Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

That's a little frustrating. *shrugs* C'est la vie.

Yeah, let me know! We'd be happy to come in if something changes (barring changes on our end of course). Good luck with the game if it doesn't though!. :D

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Hello! Would you have room for two more? A newer player from my home group and I are interested.

She wants to play some kind of cleric or oracle. While I'm interested in playing a shifter, I'm pretty flexible and can do just about anything else if necessary.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Thanks! I try. Lol!

Yes, I can access Roll20. I use it for a Strange Aeons game I GM.

Presenting Xond the Mercenary Halfling Solarian.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I can get it up within the next hour.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Hi. Is the recruitment officially closed? If not I'd be interested in throwing in a character. If so, Good luck everyone!

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

If you're looking for a non-Mesmerist idea, take a look at the Rakshasa Bloodline Sorcerer. A temporary buff to social skills and a possibility to foil "zone of truth"-like effects at 1st level along with bloodline spells and abilites that (generally) line-up with the Enchantment focus as you level-up.

I've played a build of it on in a couple connected one-shots and really liked it.

Dotity dot dot, Dot DOT!

EDIT: Hypothetical Question, When you say

DM-Salsa said wrote:
No Firearms, Gunslinger, Tech items, or related archetypes and classes

Does that include the Bolt Ace? (the Gunslinger Archytype that uses crossbows instead of guns)

Hungry's anger quickly fades as sound returns to the group.

Im good! Well, not in the alignment sense, but you know what I mean.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I don't really care either way as to knowing each other or not the characters know each other. I'm pretty flexible as to what level we start at. Yes to Background Skills. I do like the ABP but sometimes the decreased wealth is a little tight.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

This sounds really cool. I'm definitely interested.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Congratulations to all who got in and have fun! As to the bonus slot, I'd be more than interested.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Congrats to all who got in!

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I was hoping you'd ask, Kobold Cleaver!

Fleshed-out Backstory:

Echo is an oddity among the Monks of Azure Monolith. 'He' was born out of the corpse of a monk who had fallen from the path and became a Kurobozu. After the Kurobozu was slain, Echo was born. Initially, the brothers and sisters were wary of the strange skeleton that sat within the walls of the monastery in silence, unsure what to do about it. Eventually, they began to aid the being in it's day to day survival as it slowly gained sentience. Three months later, the now (mentally) 5-year-old Echo began to join the monks in their daily regimens and training. Once he believed he had learned enough, Echo left the monastery on a journey to discover what and who he is. After hearing about Barlily's unique relationship with death, Echo made haste to get there for any kind of clue about his birth from (un)death.

EDIT: HERE is a link to the Alias I will hopefully use.

@Kobold Cleaver Let me know what you think.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Dot. I'm thinking of an Obitu Unchained Monk. The idea for his backstory is that he was born after the monks of the monastary where he grew up killed a Kurobozu that had arisen from within their ranks.

Here is my submission, Cthurinai.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Dot. I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head so I'll get one ready and have it posted in a few days.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Here is Julius's Response. It is also in his profile.

Responce:

Julius's eyes wander his surroundings. When he lights upon the sky his eyes glimmer and a smile crosses his face. Beautiful. But he's not sure why he walks on. It too quiet for city this big. With a deep breath, flames erupt around Julius's hands shedding light as he launches several volleys in many directions to see if there is a reaction. When there is none, "Hōhā!" Goblin: Boring! Walking through the square he runs his hands through the dust in the fountain and sat down. Julius loses himself listening to the music, his eyes locked on the flames dancing around his hands that have shifted to alien colors and its familiar dance fals into rhythm with the mysterious music.
Julius stares directly into the fog, You a strange thingy."What is you?"He calls out. As the unease grows he lightly clenches his jaw and launches a larger gout of fire into the fog. And again and again and again. That's when the real fear sinks in and Julius ran away as fast as he could. Without a second thought Julius dove down the lower path, getting low and in the dark had always saved him while he was growing up... at least, he thinks it was.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I'm gonna throw in Julius Armistead, Goblin Pyrokineticist.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Ok, I'll throw my hat in the ring with Julius "Piglet" Armistead, a Goblin Kineticist who was raised in a "longshank" orphanage. Kineticist Gold: 1d6 ⇒ 4 x10 = 40 gp. I'll have him done tonight.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Is it a 1:1 point buy or scaling link PFS?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I love the Emerald Spire! I'm interested and have an idea for a slightly insane CN Cleric of Azathoth. I do have one question, with Horror Adventures being released Thursday, would material from it be allowed? Because the Elder Mythos Cultist Archetype is really flavorful for the character concept I have.

Cleric gold: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 5) = 17 x 10 = 170 gp.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Dot. I'll start working on ideas.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Gustav Holst's The Planets Op. 32

Hope you feel better soon!

