Updating my character sheet to reflect spell preparation and 100GP for crafting. If Zhandar can't spend all 100 GP, she can keep the remainder and use it for future crafting that will benefit the whole group.

The GM needs to load any icons onto the board. If you have an icon built, you can share it with the GM in a google doc. Otherwise, he will create one.

It's actually a haunt not a ghost, so I'm not sure it actually has a particular space for an icon? Can throw one up anyway and just work with it.

I did a bit of reading and it seems like a haunt is really more of an area-specific trap than a creature encounter per se. So Raj can't attack the haunt itself conventionally. We need to use positive energy, haunt siphons, etc. Or figure out it's 'weakness' to damage it.

That's the weird part, yeah. But then you have feats like Soulblade that let you attack them with a melee weapon.

Obviously haunts (and this AP) weren't designed with the newer options in mind, but we'll make do.

By hook or crook, we'll get it done. But Ghostslayer (which I have) is useful against 'incorporeal creatures' and doesn't specifically mention haunts. Since haunts aren't exactly creatures, I'm guessing that Ghostslayer doesn't help me against these guys. Based on RAW, it looks like I can't attack the Marauder with Ghostslayer. Or am I wrong?

Based on whether I can physically go after a haunt (or this haunt specifically since some haunts seem to manifest as creatures while others don't), that will definitely affect my choices and actions next round.

Wanted to take a second before we get into the next room to remind you all that this is a horror themed campaign. I know all of you likely already know that, but 3/4 of you aren’t the ones who originally requested this game be ran and I wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page.

This is a classic horror Adventure Path, which sometimes means bad things will happen to good people. I will not be excessive in describing physical violence or gore, but there are certain moments where descriptions of such events will be necessary to enforce the mood the adventure is trying to portray. If any of you are squeamish, let me know and I’ll put such cases in a spoiler tag for the rest to read.

Just wanted to get ahead of it and iron out any issues we may have had otherwise!

Also, as much upside as there is to using the maps the way I do, there is also a downside. You can clearly see the iconic "secret door S" on the map, but I trust you all to not use the info from maps you shouldn't have.

Don't forget everyone, Zhandar gave you some temporary potions before the ooze intended to help us fight the final ghost. You don't want to wait until after initiative to drink them, since they boost Dex. ;)
