Yes a google docs would be great. If you wanted to attach it to the loot list/rebellion sheet that works too

Tiny Litsy |

Here we go! Feel free to edit if I've missed anything important.
With the help of note-taking, I think it's pretty clear we've got a wannabe evil summoner on the loose.

I had to ask for permission to see the link.

Tiny Litsy |

Oh, sorry! I just shared it. Link is also in my character's profile (not enough room to put it in the header).
I have to double-checked in case of spam (happened before): anyone here is dr-hooker-phd?

Merelda "The Widow" Widdomeria |

That is me
I have to ask… Is that a nom de guerre?

Variel Nightstorm wrote:That is meI have to ask… Is that a nom de guerre?
Lol nope. It is a product of medical profession and last name and poor judgment in college

Oi' let the rat in would you. It's cold out here.

... Mostly because I couldn't grant you access to the doc on my phone. It's now done!
EDIT: Maybe it will be easier if the notes are accessible on Google Docs instead, so you can edit it more easily. I put the Google Doc link in my profile instead of the Google Drive one. Let me know if that's better, and sorry about the technical difficulties!
Looks like Recruiter and Sentinel are both open. Either is fine by me unless somebody would rather switch?
I had honestly forgotten what offices everyone held (especially since there was some re-shuffling involved when Pollux and Castor joines the group), but then it turned out all the information was on the spreadsheet! I think we can't thank Variel enough for keeping track of the rebellion's evolutions. Around a real table, you would get a round of applause right now.
Honestly, whatever sounds best to you, Merelda. I'd say that if we want the following week to be more intel-gathering oriented, a Sentinel would be more useful than a Recruiter. But we're rather short on different teams too, and our Loyalty modifier isn't too shoddy, so I guess it depends on what we're trying to do. Anyone thinks it would be useful to do some Recruiting this week?
Since we've run into some problems with the dottari, it could be useful to think of relocating -perhaps now would be a good time as any to Recruit a team of Sneaks, so we can update them soon to Spies. Alternatively, we could use Vendalfek this week to Spread Disinformation to redirect the dottaris to another district and cover our tracks.

Haven’t had time to look at all the options but I am always agreeable to increase our support with recruitment. Gather infor would be nice for other rumors or leads and if we have a third available task then Vendalfek disinformation sounds great.
Will have time tomorrow to look more in depth at options and roles as well

All written in the Player's Guide, Beorn! (p. 22)
Rebellion Actions: Every week, the rebellion can take
a number of actions, depending on its rank (see Table 1).
This number can be increased by officers, unique allies, and
certain events. (Your GM has details on these opportunities
as they appear during the course of the adventure.)
If the spreadsheet is correct, we are rank 4- we get two Rebellion Actions. Currently, we're considering our choices. I suggested Recruiting a Team and Spreading Disinformation. Variel thought we could also Gather Information.
We have to beat a DC to recruit a team (for instance, recruiting Sneaks is a DC 15 Secrecy); our offices give us bonus to beat the DC (Litsy as Spymaster adds a +3 bonus to the rebellion's Secrecy).
To Gather Information, it's another DC 15 Secrecy check with the bonus of a team's tier, multiplied by two. Since we apparently can't rely on the Rumormongers to gather intel this week (it's on the spreadsheet- Variel, correct me if I'm wrong), we have to rely on the Tengu sisters to do it. (+2 Bonus, I think?)
To Spread Disinformation, it's a plain DC 20 Secrecy check, and we can use Vendalfek to do that. Since our Notoriety is very low, perhaps that's why Variel put it last in the priority list.

We have a base of 2 actions being at rank 4. With Beorn as the strategist we get another action.
Recruitment
Gather info
Spread disinformation
As for what position for Merelda I can see her definitely trying to recruit people using her ‘charm’

Merelda "The Widow" Widdomeria |

No problem for me. My highest stat is Dex right now, and only my level matters for Recruitment I think. Although we have to do a recruit action for it to matter too. Since the total number of supporters matters and attrition can happen every round, shouldn't we try to recruit every week?

![]() |

Yes that is my thoughts as well unless something severe happens where we need to take other actions.

Tiny Litsy |

Quick question: have we taken care of re-equipping the guys we've rescued from the Salt Mines? And will we be able to use our teams of Rumor Mongers and Freedom Fighters at the end of the next week? They're 'down for 2 weeks' on the spreadsheet.
Everyone OK with
Recruitment
Gather info
Spread disinformation?

Good catch Litsy. We only have 1 team at our disposal. We won’t have another team till the 2 weeks are over. This is only the first week they are recovering. We can still take 3 actions but only have 1 team.
Recruit supporters would be by Merelda
Gather info by Tengu sisters
Misinformation by Vendalfek.
Agree with it all.
Will post with rolls once in a bit once I double check dc and any other bonuses we get.

Not that I have seen yet. I can take that out of the coffers. I don't think it takes an action to reequip them.

Tiny Litsy |

Found the quote from GM :
We'll say about 35gp for them to live decently enough for a week before they recover and find jobs and atart supporting themselves. Rearming them can be considered as a rebellion action where they "acquire" fresh gear.

![]() |

Not sure how much time has elapsed between adding Merelda and the capture of the Sister. If there was a day in between could Variel pick up a sap, a few cloaks, a few darts, and a carpentry tool kit?

Ok thanks for finding that Litsy. We can definitely add that to the actions for the next week then to get them up and running

Lemme make sure I understand the order of things here. We can say variel had enough time to shop for the things needed.
Beorn is gathering hoodlums to distract some guards away.
Pollux is seeking out an appropriately debilitating substance for theriocide.
Mereldas trying to courtesan(?) her way to a wagon for purposes of a getaway.
Variek and litsy are securing disguises and????
Will this be taking place before or after curfew?

All correct boss. If nothing else Thumbs is curious to see if the apprentice poisoner is still in business. Before curfew if possible. Best done quickly and all that

Tiny Litsy |

Yep!
Variel or I could also scout the place prior to the ambush, see how many blokes are there and what kind of weaponry they have on them.

Scout/purchases before curfew
Rescue attempt…either works for Variel

Merelda "The Widow" Widdomeria |

Mereldas trying to courtesan(?) her way to a wagon for purposes of a getaway.
Yes...although the better terms or phrases would be 'cajole', 'flirt', 'convince with sexual innuendo,' and/or 'using her feminine whiles' to convince someone to hang out in a back alley for an hour or so with an semi-empty horse-drawn wagon near where we plan to rescue our compatriot.
The question is...did it work?

TarkXT |

The question is...did it work?
Short answer; no.
Long answer; profession would allow you to identify potential marks and even figure out a fair rate for the time, and because courtesans are meant to be charming and genuine delights to be around and not just be warm and concave probably even figure out what flavor of songs and anecdotes might catch their attention or conversation topics might clue you in on their interests.
So you could definitely find someone with a cart who'd be up for some after curfew back alley excitement. Getting them to do it is a different roll entirely. Diplomacy, Bluff, or even Intimidate will work depending on your approach and desired outcome. Youre not really gonna find anyone outside the ravens who will trust you with their cart and horses (likely representing their entire livelihood) without them around without shenanigans on your part.