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I don't know how having a sphere caster on both sides of the gestalt would work together but I absolutely love the idea I came up with so here it is.

Ishoti Moonmaw, CG Male Human Armorist (Symbiotic Knight)//Thaumaturge (Pactmage) 10.

Ishoti was born in a small backwater fishing village that many travelers found creepy and off putting, many avoiding it as best they can. Unknown to outsiders the village worships a mysterious and dark entity who lives deep under the ocean, known as the Shadow in the Deep, through dark and occult rituals. After the town was ransacked by pirates, Ishoti suffered a ghastly scar across his chest and was impressed into service on the pirate ship, The Devil's Horror. After years of abuse and mistreatment his dreams wandered deep into the earth under the sea to a forgotten temple complex where he is confronted by the avatar of the Shadow in the Deep. In this dream he struck a pact, in exchange for protection and power to be free of his oppressors Ishoti would find the real world temple complex and free him (but he doesn't realize that that is part of the deal). Using his new powers Ishoti escaped the pirates and began traveling across the surface world until he went exploring into Rappan Athuk and the beginning of the campaign.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Is this still open? If so for how much longer? I have an idea for a character but I don't necessarily want to work on the concept if I have to really rush on it.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Do we gain the ABP abilities of our level or higher due to lack of equipment?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I'll go with a Sin Magic Specialist Necromancer Hydra Head.

2nd Lv HP: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
3rd Lv HP: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
4th Lv HP: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
5th Lv HP: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
6th Lv HP: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 6) = 19-4=15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 1) = 17-1=16=>15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 3) = 14-1=13
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 4) = 14-1=13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 6) = 21-4=17=>16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 4) = 19-3=16=>15

I don't know which of my many ideas is most ridiculous but I'll workshop some of them and get my submission up soon.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Congrats to all the people accepted! I'm sad I wasn't but such is life. Have fun all and I'll be around if I'm needed.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Good luck to all! I'm really excited but scared at all the great characters people have put up.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Here is the crunch for my submission, Sonurlicd Elanobm, Hydrokineticist extraordinaire! The fluff should be up by tomorrow evening.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Here is my submission, Claire Goodoak the dryad-raised druid. The only thing I think I'm missing is the campaign trait.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Druid Wealth: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 Perfectly Average.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Ooo, Sounds like a fun place for a druid.

2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5) + 6 = 15
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 6 = 15
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 2) + 6 = 14
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 = 12

I think I'll just go with the 20 point buy.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I'm interested, but I have a few questions. How much leeway do we have when creating a character's backstory? What constitutes the standard races? Would the Calagni race be allowed, cause I have a Caligni Hydrokineticist that I've been wanting to play for a while.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Dotting. Almost done updating an old character to the new build rules, but I need sleep and will finish and post tomorrow.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Ability Scores: 5d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 2, 1) - 2 = 8
Ability Scores: 5d6 - 6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 3, 3) - 6 = 14
Ability Scores: 5d6 - 5 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 2, 5) - 5 = 14
Ability Scores: 5d6 - 7 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 5, 5) - 7 = 15
Ability Scores: 5d6 - 4 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 5, 6) - 4 = 16
Ability Scores: 5d6 - 7 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 5, 6) - 7 = 15

I can work with that, brainstorming ahoy!

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

This sounds really cool! Would replacement features from Archetypes count as class specials?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

How do you wanna handle racial ability score modifiers for monsters? Primarily how would you determine what they are?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Sounds like a fun time! I'm definitely interested.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Yay! You're back, GM That Barmy Cutter! I just need to refine my characters backstory a little then I should be good to go.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Here is my submission, Notheah Asealior, so far. Let me know if anything is wrong, looks out of place, uncertain or the like. I have yet to decide on spells and write out his back story but I should get them done tomorrow. The general idea for his back story is that he is the son of a minor noble who is adventuring in an attempt to gain his families approval and love.

Thanks! That's what I'm looking for.

I should have most of the character put together before the weekend.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I am definitely interested. I have an idea to play a Half-Elf Warlock. Could someone provide a link for the League rules? I can't find them.

Hmm. I did say any paizo published race. Well, yes you can, but keep in mind that such a creature would stand out like a sore thumb in a mostly-human city, and might be difficult to keep a low profile as a rebellion member.

Noted. I'll will get my submission posted today.

Boon 1: 1d30 ⇒ 4
Boon 2: 1d30 ⇒ 25
re-roll 1: 1d30 ⇒ 5

Oo! I like the idea of a Munavri from the Sightless Sea who is in Kintago on a trip to learn about the culture of the surface world. If being a Munavri is too powerful I'll instead use the re-roll for extra traits.
