sheep village and stops to talk to a Shepard Sir, I wonder if you could direct me or if you have seen anything strange? I happen to have been told I am Chosen. Anyone else around here saying that sort of thing?
Otto Canzone
Otto, seeing the other folks dress in 21st century attire and seeming to have received wishes stands and walks to the clump. "I assume your each chosen as well? Starting to rethink my wish now!" he says as he extends a hand in greeting "I'm Otto"
Niversal
|
The Shepard points to the sky and Jim looks up and his eyes focus on what looks to be a dragon flying in the distance. Jim starts running in the living armor suit. What a joy it is as it thuds across the land whirring and moving toward the dragon.
Zaidel
"I assume your each chosen as well? Starting to rethink my wish now!" he says as he extends a hand in greeting "I'm Otto"
"Hey, Otto!" The satyr says with a wide smile. "Good to see you! I'm Zaidel. This is Mia. Jacen. Jean. And Big John. Chosen all. Except for Mia. Sorry."
Jean de Montes
|
Jean nods to the newcomer and says, "Hello, Otto."
The dragon then looks around and wonders if there was something he was supposed to be doing as well. But after a moment he says, "Well, if we are on a timed mission to find this bard we should probably go looking for him."
Jacen Benedictt
"Just let me get my bow ready, and I will look with you"
Jacen heads out back to find Roland ...
"Roland, how do things look? I want to go hunt a bard before I go hunt your boars, would that be okay?"
Jean de Montes
|
Jean heads out of the tavern as well and approaches a person passing by and says, "Hello." He waits to see if the blue window appears.

In the distance the group spies someone running toward them with a modern rifle sling on his back with a holster and a modern pistol in a holster on his belt. As the form gets closer you see a construct made of metal coming up to the group until finally the guy arrives and says you look like an odd group, perhaps you all have fallen dead recently and returned to life in a dystopian fantasy world in order to save the world?
Zaidel
The satyr looks up at the mechanical humanoid.
"I. AM. IRON. MAN!" The caydenite sings, then proceeds to mimic playing an electric guitar.
"Dur. Dur. Dur-Dur, Dur!.."
Otto Canzone

"Something along those lines, I can't tell is this is some elaborate game or actually afterlife though. I think we are trying to find a bard at the moment, care to join us?"
Jean de Montes
|
So close there.
GM Wolf
Jean a blue screen pops up in front of you and moves with you. The others can see the screen too it says:
Quest Unlocked:
---
Fetch me my brown pants
---
Find the bard in need of rescuing and help him out of a sticky situation.
Reward: leather armor
2nd Reward: buckler
3rd Reward: dagger
Time limit: 20 minutes
---
Roland looks to Jacen with an approving look, "Yeah all good here. Of course. Here is your quiver of arrows." He then hands the quiver over to Jacen.
---
A dragon saying hello to a commoner, the commoner flees!
---
Niversal joins the group!
Zaidel
"Quest accepted!" Zaidel shouts at the blue screen.
Jonathan Garrett.
Jon nodded to Zaidel. "Wanna work together? The armour probably isn't gonna fit me anyway." Maybe two of them could complete the damned thing before the time ran out.
Zaidel
"Hell yeah, Big Man!" Zaidel gave Jonathan a 'thumbs-up'. "But we're short on clues and time. I don't have the scent ability despite my wild nature."
The satyr turns to his cohort. "Mia? Do you have any ideas?"
Jonathan Garrett.
"He left with some girls. Most likely he's hiding in a outhouse or something, given the 'bring me my brown pants' part, of the sticky situation refers to trees? I dunno. Depends on the sense of humour of whoever or whatever is giving out quests." He looked at the barman. It seemed unlikely, but...
"Was the fletcher's daughter one of the girls he was with, or was she missing before last night?"
Jacen Benedictt
Jon nodded to Zaidel. "Wanna work together? The armour probably isn't gonna fit me anyway." Maybe two of them could complete the damned thing before the time ran out.
"I thought the act of donning magic armor always made it fit?"
Jacen thinks for a minute ... (well, less, there are only 20)
"There are 2 of us who can fly and I am at least strong enough and fast enough to grab and lift a normal size man into the air, thus removing him from a 'Sticky Situation' - do we know this man's name? Because odds are if we were to try calling out for him, maybe he could call back and we could swoop in and save him. If the grounded take the town, and the dragon and I take the outskirts, we should be able to make this happen. Quickly."
Mia Thornrose
She raises her hands in helplessness but then turns her head around the room and points to the boy turning the spitted pig.
Jonathan Garrett.
"Apparently," Jon agreed. "But she wasn't one of the ladies here last night?"
Looking over at Jacen, he added, "I dunno if magic items can resize, of if the armour is even magic, but I'll take all the help I can get looking for the dude. Even if I was just totally mercenary we'd need to finish ten quests before we're safe to leave, apparently."
Zaidel
The satyr careful walks over to the young boy. "Pardon me, young sir. Me and my new friends were looking for a bard that was here the other day? Have you seen where he went? And where do you think the stickiest place around would be?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 Ting!

Jean takes to the air looking for clumps of bushes with flowers. Kids always joked about going behind the bleachers. Here maybe they just went behind a rose bush.
Mia Thornrose
She comes up and gives Sam a hug. As she takes hold of the spit she pushes Sam towards Zaidel and winks at Zaidel.

Drystan looks around, bewildered, at all the people talking who don't seem to have noticed him. He shrugs and proceeds into the temple. He approaches a priest. "My good man, what is this place?"
"This is a temple how can we help you?" He asks politely of Sir Drystan.
Zaidel
Zaidel kneels down to speak intently to the Spitmaster Sam.
"Sam. If you can show me and my friends where Old Man Yebin's barn is, I give you a piggy back ride there as a treat? Assuming we have your father's permission to take a little break, that is." The satyr looks back at the Roland. "I swear your son's safety will be my chief concern."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 Sure. I'll keep rolling '20s'. No problem.
Zaidel quickly carries Sam on his back out the tavern door. "Ready Sam? Let's see how fast these goat legs can go!"
GM Wolf
Roland says yes. Soon your group is out of the tavern at a fast clip. With Sam's directions you get to the barn, in under 10 minutes. It is a 30 foot by 50 foot barn with a large door in the front which is closed, you see there is a door on its right size meant for humans.
Jean de Montes
|
Seeing everyone heading towards a barn Jean will swoop down to join them.
Zaidel
At the Old Man Yebin's farm, Zaidel considers the options, as he sets young Sam down.
"Well, of all the structures I see, the outhouse looks to be the most 'stickiest'".
