My level 4 alchemist is free and would like to play in this.
This is part 1 of a 2 part arc. Second part is 2-02 Rescue at Azlant Ridge. I plan to offer that once we are done here for anyone who wants to continue with my chaotic self.
If you have room I have two or three level 3 PCs that could join - let me know and I'll kick the dust off the chronicles folder and check things out...
FYI still have to update and add 2 chronicles to this guy on my online profile (have only updated him on herolab) I'll get on it Monday afternoon 26th. (he's still only 3rd lv)

So I looked at your character and was surprised to see your 3rd lv. Witch had more HP than my 3rd lv. Bloodrager ( 29hp to my 26hp)normally I’d just shrug this off because I tend not to midmax my stats or otherwise optimize my characters like so many do. ( indeed you’ve stat dumped your Str. In order to gain elsewhere) However it was pretty shocking to see a D6 HP character outshine a d10 character so much on a traditionally martial strong point. So I looked at your character’s profile... I have two questions what is “retraining?” Some sort of chronicle boon where you got 3hp for free? I didn’t see toughness feat on your character sheet so wonder how those 3hp were assigned, and if it is a chronicle which one? Other question it appears you give yourself 3hp per level for a 14 constitution why is that?
Don’t mean to call you a cheater ect... so please don’t take offense, in fact I assume I’m just missing something about your character something I overlooked on your profile or something not clearly present. But if there are some errors it might be better you fix them. Anyway, hope I didn’t ruffle your feathers too much (pun intended)!

Gaius is correct. I own Ultimate Campaign and am using Retraining rules to gain HP.

I had the wrong stat array in there because I copy pasted that from another character but the Con is 16 and all calculations were also based on a Con 16 in all the char sheet.
Str: 7, Dex: 16, Con: 16, Int: 19, Wis: 8, Cha: 7
–– RETRAINING ––:
• On 2nd Level: Retrained 2 Hit Points each costing 3 days / 3 PP / 60 gp (=3 days * 2nd Lvl * 10gp) -> Total cost for retraining 2 Hit Points: 6 PP and 120 gp.
• On 3rd Level: Retrained 1 Hit Points each costing 3 days / 3 PP / 90 gp (=3 days * 3rd Lvl * 10gp) -> Total cost for retraining 1 Hit Points: 3 PP and 90 gp.
Ok had no idea about retraining HP I too own ultimate campaign ( as does anyone who got the humble bundle; but I also have the dead tree version because I wanted to run a King maker type campaign at one point... sadly my players were more interested in traditional play and dungeon crawl stuff was mostly their style)
So it appears as a 3rd lv character I can spend 12 days 360gp and 12 PP to gain 4 HP? Does this sound/read correctly?

You dont gave to roll a separate grapple check to do nonlethal damage, your maintain roll serves as the CMB check for the round although if you want to do nonlethal damage you probably have to take -4 to that roll
Are you sure? The grapple flow chart seems to indicate that they're 2 separate actions...are u perhaps thinking o 3.5 rules? And all dmg is NL when using unarmed attacks unless you have the improved unarmed strike feat...When your grappling you just use your CMB against their CMD..to land the NL (ie No AoO's) at least this is the way I've always played it. Makon could have drawn a dagger(requires it's own separate CMB check no?) ..or if he wore a gauntlets; he could then used deadly force or chosen to use NL dmg

I took "her idealized, amazonian reflection" to mean that the second figure bears a similar appearance to the woman, and the "curious glowing rune" to mean some kind of statue or eidolon or phantom or other magical figure linked to her.

Thanks for the game! It went great and this was a good, if exceptionally dangerous group.
I'd love to play the next part if you run it again but I already have this character signed up for Retrocon and doubt we could get through it in 2 weeks. ;-)
