I had a feeling - the archetypes have a lot of curb appeal.
To me, an archetype worth picking should draw you into staying in it as long as possible. The Force Adept is VERY me!I wanted to keep Reg on point themeatically, with some flair, but TK characters are my thing. Was SO disappointed with the Psychic ...

Was SO disappointed with the Psychic ...
The Psychic does Okay for itself once they get 3rd level spells. Its not as strong as an arcanist or wizard, or even quite as good as a sorcerer IMO. But, I tinkered around with them, and with about 10 sessions past level 7 (as the Gm, not a player) The following changes made it a solid contender.
1-
Change their spell progression to that of a wizard. This makes them the only spontaneous caster to gain spell levels as fast as a wizard.
2-
Reduce overwhelming Minds cost by 1 across the board. (still doesn't touch the power of an arcanist, but having the above change to spell progression keeps it strong)
As for names... I'll list a few I thought of.
Belthouse (bell-thoose) (as in noose)
Aloran
Razeria
Azalia
Will think over some more.
I also vote we call the capital Esperro (which could mean "hope", taken from the latin term Spes)
como Esperanza like we say here in Mexico City
superior to the names of shrubery (azalia)

OK, sorry about the disappearance. With finals, getting my Bar application processed, work, etc. I got lost. I switched my default screen as well and the Paizo icon I had on the home page was deleted. I honestly forgot. I will get the party started.

Hey I get it! I'm in a way less strenuous field of study that requires way less work to break into it, and I get overwhelmed by work sometimes.

The Bar application was a nightmare. I had to give the city and state of everywhere I had "lived," even if only for a couple of months, and the month/years I lived there since I was 16. You have to find out every infraction you have ever been cited for; give the case #, dates, and final disposition, etc. That might be easy for a 24 year old, but I'm 58 and have movedd around a lot. And those are just two examples of the 76 questions you have to answer.

OK, now that the holidays are past, I will pick up the pace. In the game thread I'm kind of waiting to see if anyone engages any of the people I mentioned. Pyros, since you are the one getting the title, you might want to at least talk to Surtova.
Also, both Maegar Varn and Count Drelev are being honored at this banquet. They are receiving baronies in other parts as you are.

"Rigid inflexible old people kinda are what they are: there are times you just have to visualize them standing standing at the grocery store, still trying to pay with a check - and while I bet that Ms Surtova can write a hell of a check, she is at the glamorous party of a half-elf with a half-orc son, speaking to the nouveau noble half-elf who has a half-orc friend & protector all the while having a deep routed fear that if there were a civil war, she may not even be valuable enough to kill OR to marry. Tough day for her really; her next attack could be the druids, the barbarians or even the gays ...

Um ... even before it was being tampered with, the Postal Service had some serious service issues. Snail mail is for Thank You cards and Wedding Invitations. Like be serious, I would rather use a messanger from Pathfinder than put a stamp on anything.
