Signy, why do you need to dip Swashbuckler to get DEX to damage?

Inspired Blade gets weapon focus with a rapier as a bonus feat, so fencing grace comes online at level 3 rather than wait until level 5 or use your human bonus for it.

It's not as relevant under the Feat Tax rules, but still frees up a feat for other things.

Also, the Swashbuckler dip adds a lot of neat tricks to her melee bag with just the three first level deeds. Parry and riposte can turn a combat, though nothing is more frustrating as a GM to have a possible crit parried, then they crit on the riposte and drop your boss to 1 up.
(But I'm not bitter...)

Galahad, just as Teryll said. Signy couldn't take weapon focus at 1st level because it requires +1 BAB, which she doesn't have at 1st level.

Teryll, I'd probably go with Inspired Blade/Noble Fencer to trade Dodging Panache for Social Panache and that sweet sweet bonus 1d6 on social skill rolls.

That makes sense, I hadn't even considered that.

Galahad: Any update on available items or gear?

Sovereign Court

You can get any basic gear, he is quite well stocked. I will have a list of special items shortly.

"Oh, also, Jamandi sent a chest for you. It is in the room upstairs."

Sovereign Court

In the chest upstairs, there are several items with instructions attached.

Explorer's belt: This belt grants its wearer a +2 enhancement bonus to Constitution and a +2 resistance bonus on saving throws against disease, fatigue and exhaustion.

Expert's Hat: This hat grants its wearer a +1 competence bonus on all skill checks.

Mesmerizing Necklace: This amulet increases by 1 the DC of all Enchantment school spells casted by the wearer. It also grants the ability to cast color spray (DC 13) spell three times per day.

Blessed Signet: The signet grants its wearer the ability to cast bless spell as a 1st level cleric three times a day.

Outside of that, some added spells/BAB, etc.
For skills, I padded out the various knowledges and added a few crafts. Bumped Riding and Handle Animal.

Galarad; Durable Arrows in stock? Or too unusual and need to be "special ordered"?

Also considering a Darkwood Shield, but that may also be too unusual for Oleg to have around.

Lastly, weapon made of cold iron available?

No on all three.

He does have quite the selection of masterwork weapons and a +1 lightmace, scimitar, and two-bladed sword.

He also has a +1 wooden heavy shield.

The other two items you might be interested in are a +1 Ring of Protection and a small bag of holding.

If no one else wanted the signet ring I'd take it. Adding Bless (an non-druid spell) to my options would be useful.

The belt should go to whoever has the worst constitution in the group.

Any of us could use the hat, but I think it makes the most sense to give it to one of the people with the most skill ranks. I believe that would be Signy or me.

Signy should take the necklace because she's the only one with enchantment spells.

Faerin is a good choice for the signet as our main support character.

As for other equipment purchases, I am going to buy a masterwork composite longbow from Oleg. Anybody who needs it can take my old regular composite longbow.

Male Dwarf Cleric 2| HP 20 | AC 18; Touch 10; FF 18| F +5; R +0; W +6 | CMB+2; CMD 12 | Speed 20 ft | Init +0 | Perc +4 | Stealth: -7 Cleric 2

HP: 1d8 ⇒ 4

I'll get a masterwork heavy flail, an alchemist fire and an antitoxin.

Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1

Here's Signy's Level Up:

1d10 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6 so average for a total of 9 HP

Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade / Noble Fencer)

BAB +1
Either REF +2 or No change if using fractional base bonus rules.

Weapon Focus: Rapier

Deeds: Opportune Parry and Reposte, Derring-Do, Social Panache

Panache Points = 4

Skills: +1 to Climb, Diplomacy, Perception, Sense Motive, Swim

Background Skills: +1 to Perform (string), Profession Tavern/Bar Keep.

Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1

Sure, Signy will take the Mesmerizing Necklace! About 30 - 40% of the bard spell list is enchantments so it's ideal for her.

The Expert's Hat won't help her as much as it would most other bard types because Arcane Duelist gives up most of the knowledge focused class features. She won't be as great at knowledge skills as a typical bard.

