Bear traps? No, but now that you mention it, there is a crate of old Alchemist's Fire that Bokkem made that we were going to dispose of because they are leaking and unstable. Maybe you can rig something from that."
Things you know so far:
"I'm not too worried anout us. They will be looking for you and I can probably bribe thenm enough. Besides, I know Jamandi is sending a small patrol next week and they will be staying here." In response to Stanislaw's comment, Oleg says, "They are definitely from the Thron River Ford camp. That camp acts a s a gathering point for their loot before it is sent South."
After the meal, Oleg and Svetlana sit with you to let you know all that they know. "The bandits are far better organized than I think Restov knows. They collect "taxes" from all of us in the region. I fear for what will happen after today, as they are unused to any real resistance." Oleg says with some aprehension as he glances over to his wife.
As Oleg talks more, you get the distinct impression that he is no stranger to more martial pursuits than just an innkeeper.
As the adrenaline abates, the wounds make themselves felt. The fight was quick, but intense. The two bandits that fled are no where to be found. Apprently they went over the back wall. The man in the stained apron comes up to you. "That was sastisfying, but I hope it doesn't make troubles worse." He says with a shake of his head.
"I don't think we need any bait, as long as we don't hit them before they come in, they are pretty brash and confident. They will probably just walk in demanding that you surrender, they are used to their intimidation working."
You get the impression that Oleg has some military experience.
Oleg listens to the plans, but shakes his head.
Responding to kern, Oleg says, "Kressle, the woman, is the one that usually handles collections here. Despite her job, at least she keeps the others in line when they come here."
