On 3/1/25, I wrote this bit:
+1 Amulet of Natural Armor (free from group)
So that one is on Ayita.

Got nailed with work and life this week, so I dropped off of posting for a few days. Next we should be better, but things are changing fast for me, so we'll see.

Frantino Kaddren |

My turn to travel! I leave tomorrow on a cruise across northern Europe for two weeks. I'll have internet but my days will be busy.

Have a wonderful trip!!! Please tell us boring people about some amazing food and beverages you have.

@FRANTINO: WOW. Occultist without his implement loses so many bonuses. Confusing as hell. I think greatsword attack looks like this. Let me know if I missed something.
Greatsword (MW) w/ PA: 1d20 + 6 - 1 - 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (14) + 3 + (5) = 22
Damage: 2d6 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (1, 3) + 9 - 2 = 11
Attack calc:
BAB +4
Str16 +3
MW Greatsword +1
Power attack -2
Neg Level -1
Sickened -2
Fury's Loss:
Halberd +2
Resonant Power (trans): Physical Enhancement +4Str (7 focus pts) (+2)
Resonant Power (panoply): Martial Skill (7+6focus pts) (+3)
Mental Focus: The implement grants its resonant power to whoever possesses it; the occultist can lend the implement to an ally to assist that ally, but if he does so, he has difficulty casting that implement’s spells (see Implements) and can’t expend that implement’s focus on focus powers until he retrieves the implement or refreshes his focus.

Where did the halberd fall? Didn't we kill the vampire that was holding it?

When a vampire is reduced to zero hit points, it automatically assumes Gaseous Form and returns to its coffin to rejuvenate. All clothing and equipment it possesses is included in Gaseous Form.
Thus, the halberd is no where to be seen.

So, maybe in one of those coffins in the other room.

Feeling like Ayita needs a complete rebuild; she helps with perception and traps but very little else. Trying to keep Ter used too many feats...
Also the too-frequent lack of rolls over an 8 or so...

Your lucerne hammer is pretty decent. +10, yeah? Ter is suboptimal in a dungeon environment, sure.

I didn't want to outright say, "He went back to one of the coffins you saw earlier" because you don't KNOW that, but... it seems like an obvious conclusion.

NOTE: while your lucerne hammer has reach, your allies are in the way. So, your opponent would get +4 cover bonus to AC from your reach weapon. That's gonna make him really hard to hit.
Also, maybe you have encountered this before, but your reach weapon threatens 10ft away, but not adjacent targets. So arrange yourself appropriately to get the best shot at him.
A reach weapon uses same rules as a ranged weapon to determine cover. This means, if a corner of your square intersects any other occupied square (other than your opponent's), the opponent has cover.