Male Half-Elf HP: 19/19| AC 20| T 13| FF 17| CMD 17| Fort + 7, Ref + 6, Will + 5 (+ 7 vs Enchantments, + 9 vs Disease, Fatigue, Exhaustion) | Init + 4| Perc +12 Senses: Low-light Vision| Speed 20 ft. Inquisitor (Erastil) 1/ Brawler 1 Judgements 1/1, Spells: Level 1 - 2/2, Martial Flexibility 4/4

I'd be happy to use the belt, since my Con is only 12, but I'm also likely to replace it with a Dex belt as soon as I get the gold to do so.
If it can be upgraded to a +2 Dex/Con belt (particularly if we have someone taking Craft Wondrous Items feat to save on costs) than I will obviously get more mileage out of it.

Teryll's Shopping List:
Masterwork Composite Longbow
Hand Axe
Sap
Buckler

Trading/Selling:
Longbow
Morningstar

Bye-bye to nearly all my gold!

Male Human Ranger 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 19 (21 w/ shield) | Init: +4 | Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +2 | CMB: +4, CMD: 19 | Attacks: Rapier (+6 hit, 1d6+2 damage) , MWK Longbow (+7 hit, 1d8 + 2 damage) | Perception: +8

Since nobody else seems interested, I will take the expert's hat. Galahad, what kind of hat is it?

My composite bow is still available for the party. Signy, you are proficient in longbows now, so you might want to take it.

Sovereign Court

"This stylish hat will help you look like a true expert and convince anyone – even yourself! – that you know your way around everything."

I don't know how to paste a picture here

Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1

Any decision on the fractional base bonus rules Galahad?

Male Half-Elf Fighter (Aldori Defender/Steelbound) 1 VMC Magus Fighter (Aldori Defender/Steelbound) 1 VMC Magus

None of those items are really especially suitable for Pyros. Could he use more Con or a skill bonus? Sure. But he's not the best choice for either.

Since I picked up that longbow a while back, I'll sell my light crossbow to Oleg, unless someone else in the party wants it.

1d10 ⇒ 1 Sooo, average it is then.

Level 2 gives Pyros the following:
+1 BAB
+1 Fort
+6 HP (since I'm taking average rounded up)
Feat: Slashing Grace
Bravery: +1 Will vs Fear
Skill Ranks:
+1 Acrobatics
+1 intimidate
+1 Perception
+1 Ride
+1 Survival
Background:
+1 Knowledge (Engineering)
+1 Knowledge (Geography)

Male Half-Elf HP: 19/19| AC 20| T 13| FF 17| CMD 17| Fort + 7, Ref + 6, Will + 5 (+ 7 vs Enchantments, + 9 vs Disease, Fatigue, Exhaustion) | Init + 4| Perc +12 Senses: Low-light Vision| Speed 20 ft. Inquisitor (Erastil) 1/ Brawler 1 Judgements 1/1, Spells: Level 1 - 2/2, Martial Flexibility 4/4

I'm not using them. In your case, they wouldn't make a difference (unless you plan on going more than 1 level of SB).

Sovereign Court

just letting you know it was a rough three days with work and school. I should have the map up tomorrow (Friday) sometime.

Sovereign Court

OK, the basic map is up. Go to the Roll20 link in the campaign tab and pick Oleg's Trading Post. Tell me which grid coordinate each of you wish to start at and I will start placing tokens.

Galahad, I see no tabs, only the map from the fight at Jamandi's. I believe you'll need to give us permission to the map.

Also, can you give us control of our tokens? I'd be much more comfortable moving it around.

Sovereign Court

Ok, I think I fixed the link, try it now.

Kern, I am still trying to figure out how to let you control your tokens.

Sovereign Court

OK, I found out how to let you control tokens, but I need to know who is which character. Halden and Kern are listed as players, but everyone else has a different player name on Roll20 (Leonard, Rick K., Josh S., Mark T., and Mike M.).

Kern, let me know if you can now move the token with your name on it?

I'm still not seeing the new map, only the ballroom combat.

I've logged out, and back in from the new link, refreshed the page and cleared my cache, and tried again but still don't see a tab for any other maps.

Tried it from both my desktop, and my tablet

If I'm missing something, any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not overly familiar with the site, but never had an issue before.
