FINALLY: That's it! I'm off to bed and a 6am call at the VA. Wish me luck and I will see you all on the other side hopefully. Please bot my character as needed until I can post again later this week at some point. Everybody have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you. Been dealing with holiday family and weather but hope to be back to normal posting in a few days

Everybody is having it hard from what I'm seeing.
Heck, I just got a PM from a GM that disappeared from a game I was in over 6 months ago. He popped in and apologized for going radio silent, and that was it. He isn't responding to my PMs anymore.
I hope Tark is OK. I would like to keep this game going if we can.

Same. What worries me is that it'll take decades to complete at this pace, even if the GM comes back.

How does that sound for a recruitment post:
Hi everyone! We're a party fo five brave cunning adventurers looking for a new GM. We're about halfway through the first book of Hell's Rebels, and would at least like to finish it. We've been playing together for a while, and would hate to say goodbye to our characters and the good vibes we found along the way.
The group is composed of:
Beorn the Divine- half-orc Bard extraordinaire!
'Tiny Litsy'- is probably just an innocent teenager with no penchant for lies and stealing. Definitely not a Rogue
Variel Nightstorm- Magus. Token 'good guy'. Regrets his life choices.
Pollux and Castor - evil witch, don't ask.
Merelda 'The Widow' Widdomeria- Inquisitor of Calistria, will stab and kiss people, in whatever order she fancies.
If you're interested in running (first of all, thank you, you're a star), please reach out to us! We're excited to meet you :)

Hello all. Tiny's post caught my eye and I'm potentially interested in taking on this challenge. First..a little about me.
I used to be very active on these boards and life beat me down quite a bit. In response I pulled out entirely for a couple years. Recently, I've come back, though at a much more manageable pace. Currently, I have 1 active game I'm playing in online and that is all.
My offline world tends to be busy as I am a 911 dispatcher and EMT. My wife and I are also working on repairing an old building with the hopes of opening a coffee shop/bakery in my home town. I also have a special needs 3 year old daughter that has me wrapped around her tiny fingers.
Me as a GM:
I am well versed in 1e and have run hell's rebels for my regular group that meets in person. I started running it online before I stepped away but failed to complete it at that time. I am a big fan of this AP. On PbP, I historically requested a minimum of 1 post per weekday and 1 post over the weekend.
If I were to take this on, I would only be agreeing to finish book 1. After book 1s completion, I would be willing to consider going onward if the group was interested and if I felt I could maintain the schedule.
What type of posting pace are you guys looking for in the game? Feel free to ask me anything.
I truly hope your post brings in more than 1 potential GM for you to consider.

We are pretty casual posters, but can have some intense role-playing flurries at times.

Hi GM! Thanks for replying!
Personally, I'm a very regular poster who checks Paizo on a daily basis (except if work gets particularly busy).
I'm fine with basically any pace, as long as the game doesn't screech to a halt for weeks :)

It is not the end of the journey that is important it is the spleens you eat along the way.
Seriously. PBP Adventure paths never reach the end of the story. At least not that I have seen. The format is just too fragile and too slow. You have to enjoy it while it lasts.

I’ve completed a few smaller APs, joined and lost many PbP games and ‘technically’ still in my first PbP for almost 10 years still! (Rise of the Runelords). Lots of stop and starts. You learn to roll with the fun, and hope for the best.

I am up for whatever as I like the group and want this to continue. The past 3 months have been hectic for me but if the rest of the group is able to commit to a post a day I will make sure I get that done as well.

Very well: I'd like to at least get to the end of Book 1! :P
By the way, GM Repete, I have tried to take notes of everything that happened so far. I can grant you access if you want.
Variel has kept an impeccable Excel sheet of our loot.

I'd be perfectly fine with a more laid back posting rate. Reading through your gameplay, I very much like the way your characters play on each other. I'd prefer quality of posts like that over quantity.
As for finishing longer APs, I find it's difficult to finish them in person as well. I've made it to book 5 on several APs and had the group fall apart for various reasons.
I noticed you guys have been using Roll20 for your maps. I'm not overly experienced with using Roll20 and prefer to use Google Slides for my maps. Would that be an issue?
For combat, I typically use a block style initiative.
Round 1 - Fight!
Beorn
Merelda
Tiny
Enemy 1
Enemy 2
Variel
Pollux
Anyone above the enemies would be free to post as they are able. Once all three have posted, I would post a summary of their actions, followed by the enemies actions. Especially in PbP, combat can bog down a campaign if you're waiting on your turn in initiative.
Round 1 Continued
Variel
Pollux
Round 2
Beorn
Merelda
Tiny
Enemy 1
Enemy 2
Variel
Pollux
And again, everyone in bold could post at their convenience prior to the enemies.
Greatly appreciate the spreadsheet. Looks like a lot of work went into it. Requested access to your notes.
