We obviously lost power. We lost some shingles that I still have to deal with, and a ton of food from two refrigerators had to be thrown away. And at least 3 days off a critical project I'm on at work - some of my co-workers are still out of power. But all-in-all my area got super lucky (again).
And we played some Pathfinder by lamp-light with the kids, which was fun. We kick-started 'The Wormwood Mutiny' and played a couple sessions. I have no idea if we'll continue it now that busy life sets back in, but it was fun so it might. :)

I'm not sure wht I'm looking at on the map. The cyan-outlined guys are on our side? And if so where are the bugs?
Yep, the cyan is Helvara and the boys. One of the bugs is on the ceiling above Tassira's square and not pictured. The other is in the shadows behind the stalagmite pillar and not visible on the map. And the original two got squished or knocked into the chasm so they're not pictured either.

On how judgments level up I'm going by fast healing 2 as the text states this:
The amount of healing increases by 1 point for every three inquisitor levels she possesses.
Regeris currently possess 3 levels.
If you compare this to other text, it will say 'increases by 1 point for every three levels she possess beyond 1st' or something like that if it was to start at level 4.

I highly recommend making macros in your profile. IMO, especially at higher levels, makes life much much easier in PBP. Nebbin has four attacks set up, with and without power attacking and with raging...

With Nebbin's chivalrous drag of Kayleigh, I'm thinking maybe Kayleigh gets an action in Round 1. If that's the case, I'd like to have her channel positive energy before Tassira starts burning the swarm. I have no idea if Kayleigh can use Selective Channel to exclude a swarm or not.
If it's allowed, I'll roll it here now in a spoiler.
Kayleigh should still have her full set of actions; the movement was all done as part of Nebbin's action.

I just noticed that tomorrow is our gameplay thread's first birthday! I'm traveling this weekend to see the parents (and the outlaws!) so I might not be able to post until tomorrow evening, so happy birthday to us. Please have a free re-roll in celebration, to be taken sometime between now and our next birthday. :D

Heh, time's a strange thing. I checked a couple of months back and couldn't believe this game hadn't already been going for over a year...and I mean that in a good way. This game's become my 'Old Faithful'...likely to have some updates every day and often beautiful to behold. (OK, the second half of that's a bit of a stretch, but I kinda painted myself into a corner with the whole 'Old Faithful' reference.)

Yeah, hard to believe it's been a year! I've had a great time in this game and I've enjoyed playing with all of you. It's probably my favorite. I have a couple of other games that I love for their RP, but they are irregular on updates and therefore slooow. This one has the best of both worlds.

I'll second Nebbin's suggestion about visiting the Pharasmins and/or the Pantheon of Many; I'm pretty sure they're both near the south end of Korvosa but don't have my guide handy. Quick peek at an online city map mostly confirms my belief. Pharasmins first, then the shrine of Calistria?
@DM Luke: Was Helvara OK with us bringing in a Calistrian?

Whoo! Since my son made his High School squad I'm not even getting home until around 11pm, up to three nights a week. I apologize for the less frequent posting of late. I'm afraid it's likely to continue until his season ends (February). Don't want you guys to think my interest in the game is waning - just a shift in our schedule/workload that I haven't figured out yet.

I'm sorry about your buddy motteditor. My Mastweiler made it to 12, which is an incredible age for the breed, but he's been gone for almost exactly 2 years now.
Really sorry to hear that Mott! We're definitely pet-people around these parts, and making that last call is the worst of all days.
A little more than a year ago my wife and daughter got us into the local guide dogs puppy raisers group, so we raise one puppy a year for them. Handing them off to the school after a year is hard, but I console myself with the notion that that kind of goodbye is far easier than the one you guys had to do.
We also get a new puppy, though. It seems like an ok deal, but I do house-train one dog a year in this program, so we'll see how long we can stand doing that.
Sorry again to have been so lame recently. On the bright side, my boy got to play in his first varsity game as a freshman last night! No goals, but a dad can't have everything. Definitely a moment to stop and smell the roses.
I'm more worried about potentially sidelining players for what could easily be a month in PBP, though our GM seems pretty happy to run parallel stories.
Yeah, that's why I threw out the compromise suggestion. Think of it this way: If the trip to the Heights gets Kayleigh tuckered out, Nebbin may have to carry her piggyback back to Bridgefront, which, I believe, technically makes her his girlfriend again. ;)

You now, I have to say this is the best run PbP I've played in. I have others that match it in some ways, but they all have weaknesses as well. Great writing and immersion, but slow posting, etc. This one has it all. Thank you.

Thanks RD! I'm looking around at other site hosting software as well. Probably planning projects I'll never get around to. Thinking of cleaning up the site and changing the L&F. Once the holidays have passed I hope the posting rate gets back to where it was.
The soccer season has been pretty brutal. Three nights a week of sitting in (our version of) the cold, watching my son sit the bench and watch his team lose. BUT, he's practicing every day with the varsity team and learning parts of the game he doesn't learn in his club spot (center back). We have the second half of both seasons waiting for us when we get home.
So far he's had 35 precious field minutes :)
