The Fallen Sons and Daughters of Heaven Pathfinder Campaign

@Rednal: Do you not have access to Mage Armor? Or Ice Armor? Or Instant Armor? And I think all your classes can cast spells in *regular* armor...
I have a spell that's a combination of Shield of Faith and Protection from X (typically Good, probably), but I'm probably going to focus on just getting Bracers of Armor or something. XD
Sariel's overall theme is that of a light, agile character - not obviously wearing bulky armor, because honestly, heavy armor isn't good for tempting people.

Another doc for fallen traits that have been priced by the GM?
*Taps chin*
Maybe we could put FP costs in a second tab in that document, and completed character submissions in a third?

Edit:
Beat me by 39 seconds, Rednal.
Also, I'm putting the link in my profile in case people lose it
Added the ones I've been looking at.
Nice job on the FAQ/Costs/Characters document!
Oh, wow, multispell is good!
So want that.
Does it work with SLA's?
I'd need to check my existing spells... but that may be worth looking into, yeah. XD
Hey, great way for casters to overcome lower DCs!
Even if we have scarred the GM off, this is some straight-up ingenuity.
Kudos.
You know things have gone nuts when the players are self-organizing the information. XD
I always end up doing stuff like this, glad it could actually be of help in this case.
Part desperation, part hope. I love it. There may be an unfortunate side effect of triggering a second arms race...
I'm taking multispell...Anyone have any insight into how it works?
I wonder if Multispell doesn't require a real arms race though... after all, the creature it comes from has 6 arms! :p
Continual truesight for 4 is pretty tempting though.
The Google docs is a fantabulous idea, especially if another GM wants to try running this, even if this game gets off the ground.
Ya know like that Rednal fellow maybe :P lol
I'm not sure if I want to take multispell, honestly.
It's not clear about what kind of action it takes, so I could spell combat with three spells 3rd level or less, and get a full attack on top of that.
That's ridiculous.
Added a description of multispell and a few others.
EDIT. But you're a scary super devil Bigrig.

I think it would be reasonable to assume that casting multiple spells is like making a full attack - it's a full-round action.
@Monkeygod: I GM a lot. Sometimes I want to play the game, too. XD
Double maximized spellstriked shocking grasp. FTW.
Double enervate, possible -8 lvls.
I mean it sounded like there was just some thing that came up that was making him busy for a day or two, not like a big promotion or move or anything, so don't count the DM out so quick :p

Well, even if this flops, I'm probably going to add my character to my homebrew world as a minor deity. So at least I'll have that, hahaha.
Guess I should add my stuff to the Doc. Though I doubt many will be interested in chain guns and plasma breath.
TarkXT wrote: Guess I should add my stuff to the Doc. Though I doubt many will be interested in chain guns and plasma breath. Maybe not theme wise, but it's likely they could rename it as something else but keep identical stats and effect for at least a couple of them, right?

This sounds really cool! I'd like to throw my hat in on this one. Just one question first, Are the occult classes allowed?
Yes. Rednal is making a mesmerist.
Specifically, a Cult Leader Mesmerist.
It seemed appropriate. XD
Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber
Sweet! I'm not entirely sure what combination I'm gonna put together but it'll definitely use one of the occult classes.
@Rednal- That is pretty appropriate!
Killing things isn't really that hard. XD I decided to focus on out-of-combat stuff instead... so now I can possess people and items, detect as good (or at least not evil) if a Paladin looks at me, foil even Wish-level divination to see my true nature, have mind-reading display what I want even if I don't know it's happening, and generally tempt people with their heart's desires. XD
After all, evil doesn't really win when it kills its foes - it wins when it corrupts them and they choose to fall.
I don't know, Rednal, slaying your enemies and drinking their souls is might fine as well.
Just goes to show our different dispositions!

That sounds daemon-y to me - though I think our GM did say that we could have daemon-like characters, and I've been lead to understand that our cosmology is at least a little different from Golarion-standard. XD
Of course, even destruction would work pretty well for our goals...
"Surrender to the pretty girl or I will destroy your soul. Permanently."
Which is... less of a 'good cop, bad cop' routine and more of a 'bad cop, worse cop' one. XD

I prefer the "annihilate all organic life" route myself.
I'm considering playing an AI inside a construct. Angel obsessed with technology and thus caused his downfall, but not before he was able to "upload" himself.
@Rednal- that is the gist of Azrielan. Corrupted souls must taste even better....we'll have to experiment!
Ok, I've been way busier today than I hoped so I got very little done... I did, however, discover that there is not enough thematic material to pull off my 'fallen of drowning and suffocation' idea...
So, now I'm thinking maybe I'll go gunslinger/magus [myrmidarch]/wizard [spellslinger] and make a gun-mage. I'm thinking (if the GM is cool with it) of playing with the setup a little and instead of a straight up fallen angel having my story be that I was a human who destroyed an angel to absorb its essence (trying to steal its power/immortality)... I sort of succeeded but since I became an outsider in such a horrific way I was 'born' a fallen instead of an angelic being.
Tiny Coffee Golem wrote: I'm considering playing an AI inside a construct. Angel obsessed with technology and thus caused his downfall, but not before he was able to "upload" himself. We should team up and exterminate all these filthy meatbags.
*Taking notes*
Our GM is planning to run two tables, I think, and if enough applicants fall on either side of a divide - one group wants to go kill mortals and such, another wants to have social challenges and politics and whatever - that might be a pretty good way of splitting people...

Iaidionnel is just interested in two things: Increasing her knowledge and perfection of the manipulation (and consumption) of souls and ascending (possibly even achieving apotheosis) with the eventual goal of destroying her former boss. After reading about the more powerful Asura (especially Asurendra), I think the whole idea of "perfection of evil through practice and dedication" really fits her.
I've also been thinking about asking about getting the ability to craft items/upgrades with souls. Might be a way to provide upgrades for the "innate" abilities we all have, and would work really well thematically given she crafted both her legendary items that way.
@Iaidionnel- remember, you already can do that. The Soul Trade exists (you have to scroll down a bit, past the daemon parts).
He mentioned WAAAAAY back in the original concept eating souls to get stronger, so that's probably a thing.
I'd rather not have a hard split between "Kill the humons" and "Corrupt the humons", because I wanna do both. First the deceiving and the corrupting, then the destroying.
I'm worried our DM got scared off ha-ha. Still haven't gotten a reply XD.
Hey, if you can get them to destroy themselves you get the job done *and* the satisfaction of corrupting them, right? :p
Mia can get them to destroy themselves. Hahaha.
To summarize - Sariel has no real problem with killing people, she just wants to tempt them to the point where they WANT to die and go to Hell.
She miiiiiiight occasionally imply that they'd get to be with her if they die for her, while casually not mentioning that "be with" actually means "serve in the grunt forces of Hell and be affiliated with only at an extreme distance". Unless they're especially interesting, in which case she's got Contracts for that sort of thing.
(No, really. XD I bought that power.)
I wonder if I'll be able to create themed constructs that are masters of their specific gimmick.
But intelligent like robots.
Robot masters if you will.
