Searching a room for texts requires a successful skill check, and multiple PCs can search an area simultaneously. Each researching PC can attempt a
Linguistics, Knowledge (history), or text-based Craft or Profession check (such as Profession [librarian] or Craft [bookbinding]) to find texts.
A PC might use a different skill or ability albeit with a penalty ranging from –2 to –5 at your discretion. Several areas also identify additional
skill check options that PCs may use without penalty. PCs who use magic or class abilities in a particularly creative or relevant way might receive up to a +5 bonus on a check at your discretion. Except where noted, the skill check DC is 14.
The group begin the scenario just outside the Kitharodian Academy, where crowds of commoners and nobility alike jostle to enter the music hall. You have no difficulty pushing your way into the increasingly crowded
building, but convincing an usher or other member of the Kitharodian staff to show you to the library requires effort—even if you show their letter from Arch-Exarch Gregorian.

You have to start telling me what you do.
Folks you are on a tight schedule, if just one or two persons search and the rest just sit tight, you will fail this. you have already wasted preciouse time.

The amount of time it takes to search a room is also divided by the number of PCs helping to search (so the GM is right in saying that if most of the party is standing around watching a few of us do the 'research' we will quickly run out of time).

The more people search, and manage the aid roll the better.

As I am on vacation myself, including laying at the pool, swimming in the sea, enjoying great food, pampering my child, I know what i means!
As a teacher you do not know what that means.
Well 6 weeks of summer holidays, 2 weeks of easter, one week of spring, 2 weeks of X-mas, 2 weeks of fall and one week of winter holidays here teachers have the very highest rate of holidays.

Holidays are often spent correcting the students' homework, grading papers, and preparing your next classes... Assuming that they should change the courses (with new manuals or new themes), summer holidays are spent working on the courses you'll have to teach.
All these holiday weeks seem wonderful on paper, but in reality, it's quite hard to catch a break, especially if you're the hard-working, perfectionist type, who is going to spend a lot of additional hours preparing new activites and memorizing what you're going to say for each different class :)

This coming year I will be teaching 2 sections of Latin, so I will be preparing that stuff. I am really excited about it though, oh and teaching 2 sections in Summer School.
We don't get 2 week for Easter. We do start in the middle of August and the district wants to add 10 days this coming year so we would start at the end of July.
