Everyone gets ready for the upcoming battle with the glass golem. Nils, focuses his rage, while Balthe and the other prepare. You all step forward to meet your foe...but nothing happens.

Maybe the golem doesn't trigger when being appraoched? You exit, but still nothing.

what do you wish to try? Do you just leave and go to the golden golems? Other thoughts/ideas?

Yep. Punchy time


everyone gets around the glass golem, and start smashing away on it. It never animates, and within a matter on a minute or so, the golem shatters into a plethora of tiny shards.

The group, turns to leave after the destruction of the golem, but they get mere steps away from the shattered glass...when a loud bang is heard off to the east.

You progress towards the final slew of gold golems, and much to your surprise there is a glass golem marching towards you to meet you in battle.

Balthe and Nils, move up to the golem, and each try to subdue the crystalline enemy. Nils' sword bounces harmlessly off the creature's natural armor, while Balthe is unable to properly get a good grip on the construct.

Teclis, knows from the various studies, that the glass golem functions differently to some spells.

Immune to Magic (Ex) A glass golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance. In addition, certain spells and effects function differently against a glass golem, as noted below.

** A shatter spell damages a glass golem as if it were a crystalline creature.
** A keen edge spell affects all of a glass golem’s slam attacks as if they were slashing weapons.
** A magical attack that deals cold damage slows a glass golem (as the slow spell) for 3 rounds (no saving throw).
** A magical attack that deals fire damage ends any slow effect on the golem and heals 1 point of damage for each 3 points of damage the attack would otherwise deal. If the amount of healing would cause the golem to exceed its full normal hit points, it gains any excess as temporary hit points. A glass golem gets no saving throw against fire effects.

Teclis, lets a dense ball of cold, jagged ice fly from his outstretched palm. It slams into the golem, which seems adversely affected by the spell.

It retaliates against Nils, by slamming into him with mighty force. The jagged body, slams into Nil, causing a wound to open that continues to bleed from the open wound. You than see it start to shift and move ever so slightly.

Nils, keeps bleeding from the wound. Balthe does indeed grapple the razor sharp golem, but as he does so he feels some magic start to occur. Moments later, the golem slides out of the man's grasp. Teclis, once again fires another ball of snow and ice but it sails inches wide left and bursts against the wall. Wulfgar lands a mighty blow on the golem.

The golem's wounds seem to close as quickly as he takes damage.


Wulfgar, seeing Nils injury shifts the sword to his right hand and with his left reaches over to Nils and calls out "Gorrrrrum!", For a brief moment Wulfgar's eyes change and healing virtue burns through Nils, cauterizing the bleeding wound. Wulfgar's eyes go back to normal and he quips "Bwa ha ha, leavink good scar that will, Da"

Balthe slams his fist into the golem twice. The first fist leaves a hairline fracture, while the second finishes off the golem. All that remains is shattered glass.

The only remaining area is the southern room, containing golden guardians.

Nothing happens as you approach the room. It isn't until Balthe steps into the middle of the room, when all 4 guardians animate. They appear slightly damaged, as if during the creation; something went wrong.

Nils needs some healing before he goes on. That whole bleeding out thing is rather disheartening.


seeing Nils injured, as they walk to the 'Golden Guardians' Wulfgar tells Nils, "Stop walkink for moment, Nils, this is goink to hurt, Da." Wulfgar lays his hands on Nils shoulders and screams "Gorrrrum!" and a burning sensation runs through Nils turning all the injuries to black scars. Wulfgar looks at the scars, smiling, "Therrrr you are goink, Handsome new Scarrrrs!" Wulfgar then continues following Nils to the next combat.

Finally nodding his head both his eyes, clearly focused he asks "comrrrrades shall we be finishink with the guarrrrds, Da?"

Teclis, looks at the golden guardians and after searching his memory banks he remembers a few things about them. They are immune to fire and electricity, and have basic construct immunities (bleed damage, suffocation, massive damage, etc).

Nuils and Wulfgar both easily hit their target. Despite the massive blow dealt by Wulfgar, the construct dense body seems to shrug off or absorb some of the hearty hit. Nils powerful blow too, seems to have less that full effect. DR 5/adamantite

Balthe, pounds on the golem that has been taking the punishment, and he connects twice. The golem is super hot, and damages Balthe with its intense heat. After which, he moves back so Teclis can cast his spell. A barrage of golden flakes cover the two golems. Both appear to be flailing about, trying their best to pinpoint their targets.

The guardians move forward. The one next to Balthe, continues its assault on the man. Its fists slam into the monk, bypassing whatever defenses he thought he had...not once but twice. His flesh burns from the intense heat of the slams.

The golem nearest Nils, slams on his twice. The first slam nearly takes Nils' arm off as the golem hits Nils square on the shoulder socket just as Nils' tries to get out of the way. Luckily for Nils, he dodges the next blow that comes near him. The golems in back, stay put as they cannot tell where their targets are. They try to get rid of the golden "dust" in their eye area, but fail to do so.
