After it we have gotten a chance to use it, as we are passing it, we will use the reward we got from the Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment to boost the Burst of Healing.

Even if you're not sure about any specific rolls to make, interacting with the different groups will almost certainly give you more information to make decisions from...

The faithful from the temple of Korada have spread out among the pathfinder forces. Once during the adventure, you can activate this benefit to instantaneously cure every character in the party of the following conditions: fatigued, shaken, sickened, dazed, and staggered.

We've been asked not to start any new missions for a little bit, so.... how 'bout them Giants? :-p

I'm good to hang out and banter for a bit. It feels like we have been going pretty strong so far and I was glad to play through those social encounters.

GM Cwethan |

I heartily encourage chatting and rp-ing amongst yourselves!

Probably should have moved that post here, but what's done is done. Thanks for pointing that out actually, I realized I haven't read deadly aim in a while, because "I totally know what it does." Truth be told, I was actually scrambling to find a ruling that didn't make me retroactively feel bad :P

I wanted to bring up a couple notes, neither very important but wanted them off my list.
Minor Accounting
First I wanted to bring up the payment to the wyvaran earlier. I was completely fine with taking the 160 gp bribe myself, to be honest, I am surprised I haven't spent that at least that much in restoration castings this special.
Malachi using his slush fund brings that down to just 85 gp. Myself, Malachi, Sarsczek, Fung, and Zera offered to split the cost. That would cost each of the five of us 17 gp. If Malachi feels that his slush fund counts as his complete contribution, I would find that to be very reasonable (since he almost cut the price in half by himself) I'll cover his share. Again, even the 160 gp was a low toll I was expecting to pay this adventure.
The Buff That Will Kill You (Malachi and Sarsczek)
The second thing I wanted to mention I should have brought up a lot earlier. One of my spells is blood rage is one of the buff spells I got before gaining access to blessing of fervor. I've been able to ignore it since blessing of fervor is better and the combats have been short enough to not even make me think of casting blood rage.
In short, it gives you a bonus to Strength and penalty to AC based on how much damage you have taken for the duration of the spell. This maxes out at +10 Strength and -5 AC for taking a minimum of 25 points of damage. Since this is a strength boosting spell, only Malachi and Sarsczek would really benefit from it. Even then, one or both of them might value 5 AC more than anything else the spell grants.
This is an opt in spell, for starters it require drops of the targets blood to work and I'll only consider it if both of the melee are asking for it. I have plenty of other spells to cast that will be less likely to injure either of you, but I wanted to present this option in the case either of you feel it would be necessary to finish a combat quickly.

Sarsczek's AC is so bad that -5 AC isn't going to change much if we're fighting a bruiser. I'll leave it up to you when makes sense, but Sarsczek will accept the charges should it appear to make sense.
Also, just keep a running tally of total costs during the adventure and split it up at the end. Sarsczek will happily pay a share. I expect to shed some diamond dust at some point this adventure for a restoration or so... might as well tally it all up then.

Peribras is going to chip in on these costs also

GM Cwethan |

All looks good Luminae :-)
Sadly I'm going to be busy and on the go for much of the weekend, but happily I've got a literally 5-star replacement lined up!
nightdeath will be helping to carry things over the finish line starting tomorrow and running til Sunday night.

Happy to chip in 17gp in addition to the slash fund. Also happy to accept Blood Rage ordinarily - it'll probably be obvious if I'm trying to turtle instead and Mal usually prefers heavy attack.

My apolgies, got caught up in work.
I have setup your battle but the phoenix is pending your wish for a normal or (hard) mode.

![]() |

happy to give hard mode a go

![]() |

I would be willing to support the party for hard mode.
I'm a bit more wary since we have a slow start that we would be able to get through it. I'll go with what the rest of the party wishes to do.

![]() |

I'm down for hard mode. This is quite possibly Sarsczek's final outing... might as well make it memorable.
If it's not my turn before I go to sleep, I'll put a recommended turn for myself in a spoiler box to help move things along quickly.

![]() |

Alright, final costs from paying the wyvaran is 14 gp to everyone.
I want to say that I had a wonderful time playing in this game even as my character complained all along the way. I wasn't originally planning on playing in the special but I'm glad I was convinced to change my mind and come in.
Thank you so much Cwethan for running and putting up with all our antics while running a very fun and fast paced game. Thank you to everyone else in the party as well!

Thanks for running, GM!
And thanks for the game, everyone!
