Would also like to be involved with this. It sounds like it could be immensely profitable and potentially capable of building up my client base...[ooc]Miss Feathers is THE best NPC in the game and should 100% be a Sczarni aligned VC.
We will be progressing the YotSL shortly. We are busily working away getting the beast in order to ensure that it will run smoothly and deliver a good experience, but to be honest it got a lot bigger than our initial 'back of napkin' planning. I originally had 'toes in the water, start with an easy one, three groups max, keep it tight and compact and see how we go', and this has rapidly turned into eight to ten tables worth - both core and classic - likely scenario support and moving out to the broader community.
Exciting and fun sounding, but curious to see 'how the monster works'.
As Magabeus (my partner in crime in this caper) pointed out, we didn't have a vision beyond the Special itself, but of others want to build off it and run (in my opinion) the brilliant City of Strangers scenarios or Godsmouth off the back of the event, or even Rivalry or the other Shadow Lodge scenario then that's sort of funky and cool.
Our intent (if this is fun) is to then pick up and keep rolling through the multi-tables, and this one is about bedding down our processes.
With that said - I'll be opening a thread shortly and pulling in the GM's to come and claim a table, and then we can open the general player mustering. Those kind GMs that have posted here and PM'd me, I will be in touch shortly.
For broader visibility - We have marked a table for each tier (a couple of tables at the midling levels) and two core tables at the lower tiers (where the heaviest demand is). Once that is all looking solid we can look at adding more tables as GM availability, player demand, and organiser sanity allows.

Hey Everyone,
For the multi-table, I strongly suggest checking in with Jesse Davis (online VC.) The multitable special was an experiment, and while it went swimmingly, I'm not 100% it's allowed at the moment.
I could also be COMPLETELY wrong, but I just wanted to throw that out there first before the ball got rolling too far.

Meaning we PM them to say we want to play, or what?

Guys,
Regarding Year of the Shadow Lodge
Shifty and me are working out the details. In this stage we are aiming for 10 tables, so that we do not overextend ourselves. It is a first time for us organizing this and we want to make it a success.
Start is indeed planned at early June and we expect to start the actual mustering (both for players as GM's) in short notice. Links will be posted here.
And indeed RyckyRych : we not only need GM's, we also need players ;-)
See bold.

I'm not sure what they're planning to run at Strategicon this May. They tend to run a special at every con and last time there was no new special they went back and ran an old one, so assuming the Shadow Lodge special isn't run there, I'll definitely sign up as a player here. Likely with my level 7 Gunslinger/Rogue (emphasis on the Rogue). Should see the schedule soon...

Rock on! Looking forward to playing!

We are indeed running year of the shadow lodge at Strategicon :)

DebugAMP |

Ooh... is it going up on Warhorn soon? Also, in that case I'm willing to GM the PbP special if you need more.

We arent using warhorn for this Strategicon. Our VC is having us use a new site, tabletop giant for this con.

Someone taps you on the shoulder at about 5 AM, waking you from your slumber. You look around and see nothing in the room, but a voice speaks in a slow and brooding voice.
Drandle Dreng requires you
To wake yourself and enjoy the view
Of a vault beneath the Absalom street.
In his office you will meet...immediately.
The voice stops and it is silent in the room once again.
GM Andrew here! I'm looking for people for #55: The Infernal Vault in Classic Mode. I am looking for this to be either subtier 1-2 or subtier 3-4, and looking to start very soon. If interested, please sign up HERE.
As a note, this will only be my second time GMing PbP, but far from my first time as a GM for PFS. I've had good experiences so far so I am encouraged to start GMing here. :)

Probably will do a lottery next time. Also not really comfortable doing more than 2 PbPs at once yet (already have another one going). Still new to this. :p

DebugAMP |

Enjoy your first run at GMing PbP. I'm running my 4th PbP scenario, and I'm sticking to a run 1 / play 1 schedule. Always want to avoid having my game turn into work.

For Desna´s sake! how many agents in need of some action, exclaims the varisian cleric amused of how quickly Drendle Dreng requirement had been answered.
Have fun with your PBP Griff. I never regret from started PBP GMing, it gives much more room for roleplay
And a lottery will be great, then I´ll have an opportunity ;D

The world's greatest entertainer, steps to the forefront to deliver an important announcement.
Amara Li is looking for one pathfinder to join her in DTang Ma for a very important mission!!!
Post your interest for 4-21 playing at low subtier (3-4). Again looking for one to round out the party.

Paicho smiles at his fellow entertainer.
Why no, no I don't.
But I could demonstrate for you the lovely tengu courting dance; which consequently is also the tengu mating dance.
Would you like to see it?

Yes, thanks to Shifty and all the people letting it be possible

Sign up for Google Drive and Google Drawing.
If you have a pdf version of the module you can copy out the map and paste it into Goggle Drawing (usually with a right click), and do the same with character icons and anything else you want on it.
Draw black boxes over the bits the characters cannot see.
Enable different line boarders on multiple versions of enemy icons for ease of identification in battle ("I attack the red skeleton." "You can but blue will get an AoO on you.")
Remember to enable 'editing' in the file's share preferences otherwise folks won't be able to move their icons around.
Some folks use Google Slides (I think that's what it is called) instead of Drawing. It has the same functionality except that some phones won't be able to see things that hang over the edge of the slide template (that's probably true of Drawing too but the surface is big enough I've never run into the problem). Slides allows you to attach multiple pages to one file.
Good luck.

The most popular method by far for making maps and displaying player handouts on PbP is with Google Docs. You can upload PDFs and images, manipulate text, and so on, and anyone with the access link can manipulate them as well (like to move their character icon). GMs usually include map links in the game description (although GM Slothsy does it in her profile line, which I've found to be extremely helpful!).

can someone point me to tips on making maps etc I wanted to GM 7-22 Sun Orchid as my first game as a Pbp GM. I've a rookie but experienced regular GM
An opportunity to be a master actor!

"Second that! If yer buying."
My bad. Should have posted the above in the discussion thread.

"Um, no. Some of us are trying to drink here."

![]() |

"Um, no. Some of us are trying to drink here."
"Is drink not better with something to watch?" Asks a civilized-demeanored, but nonetheless frightful-looking, half-orc woman with a strange tattoo running from her face all the way down to her lower leg, wooden armor carved in a macabre ribcage design, and what appears to be a near-freshly-forged headsman's axe across her back.
"I say show us the dance of your people, Tengu!" She shouts, raising her liquor flute in The Magnificent Paicho's direction.

![]() |

"If I like his dance, maybe I'll 'pay' him afterwards."
She is good-looking, in a feral sort of way; of course, how a Tengu might view her is adds a whole extra degree of alienation to the matter. Then there's the disturbing, hungry way she looks at other people - and what sort of hunger, one can only guess.

![]() |

"Ah, well, at least we're on the same page then." A confused look briefly crosses her face. "Your point? Would you want him next, or what?"

![]() |

Hearing the great enthusiasm for his performance.
Paicho starts into the courting dance, making sure to make eye contact as much as possible with Khana. Getting paid in one way or another is always agreeable to Paicho. Saving his best for the stage, and not the tavern, he gives a solid performance.
Perform (dance) take 10 for 18
