Please bot me for the next few days as I will be dealing with a few issues that will leave me unable to post. Thank you.

Hey guys, sorry about the long silence. I accidentally left my flash drive containing my adventure PDFs at work when we started work-from-home with the whole COVID-19 thing. I thought I'd be able to duck into work at some point to grab it, but so far no luck. Hopefully I'll be able to get in this week.

No worries at all! I've been remiss in my own adventures also. With all the craziness going on in the world I've been in a bit of a funk.

SCT-L3- I believe your character is represented by a figure in the map representing the current encounter.
You might have been absent from the thread for some time, but we have had a couple of lengthy delays. I don't believe you were ever thought to have left the campaign and probably missed a lot less than you think.

Does anyone need a recap of why you are on Cato Nemoidia?
We got that fairly recently :-)
Recap: You were sent to seek out Darga the Hutt, on Cato Nemoidia, because the Empire was buying slaves from him for something Project Sarlaac. After arriving on Cato Nemoidia, you found evidence that one Warrick "Womp Rat" Raden might be able to help you in the spaceport, but nothing else about him. When you left the space port, you encountered a swoop gang called the Vipers. In the battle, Callum was rendered unconscious from their attacks. You defeated the Vipers, but their leader, Kessra, escaped. While Callum recovered, Colvin and Sebbik tracked Raden to an abandoned warehouse in Cato Nemoidia. You approached the warehouse, splitting into a flanking group and the front group. The flankers are ready to attack Raden's thugs if the fight turns hostile. Galatea was attempting to resolve things without fighting, since she's good at that, but while her first Persuasion check was enough to delay hostilities, her second didn't quite make the mark. Everyone is at full HP.

Anyone have a thermal detonator?

Hello fellow players-
Where we are in game is we have reached Darga and need a response to-
.and a silver protocol droid steps up from behind the dais to stand at Darga's side. Darga says something else in Huttese, and the droid says, "The illustrious Darga demands to know why you have come to his palace, and how you have convinced Raden to escort here."
Galatea is the group's diplomancer and speaks Huttese, so should answer in game. I would welcome some input from others, this is complicated and important.
This mission started around post 801 11 months ago real time.
I had to re-read it. What happens when we meet Darga? Well from the game past around post 801-
Galatea listens to the briefing quietly and attentively. When the Admiral stops speaking she says "Cato Neimodia? I will be familiar with the local inhabitants, though I have not been there before. Admiral Varth, can you give us any details of the transfers of resources to and from Darga's organisation. As much detail as possible. We have to track this criminal down and uncover a secret project the Empire is anxious to conceal. Any clue or lead will be vital. And these casualty reports, did they give any details at all. Who was killed and injured, where, what race, what caused the injuries or deaths?"
The Admiral does his best to answer Galtea's questions. "I'm afraid I can't answer much of the questions you ask. My only involvement in the Sarlaac Project came in managing resources, and most of those were encoded. The casualty reports were not detailed - the numbers were only broken down by 'Imperial' and 'work force'. I suspect 'work force' referred to slaves, but don't have any evidence that it does. The work force numbers were always bigger, though."
Colvin Dashwind wrote:
"Alright then. Do we have an in with Darga or do we have to create one ourselves?"
"You'll have to create one yourselves. To make matters more complicated, Darga’s exact whereabouts are unknown. However, he has been seen in the Cato Neimoidian city of Zarra. Chances are that someone in the city knows where he is, and may be able to get you in to see him. You'll likely have to do something for that being in exchange, though."
And that is as far as we got. We haven't discussed this and if anyone has a good lie to tell the Hutt I welcome the help.
This is the lie Galatea came up with when we got to Cato Neimodia to tell customs-
"As to the reason for our visit, we are attempting to establish a business and come to Cato Neimoidia seeking finance, either in the form of a loan, an investor or investors with funds, or both. We Neimoidians are renowned as canny financiers and our plans should bear good profits in time so this is a natural destination."
that might help a bit.

Actually, Colvin has a legitimate reason to ferret out a meeting with a Hutt.
As far as "services" go, we can provide pretty much any service he wants as we are a talented group. Right now we just need an in so we can poke around ad find out about the Sarlaac Project.
Colvin will do the talking :-)

Excellent Colvin.
We hadn't discussed it at all as a group and you had thought things out better than I.
Let us hope you convince the Hutt. Otherwise we may have to... slug it out.
I have an underworld angle in my background so it works cause we can use the truth of that to wedge into the mission :-)

Sebbik is not a devious type (unless he's hacking computers), so he's not going to be of much use here. He'll just keep quiet and watch out for trouble. Colvin, I like the plan so let's go with it! :)

Hi Folks, apologies for the long absence between work, side business and still getting organized at the new place I got way behind.
I also believe I am a bit burnt out on RPing. Been doing it a long time and I think my muse needs a break. Going to withdraw from most games here on the boards. My apologies especially on this one, the flesh is willing but the will is non-existent these days.
| Sebbik |
Been there and done that. Sometimes a break is exactly what's needed! I'll continue to keep an eye on this thread in the future, just in case it picks up again sometime in the future.
