This is indeed our second foray into this scenario and our third altogether.
Hey folks! I will be travelling over the weekend and will be unlikely to check in frequently, but I have acquired the help of a back up GM. You will be in better hands with GM Kuey at the helm! Also I'd like to sadly point out that my new workplace actually has Pazio and other related sites as restricted so I can't post from workplace anymore.

I was curious about the legality of a whip with bladebound, and by RAW, it seems to be legal even though it's not a blade. But I did come across this in the whip's description.
A whip deals no damage to any creature with an armor bonus of +1 or higher or a natural armor bonus of +3 or higher.
Asking to the broader group as well... Anyone know if the being a magical whip or black blade would negate this otherwise?
I have whip mastery for that. I wouldn't think it's status as a supernatural weapon or the status as a black blade could override it being a whip. It is where the feat intensity of the build comes from but I prefer it over just Shocking Grasp Scimitar. The rules for Magi in general are very intensive so I haven't broken out the maneuvers yet but I am building this guy as a debuffer mostly, especially once I get Wand Wielder Arcana to use my True Strike wand with Spell Combat.
